I really appreciate your content. This is a large issue for me. The fomo is wild Forsaken's campaign and the entire tangled shore got removed. Mercury and Mars, from warmind and Osiris, also vaulted. So DLC doesn't make it sacred unfortunately
This game!!! I guilded the Star Baker title and immediately asked myself if it was even worth it...smh. During the Season of Plunder I got the Scallywag title and the whole experience was dreadful. The FOMO factor associated with wanting to complete weekly quests is ridiculous. It was so bad that immediately after unlocking the title, I uninstalled the game until a few months ago. I suppose that reinstalling the game was because I can't quite find any other game like Destiny 2...Warframe...maybe, idk. I'm really thinking of uninstalling again. I love the gunplay, but this game has some elements that take up so much of your time, and you don't play out of enjoyment, you play out of wanting to get that next thing, be it a title, a weapon or a piece of armor.
Honestly the over monetization of destiny and sunsetting of content caused me to leave destiny altogether as what's the point if it's not fun anymore. I loved destiny 1 but currently Bungie is so disconnected from their fan base wants and needs it's not worth giving them anymore time or money I ultimately left in the worst way I'm now apathetic to what happens if the company dies we have watched them make dumbass decisions over and over it's their own bad the company will finally suffer for burning all the goodwill out of the players while still reaching for our wallets...well deserved though I feel bad for the developers who will inevitably lose their jobs when it all fails.
yea, I actually gave up playing destiny this month, I mean I'll still hop on for those banshee/xur roles if they're good, but I won't engage more, ESPECIALLY because this season is 7 months long I'd rather be on guitar hero Fortnite lmao (which is much more fun, for me, than the hell that is pvp, and the grueling chore that is pve)
The holiday events are literally the only time I expect fomo because that's the point their limited time events that come around yearly so there really isn't a fear of missing out its more a fear of missing this year, I understand hating the seasonal fomo because that never comes back but you're complaining about something that other companies do and no one cares because it's not destiny Also your idea for fixing the events is very counter-intuitive, you want more people to interact with the event but you also want to shorten the playtime?? That defeats the purpose of wanting more player interactivity and making the event loot rotate throughout the year completely ruins the point of the event Completely agree that all cosmetics should be earnable tho
The only Christmas giving Bungie is interested in is giving them money. Warframe gave gifts to each player who gave other players gifts. The best way to enjoy Destiny is never playing it. Seriously, the Cult of Destiny is extremely bad and should be walked away from.
Oh good grief with the pronouns in the about section.... Nobody thinks "I wonder what this person's pronouns are" , aside from the couple people that live on Tiktok lol .....Nice vid though 👍
Or look at it from the other angle: Destiny 2 actually helps healing FOMO. When you understand that it's not worth the grind, you just go and enjoy the game. The more people will do that, the less FOMO events we'll have. ...but then youtubers will lose their bread they're making with 38472520586 videos about "GRIND NEW RIFLE!!!! NOW!!!!! DO IT NOW. YOU'LL MISS A LOT IF YOU WON'T. IT'S METAH. IT'S SO METAH!!!!!!!!" which is funny, 'cause then they proceed to use the same weapons from season one in raids and trials. 😂
Wasn't it just great when grandma only sold us shaders and many thought she was secretly Savathun?
At this point my Destiny characters are like tomogachi pets that I feed pinnacle loot to
Best comment I’ve seen all day

I really liked the Forsaken stuff, especially the Tangled Shore and the weapons
Forsaken is one of the biggest things I wish I could go back and play, as I wasn't introduced to the game until late Season of Plunder.

Could have sworn Luke Smith said a few years ago that they wanted to get rid of FOMO. Guess not.
He*
@@DerLuukee they, referring to bungie as a whole.
@@Ahnock oh, you're right 😂
The best way to not fear on missing out is not to play this trash. Finally was able to quit and not only do I feel better I'm healthier as well.

Do people seriously still play Fortnite??
@@Sir_Catnipyes!! I play both
@@Sir_Catnip yeah, about 6 million regularly, and 12 million at the Eminem event
Same, it became so booring. Im like thinking of playing diablo 4 or some mmorpg.

Background music at 2:12?
I just finished guilding Star backer again and I looked at the weapons and was like …they suck….
ty for ur insight, i really enjoy your content
Its fomo but the weapons aren't that meta to do end game pve stuff
I always hated Eva but you took it a step further and obliterated her lmao

if "fomo" actually bothers you you should see a psychiatrist
Everything sounded good except the forced group grinding. Lone wolves should be let alone.
destiny 2 is a dying game bungie needs to let it rest in peace
yOU LEGIT get 80 days of the dawning, its not taking away from your family time during the holidays 💀
Do we?
No that’s confirmed to be a visual bug. The dawning is the normal 3 weeks this year. x.com/BungieHelp/status/1734712346910789722?s=20
