🚇 The Tunnel’s Calling 🇫🇷
UK you’ve been beautiful… we’ve hit some amazing spots off our bucket list, opened up new opportunities + had a total blast!
Heading off into the sunset, we’ve crossed the channel in our 7.5t motorhome to France… and boy does it feel GOOD 🙌
We're off to who knows where for 2022... come along as we adventure europe for the first time with the big rig!... warmer climes would be sweet 👌

No, the sat nav with live traffic tried to divert but I just followed M11,M25 and M20 to Eurotunnel, I was on the 11.20pm train though👍

Could get some rubber or plastic edgeing to protect the van and maybe cut any rattling on the ladder cover.

Its great to see your back on your travels. How easy is it to get a Animal EU Passport ?
Dead easy - take current rabies paperwork… either passport or AHC to an eu vet. Before brexit this cost around €25-€50… this may have changed. It’s just transferring of info to an eu passport, vets stamp and signature throughout + make sure future boosters are signed off in the eu 👍

My dog is from Romania and has a passport from there so do I not need to bother getting U.K. passport? Where in France would I get the rabies injection done? Will check as maybe that’s already been done, great video x

So the pet passport - if your dog has a Romanian passport, hold on to it 💯
The rabies jab needs a booster signed off in the passport - every year or three years, depending on the type of vaccine the vet uses… this will be seen in the passport - date administered + date booster due.
If your dogs booster has lapsed - you will need the vet health certificate etc to get out of the uk - this is pricey and lasts 4months. Unfortunately a uk vet can not longer sign anything off in a eu pet passport.
Once you have left the uk into Europe - take your dogs Romanian pet passport and the health certificate paperwork, to a vet in the eu and they will be able to update your Romanian passport, which will then be perfectly usable again, without the need of any of the health certificate hassle.
If the Romanian passport rabies jab is still in date - you can travel on it alone now… just making sure you get the booster signed off in the eu, before it expires.

Hi guys good luck on your tour. We've just paid for a Animal health certificate and see you managed to get an EU passport. Could you share with me how you managed this. Thanks.
For sure, hold on to the AHC plus any other vet paperwork 💯
