Just a minor tip: disable mobile roaming onboard a ship. I know O2 will bill you according to the flag the ship flys under, not your location. I was stung for non-eu roaming on the Portsmouth-Santander trip because it flew an Icelandic flag.

Hi Steve and lins the last time I went to Morocco (driving)was about 40years ago, and I was driving an articulated truck, so I wasn't going to see as many sights as you, even back then you had to reverse on to the ship, no looking in your mirrors just keep your eyes on the marshal, once there in Tangier you realise how friendly your hosts are,the only thing that I found was the road side food stalls that were offering fresh food really were fresh, so fresh in fact, that the chicken was slaughtered there and then, have a Fantastic time in North Africa and enjoy the sights

From where we live we use that route a lot. Very quiet once north of Seville. Now Bejar. If you stop there again. Above you is the ski resort of Covatilla. Cool in summer and a great drive up.. From the aires you have the Via Verde (green way, old railway line). Walk towards town takes you through a tunnel. Walk away from town is very rural. Worth doing. Enjoy.
We definitely want to visit again!

Very interesting to see your video and travel route. I’ve driven this many times with my family so I understand your travel talks. I was really interested where you stayed on beach so looked up your link. I have to say I was really impressed. I have driven along that route between Gibraltar and Algeciras and never knew about that beach. Looking on the map you were looking right out in bay and outside you could have seen the planes land or take off from RAF Gibraltar. They aircraft turn out in the bay as they are not allowed over Spanish airspace. You found a brilliant spot to park up. Great find very impressed.
Always fun arriving at Algeciras port.

We travel to spain frequently, we never take any notes over 20, we find they dont like high notes, even 50s. Have a good trip.

Binge watched this last night with a wine (or three). Having visited Tunisia a few years back I wasn't sure about Morocco but it seems you are similar to me in that I always want to visit the big cities but I know I always enjoy the smaller towns!

When you come back from Morocco try and stop in avila spain it's a beautiful medieval city and they have a motorhome park just outside the city have fun melvyn ❤

Plymouth and Exeter my patch. We do the trip out of season Portsmouth to santander. if its not £50 note its 100 euro notes not wanted
i really love watching your videos, back in the 70s dad and mum would drive down the same route to see all our relatives in spain, we loved the old pride of bibao , brings back many good memories , looking forward to your next video.

We're on the Pont aven on Wednesday afternoon from Plymouth, the weather forecast looks bad so hopefully the seas not too choppy lol
On the ferry, How much extra did you pay in the restaurant and did you need to book or just turn up?

About £20 something for the 5 of us! And we just turned up!
The ferry was as predicted.....very rough. So rough that a car went sidewards in the garage during the night causing minor damage to the car next to it. 😮

I think the reason you had a rough patch on the ferry was due to the bay of biscay which is renowned for being rough. I loved your video and is still the same high content from you lovely roaming Radfords. I think George should review more cabins on ferries he is down to the point.

Hi. Your suspension. Can you not adjust the suspension to cruise smoothly but take in the rough bits as well so that it is all smoothed out ??
You only have the buttons we’ve shown to adjust it to lift or drop the motorhome, it just takes care of the rest
Great vid guys, I won't even take £50 notes, so I understand the mistrust. On my frequent trips to Gib, I can see the ships, as we fly over the top of Santander. I used to work in Morocco, when I did some contract work at the Ouarzazate Solar Power Station, worth a visit if you venture that way. Enjoy the trip and drive safely.

Surprised you are still using cash! We've used debit/credit cards for all our Euro trips for the last 2 years or so. Some really good foreign use cards out there nowadays.
We use Monzo and Revolut in Europe, but Morocco is a Cash Based economy so we needed to bring cash with us.

Yes they just wanted to put the smaller cars on first as the roof gets lower further in, so they kept us in the tall bit

Wishing you all an awesome adventure in Morocco. Can't wait to learn more about how you get on, on this trip. You have mentioned Starlink several times in this vlog and then I was very surprised when I think you said... and it doesn't work in Morocco. Did I mis-hear. I travel all over Europe and stay in remote wild camping spots and I have never had problems with my mobile 4G service. I have the option to plug in an external antena if signal is poor, but think I only used it once.
So please help educate me on what I'm missing / not understanding about why you need Starlink. Of course if you already have a video on this, please just send me the links.

The Starlink is just belt and braces. If we are out in the middle of the dessert without any reception the Starlink should still work as it connects through satellites rather than the 4g/5g network.

I was comparing your ”Beast’s” fuel consumption to our own under 3,5ton and I was surprised how good fuel mileage you get. Our computer says 13l/100km which equals 21.73mpg. Must be the speed.
