One shocking video shows a woman at a supermarket in Burbank, Calif., checking that no one is looking before snatching a purse from an elderly lady on a motorized scooter. The victim had no idea what was going on. Inside Edition's Chief Investigative Correspondent Lisa Guerrero decided to carry out a test of her own. That surveillance video of that girl stealing an elderly woman’s purse was from September of 2017. I tried searching for an update, to see if she was arrested, but I don’t think she was ever caught. According to an article I read, her purse was later found abandoned, but her cash, credit cards, and ID were missing and thousands of dollars were spent at the local mall. Whoever would steal from anyone - especially an old lady - is pure evil. I hope the elderly woman wasn’t held responsible for the fraud, and I hope she was reimbursed. Having something stolen from you is such a violating experience! 💔

You reminded me of something that was on the news years ago. There was a prison break which happened from the outside, were a truck went through a prison wall and loads of prisoners managed to escape. When some of them got caught, their excuses was their reason for escaping was human nature, they saw a chance for freedom and took it. Because of that they didn't get any extra time added to their sentences lol

Once when I was driving Uber this woman, about age 25, left her purse. She was my last ride of the night and I found her stuff the next morning when I went to vacuum my car before driving my next shift. So I let Uber know, they contacted her and she contacted me and didn’t even realize she lost it. Well, I drove over 30 minutes to bring it to her for free and when I dropped it off I handed it to her, she took it then turned around and walked back to her apartment without even saying “thank you” or anything. I’ll always do the right thing and return people’s stuff to them, but it still baffles me how some people can be so rude and inconsiderate to others like that.
