- Most people shave their legs in the bathroom but Inside Edition found one person who chose to do it on the train while on the way to work. It is just one of the disgusting things commuters in the tri-state area encounter every day. Inside Edition’s Chief Investigative Correspondent Lisa Guerrero rode the Long Island Rail Road to see firsthand how rude some passengers can get and ended up witnessing a stomach-churning list of behaviors. Among the more common offenses were the many seat hogs aboard the trains. #InsideEdition

Imagine if ur mom or wife was on that crowded train & she has debilitating arthritis in the knees & she just finished doing 8hrs ON HER FEET. Now u on a crowded NYC train where someone's luggage is occupying a seat. Or someone's feet is occupying a seat. Or someone's body sprawled out taking up multiple seats & I'm sure they only paid for one seat. How would u feel FOR UR WIFE OR MOM? I know Lisa's job isn't popular, but I'm sure she & inside edition got enough complaints the warranted this story being done

Its usually the smell of the food or if the person leaves a mess. Or even the food spilling on you by accident
I normally don't care if people eat on the train. I even do it sometimes because I either don't have anywhere else to eat it, or the food would get cold by the time I get off the train. The problem arises when you're a messy/noisy eater that feels the need to compulsively smack your lips and suck your teeth after every little bite you take, and/or proceeds to leave your garbage on the train.
