    The title is MISLEADING.
I thought that the kids were actually being 'Rescued' FROM the DANGEROUS Animals themselves.

Who knew that sandy beaches could exist at lakes and even along rivers!? (jk, most people know that)

I live in Ohio. And everyone I know calls the sandy areas around our lakes, Beaches. When my mom used to say let's go to the beach I always associated it with the local lake or the quarry that became a lake/ campground.

I'm in a wheelchair and I would not let my son or daughter hang on to a tree with a gator underneath, if I was there. As a father, you walk out until it moves & directs it's attention at you

I was bit in the upper right leg by a black dog when I was a kid, and I was saved when I ran and hid. But good news, it feels better now, and the dog was got rid of. The dog was someone's dog, and I don't know if their dog doesn't like to have company.
