- Though it may be remembered as the year of the Coronavirus, 2020 had a number of heart-stopping incidents that had nothing to do with the pandemic. In October, a jeep came crashing down a mountain pass, right in front of an oncoming vehicle. In February, a gymnastics coach became an instant hero as he caught a 9 year old competitor just before she suffered a terrible fall. And in July, two children in France fell several stories from a burning building into the arms of rescuers. #InsideEdition

Like for example if someone were to risk their entire life doing something that ends up saving their family, then someone were to just randomly bring up their career as a joke, what correlation do those two things have? They have nothing in common. It makes no sense and it just takes away attention from the fact that this woman saved her son and her husband from getting killed. What she did was amazing, and that’s what we should all be focusing on. Not her personal life.

The Coach was AMAZING - TIMING WAS … IMPECCABLE
The first clip was crazy. She's lucky to be alive. How do you survive that and the dog made it too. That's a dang blessing/miracle right there.
The children be dropped out of the window, that gave me anxiety and traumatic flash backs. I worked in a few child care facilities. Even a children's hospital. One of they day cares that I worked for in the city, had a bomb threat outside of it. This was back in early 2013. Of course, the all the workers spoke about what we would do in case of everything going sideways and how we would protect and evacuate the children. Which, we had a balcony with a gated area to get down the stairs. I told both my coworkers since I'm faster than anyone in the building, for them to grab the playtime carpet and get down the stairs as fast as possible and position themselves to catch the kids. Then, to run for the water front of the city. Because, we were that close and to not look back or worry about me. When the police came back to me to tell me that we were off of lock down and the bomb squad had cleared everything, I asked the chief to tell me whether it was an actual bomb or false alarm. He told me it was but, the only thing missing was the pin to trigger it. We both looked at each other and at the same exact time said, you know what that means? They were saying if they really wanted to, they could. I don't think our city has been the same since. Because there was 3 more threats.
So, seeing those young kids be dropped out of a burning building, just wrenches at me. It's surreal.
Okay, I can understand the guy pulling out his gun. If, you live in a country that you can carry one in and this happens. I can understand why he did what he did and he did stop and report it. I feel for the passenger/friend tho. That would suck being inside that car as the guns going off.

The accident where the girl's jeep comes crashing down the hill is probably 1 of the only incidents where *_NOT_* wearing a seatbelt actually saved someone's life. She survived because she was thrown from the vehicle. Had she been securely fastened in, I don't think she'd be here to talk about it.
