Tourists and Their Terrifying Brushes With Danger

- These tourists had terrifying brushes with danger while on vacation. In 2018, a man on a safari in Tanzania was shocked when a cheetah jumped into his jeep. In 2019, Kristen Yaldor was lucky to be alive after being attacked by an angry hippo. In 2018, a couple scouting destination wedding locations in Mexico were held at gunpoint and kidnapped. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.

They probably laughed their asses off when they left of how scared they were. To be honest they ran into a chill cartel member because some cartels aren't so nice as to calm them down. Hopefully they to learn to always have a tour guide to help them venture out in dangerous regions where threat is active, especially since cartels roam all over Mexico and they’ll give no mercy to anyone trespassing their territory or passing by them.
To add more stress to the situation, when they were told to turn around and leave, the guy driving didn't follow direction and stepped out of the car instead acting hysterically. Luckily, that clumsy move didn't have any consequences.

This is why you do research before going anywhere. Loads of places In Mexico we were escorted by policemen. A lot of these things could've been avoided but people forget that not everywhere is the US. Been traveling myself for about 6 months in Latin America without incident because I did my research and been a smart tourist. Just because you CAN drive doesn't mean you should in a lot of these countries. Bus it or fly.

My family and I did a safari in South Africa when I was young. Our guide stopped the Jeep about 30 yards from an elephant that was pushing a tree down. The elephant suddenly turned toward us and began flapping his ears and stomping. The guide threw the Jeep in reverse and prepared to flee in case the elephant charged. He did. I'm just glad that lady survived that hippo attack!
That couple who were kidnapped made the one mistake that you should never do. Never allow someone to drive you to a separate location. Fight back, even if they have a gun or drive away as fast as you can.
You do realise they had guns to they're heads you don't draw from the drop let alone attack from the drop they would have all just shot them then and they're it's not like they can attack 5 guys with guns to they're head don't spread false information in certain circumstances... yes what you partially said is true don't allow to be driven to a second location 100% facts but the part with they should have fought back NO! they had 5 people and guns drawn at them If they fought back they probably wouldn't have been here today.. if everyone wants to learn protection and is shown cctv or videos of all sorts of real attacks there's a channel called active self protection he shows you real sometimes hard to watch videos but tells you how to survive them or try to get the best outcome from a robbery or an attack etc. Always assume the worst about everyone in the back or your mind
They did everything right, because there alive
I don't understand how that was a possibility.. They should hv fought an armed gang of multiple goons, with their bare hands?
Lmao easier said than done. Yeah, let's fight back against 4-5 men with guns pointed towards our heads..
Your tripping
Oh my gosh... The birdwatcher story made my heart race. Seeing the utter fear on their faces! 🥺💔
the paramedic singing to the lady was so cute
I’m sorry to hear that
I was almost kidnapped in New York. I was walking with my friend and her cousin and dad when someone grabbed me. I snatched my arm as hard as I could and ran to my friend. They were oblivious to what had happen because they kept going. I was shooken up but I felt alone because they didn't seem to care that could have been my last day alive.
@@My_Secret_ArtSketchbook
New york is a crime infested hell hole
I wouldn’t go there
Dude wtf you have horrible friends and what kind of father is he I'm mad for you 😡
How do you know they didn’t care if they were oblivious to what had happened?
Were you a tourist?
I'm sorry that you had to experience that.... not to diminish what you had to go through but I've recently had to also go through an experience that could have cost me my life and it upset me even more that my own mother didn't seem to care so I totally understand how that can make you feel extremely alone. Please don't forget that you aren't alone.
We don't really know the whole story of Bird watching incident.. The guys in the truck didn't harm them in any way, shape or form.. I'd rather be stopped by a good guy with a gun, than drive into a situation where I could possibly be skinned alive..
They were helping them lol they must have been laughing their ass off at these Americans
@@Leon-pu3vm I'm American, born & bred.. To me, it was plain as day.. They were definitely helping them..
Buy them a beer, say thank you, and leave the area.. No harm,no foul..
Yes and they did say higher up is more people, they saved them
That’s crazy they drove all the way there just to see birds 🐦
@@explorationgmer1336 Pretty Dumb! Stay your ass home and go Bird watching. Let's go on a drive in a country with Cartel to go Bird watching. I'd say most of these incidents were avoidable except the Poor Woman that was tripped.
😆 some of these made me laugh 😂 and others terrifying - but absolutely terrifying experiences for all of them
I have never been to Mexico but I know more than enough about it; that it's a deadly place even for it's citizens.
Novels, films and documentaries made me realize it's a dangerous place to live.
I'll never forget Escobar Pablo's story and film I read/watched.
No stranger should go there on his own.
Ola jumoke. Pablo Escobar was from Colombia, about 7 countries south of the continent. 🤦♂️
I almost cried when those two men were stopped by thr group of men with the guns. The driver of the car showed his loved for the passenger while trying to calm him down ans still being afraid for himself
Me too, that was heartbreaking

I bet they made a baby that night
That cheetah is probably safer than visiting NYC nowadays, for sure, as it's a Lawless city!!
New York is a large city and still safe but yes in some areas it’s not safe
Omg.... I felt my heart racing watching
The look on the guy’s face as he sat frozen still while the cheetah was behind him 😂😂😂!
African guide: Nothing to worry about is only Cheetah! Remain calm with your back to it ...
Also Hippo: Happy Birthday nom nom nom nom
I feel bad for all of them. What was supposed to be a nice day turned into a nightmare. I can’t imagine being in their shoes
Absolutely horrifying situations.
Cheetahs aren't that dangerous. A leopard or lion is a different story.
