Don’t Mess With These Grandpas

- These grandpas are something else. Joe Mack Roy, known to family as Pop, is a feisty 85-year-old. His personality has gotten him almost four million Facebook followers. Another grandpa who has been doing Donald Duck impersonations for 70-plus years uses the voice to scare off telemarketers. In 2015, a grandpa from Illinois crossed crashing through a garage door off his bucket list. Inside Edition’s Andrea Swindall has more.
All jokes aside, never underestimate old people. Old man strength is a real thing.
Ok boomer
My favorite is Donald duck. I had the fluffy Donald duck as a child.
True John...
old lady strength too! 🙂✌🌼
Agreed
@@ruthlessuk6313 Don't be salty! Just cause you barely survived an old lady ass kicking!
Our society often forgets the elderly still have a lot to offer.
❤️
Absolutely 💛
Not really cognitive dissonance is real
Life insurance?
Yeah, complaining and gas
Stealing an old man's bike. Talk about pathetic, cowardly LOSERS!!! Thumbs up to all these senior citizens standing up for what's right. We need more people like them.
for an 80 year old, he sure is fast
Some people have no respect for others, they only care about what they want!
How would they know the person's age of the bike they stole? LOL.
@@loveforeignaccents bcuz they saw him tryn to get in the truck. Clearly a senior citizen...lol. It's too bad the previous 2 commentators wouldn't be able to tell when a senior citizen is trying to jump into a truck to get his bike. Surely ya don't think he'd put himself thru that for a bike somebody picked up off the sidewalk.
@@johnsteward132 Trying to get in the truck AFTERWARDS. How low is your IQ?

Don't you know any other words??
Not necessarily. I remembered there was a story of a 70 y.o.(?) Karen who got mad at a young teen cycling on the sidewalk
@not a human
You ruthless too huh?
Good to know.
Won't be responding to either of you idiots.
Btw...your moniker suits you perfectly.🌼

@C mac 55th street That's fracking crazy man!
@C mac 55th street you’re on the internet getting mad at ppl censoring their own swearing…
@C mac 55th street man ur making 55th street and cmac look like some custers
Also with impending reality of their mortality, it gives a sense of freedom to the elderly. To say whatever is on their mind without fear.
Agreed
Definitely one of the pluses to getting older 🤣
Why should age be a factor, the world would be a better place if we all just lived like this.. except for the garage door thing that’s kind of a weird dream to each their own
No, it's called being an Ahole.
Nope, we just have the experience of dealing with crappy people
I love old grandpas, and grandmas and old dogs. My mother took the vaccine and passed out and hit her head so she went to the hospital to be checked out. While there she caught Covid so they sent her to a rehab hospital. While there she didn’t have access to her normal supply of books and we couldn’t bring them to her, so one of the nurses walked in her room and found her reading a pamphlet about what to do after your stroke. The nurse asked her how was it? Mom said, “ it’s kind of dry. “ she really needed a good love story!
Lesson: respect your elders
Damn she really had it rough goes to show how tough she was.
That last guy gives me hope for being elderly, seems very lucid and healthy for someone 80+
Right and someone 80+ who hit their head on the back of a moving vehicle
80+ isn't that old, 2 of my grandparents were still sharp in their 90s. 1 only lost it in the last few years due to illness, the other was sharp until he died.
Respect your elders. They made it through life without the internet.
Respect good honest young people too. Theyre making it through life WITH the internet and i woukd argue thats a far worse existence.
Period
yeah its easy as it didint exist sooo
@MochiKu they could live without it but sure would suck for everyone yeah
Yes I have and took advanced mathematics and didn't use a calculator. Then I learned to use a computer, still have my trusty slide rule.
Our elders have so much wisdom to share to the younger generation. Listen up youngsters!
@another Collin with 2 L’s I bet em the only black guy you’ll see with this name..lol
Nah. Old wisdom is situational a lot of the time.

"I look good everyday. You just don't pay no attention". 😆 (Ima use that one...)
My Dad has been so mischievous his whole life. In his 80's, he lived with us and many times he'd walk around the property pulling two tanks strapped to a dolly. One tank was propane and the other was oxygen, and both had long hoses connected to them.
He'd look for gopher mounds, and once he'd found one, he'd run those two hoses into the gopher hole as far as he could Then turn on those glasses at a mixture he developed. When he thought there was enough gas in there, he had a way of remotely igniting it and BLAM!!
That winding gopher trail of dirt flew about six feet in the air and No more gophers there!
My Dad would laugh like hell every time he blew one up!
Then he'd move onto the next gopher hole!
I miss him terribly.
He was a man of few pleasures lol
Well done!! I would love to be able to blow up gopher holes.

Im glad that these "old" people stuck up for themselves or helped the world. But it is sad that people actually harm these people and don't even care.

With the last grandpa I was like "grandpa don't you ever do that again!" I couldn't help it, that was so scary. Glad that he wasn't seriously hurt.
That Donald Duck grandpa is awesome! I wish he was my grandad 😆
He looked like he had a good sense of humor alright...
I love the elderly, listen to the sages, and leaned so much from their experiences in life. Joe, he’s a character! Never underestimate the power of the elderly! 💜
Agreed, it's sad to see the way we treat our elderly nowadays despite their experience, they gave it all for the next generation and seen it all, it looks like we just dump them in some senior home to rarely see them again, but to me, it's just not right, after everything they did for us we now just leave them there, feels like a betrayal towards them, same for our own parents being next in line, no, it's wrong to do this, and we call ourselves as being civilised ??
At the same time, in Asia and Africa, they treat their own elderly with a lot more respect, they may be old but we're also getting old ourselves and will be their own age some day, unless something happens to us before we get their age, a lot of us nowadays have no kids and haven't ever started families of our own...
Also, they have so much stories to tell us where they themselves were there to see it happening and what they did when it happenend...
And, they always have some advice to give us when we often don't know what we can do, that experience can never and will never be replaced...
2:20 Hear his wife in the background, her accent. He definitely one of those old dudes who fought in nam and got him a pretty little Vietnamese girl pregnant. 😂😂
I miss my grandfather, he looked and sounded like Sean Connery. Dry British sense of humor. A very suave gentleman who commanded respect as soon as he entered a room and a very hard worker, get some of my work ethics from him.
Oh that's lovely
I love Sean Connery, such a handsome man😍
That is so awesome. I feel the same about my grandfathers and great uncles. I miss them all so much. The world was much better when they were here.
Sounds like the perfect grandfather to have. You were blessed.
Reminds me of my grandfather…the greatest generation…now I’m a grand parent myself and fully appreciate who he was and his profound impact on me.
Well done to these grandpas! Never discriminate elderly! ❤
Grandpa didn’t even use his cane, he reeeeached back with that leg!
That dude did a swan dive!
"Always fear an old man, in a game where men die young."

Hey. I listened to the advice given to me by the older people/seniors in my life while growing up. Glad I did. Best life skill advice I ever received.
I always did, too.
My grandfather used to do that Donald Duck voice as well! I was pretty young (6yo) when he passed, but this is one of the few things that I remember of him. He used to tease me in that voice all the time. ❤️RIP Grampa❤️

The grandfather is in good shape, he practically did a lunge to trip the bad guy.
Everyone gangster until grandpa steps in to save the day!!!!
"His first name is actually Donald, but his last name isn't duck" 😂😂 that was actually funny!
🤣🤣
Like Dr. Ducky on "NCIS". His last name is Mallard-a duck, of course! My art teacher at UNG sketches ducks among other animals, etc.
Reminds me of my late grand father.. he was once mugged down town by 4 guys.. or rather an attempted mugging. He served 15 years in the french foreign legion and when police arrived all four men needed hospital.. he was 69 at the time. He ran marathons until he was 84 and he died in 2003 age 102 from natural causes

Love that the last guy was given a new bike. But, man! I hope those thugs have karma meet them one day
My grandpa is in his 80s and he is a retired truck driver. He delivers the meals on wheels meals for our county now.
My dad used to do Donald Duck all the time. I miss it so much. Thank you for putting this in here!!! You'll have no idea how happy this has made me..
I had a priest, Fr. Bill, who liked to do the Donald Duck voice for my friend's little son. Fr. Weston is probably doing the same for his friends in heaven now and Eric is now 20.
To all intended muggers, robbers and thugs, look and learn from this show. The life you save may be your own and could keep you from going into eternity in hell fire.
4:57 That police official looks like he’s as old as the grandpa that was told to not intervene with the robbery.
Yeah, but he's not saying he shouldn't have intervened because of his age. The police wouldn't recommend a young person to intervene either, because the robbers could've very easily have shot and killed them, and the police doesn't want to encourage that. Doesn't mean they aren't grateful for the man stopping the robbery, but they have to be careful with what they say as to not encourage others to do the same.
Ur racist

Sometimes people forget that old people were once young and acted very similar to us
My grandfather was funny as hell had a mouth like the devil.

Why did he have It?
old dude looked down the barrel and kept going!!!! I wanna grow up and be like him
Old people have packs of experience, despite their frail looks.
I had a wrestling coach in high school who was in his late 70's. He has that super old man strength. Never underestimate someone because of their age
I love the elderly for this 🥰
They have so many stories they wanna tell or just talk in general. Theyre always so kind too!
Im so happy where I work because they let the elderly dance, enjoy some treats or drinks, sometimes theres singing and more ☺
It brings a smile because before I did work at a elderly home, but there was only 2 working and often they were off to help the elderly that sleeps more and needed more care since they didnt ever come to the kitchen
My heart broke when one of the elderly was left to roam the halls and kitchen, sometlmes crying and asking for help
He was like “don’t mess around with elders” 🤣

This makes me miss my grandpa so much now.
Go Go Granpa!!! Hey, we do what we can when the moment arrives. I'd have to agree that the older you get, the less hesitant you get. Something has to be done, do it. The importance of your own life is less compared to the importance of the lives of people around you. Much love.
That first clip is hilarious... I'm glad you showed it so many times. Last guy, I wouldn't recommend risking your life for a bike... lucky for him, he's still with us.
With lots of experience grandpas can be as bad as what you think.
But loving as much as you love them also.
I love this whole thing. My grandfather was murdered and it forced my grandma to work and raise their 7 kids. She died when I was 18 but she was HILARIOUSLY honest to people. I would have LOVED to start a page dedicated to her antics.
