  • Luigi Mangione, man accused of fatally shooting the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, pleaded not guilty on Monday to murder and terror charges while his attorney complained that statements coming from New York's mayor would make it tough for him to receive a fair trial. Here's the full court hearing from Dec. 23, 2024.

    • @dontmindmeimjustchilling
      @dontmindmeimjustchilling Year ago +85

      @ChynasPinkParadise well yes, because you see you, i, and our children and families arent really seen as full ‘people,’ were seen at best as cattle with some human like characteristics. But they do not see us as human. So when a whole bunch of us get slaughtered in our classrooms, grocery stores, etc, well yes its ‘tragic,’ but to the top its about as tragic as some lifestock being put down.
      But when you go after a rich?? THATS an actual full human being, and the mere notion of one of ur cows (which luigi is, despite being ‘wealthy,’ he and his family are nowhere near wealthy enough to be considered ‘human’) shooting the farmer is like total anarchy
      Note: so many of us are aligned, even families with a few million who believe theyre seen as full ppl are not. The difference between a million dollars and a billion dollars is night and day.

    I posted a story a few days ago about my father. He suffered a stroke at 84 years old. Paid premiums his entire life and only had used his insurance for routine visits. Very healthy himself. He was told he needed surgery to unblock his vertebral arteries which was the cause of his stroke. His insurance (BC/BS) denied the claim due to only covering the carotid arteries. I'm sure he is in heaven right now commending Luigi on being the voice of all who suffer and succumbed to their suffering.

      While I had that same initial thought; they’re just doing their jobs and carrying out their orders.
      But the fact that their commanding officer/the courts/whomever that decision fell upon is having them do that is ridiculous.
      If anybody here has been an avid viewer of law and crime…they know even people like Darrell Brooks-whom were constantly screaming out nonsense and making threatening gestures and attempting to intimidate witnesses AND THE JUDGE-didn’t even receive that type of treatment.
      It’s super odd. Frankly, they’re just making it more difficult for the prosecution by putting on these theatrics.

    Look at those cowards surrounding the guy with the spine injury like he's a danger to anyone there. If he did something, would it really take four of you to contain him? Preposterous! They just want to make him look scary. He's not scary to US!

      @chriswolfinger6638 I won't call them cowards.... but.... it does look pretty weak that you need 5 cops standing basically within a few feet of him. How terrified can you be? At least put them on the side or near the exit, so as not to appear to be that afraid of him. I thought he was in cuffs?

      @stacystacy87 God won't be with him if he did what he's accused of. Remember, "Though shalt not kill." God doesn't care how handsome you are, how self righteous you feel nor how many other sinners, which we all are, throw their support behind you. No sentence imposed by a court of law - man's justice - will make it right, and that goes for any crime against God's ordinance. Court-imposed sentences pay the debt to society, not to God. "Vengeance is Mine" sayeth the Lord.. "I will repay." If Luigi is indeed guilty of malicious murder aforethought his only hope of redemption as far as God is concerned is through Jesus Christ, who has already paid Luigi's debt for him.
