- Mexico is a hugely popular destination for American tourists, as roughly 9 million of them visited the country last year. The State Department has issued a travel warning for Mexico, following allegations that tainted alcohol is being served at various resorts. At Iberostar Playa Paraiso, an all-inclusive luxury resort on the Riveria Maya, the booze flows like water. Jamie and Rick Valeri, tourists from Wisconsin, say they lost consciousness after drinking beer and mojitos at the resort in 2015. #InsideEdition

The quickest way to blackout is by drinking excessive amounts of alcohol and doing shots. You don't have to go to Mexico to figure that out. Check out your local college town where cheap alcohol, blackouts, and sexual assault is very common. Of course you can avoid these places, or drink responsibly, or.... not drink at all. Stay safe people, it's a tough world out there.

I know this was filmed two years ago but Me and my friends decided to watch some inside addition we watched this video and decided to book a trip to Mexico to this resort. We were so excited and decided to bring a Vlog camera with us to vlog everything about the alcohol and other things like the waterpark. When we filmed in the bar the manager came out and asked us to put the camera up you could be part of inside addition we simply told her That we were not we were filming this for a RUclips channel. She told us we were going to be kicked out if we did not put the camera up there for I do think they put things in the alcohol.

I was there this summer! It was amazing, and everyone who drank was just fine. It's because they have too much. The real story had a brother and sister died from "tainted alcohol" but it was weird it was only those two. They probably drank too much. Everyone else is most likely lying for fame and money. It was the best vacation I ever had, and I've been many places!

Thats definitely possible. But i ask you to also hold tainted alcohol as a possibility as well. There have been proven records of tainted alcohol being sold to tourists to intoxicate them at a cheaper cost than the name brand, giving an extra money flow to the seller. Similar to when dirty heroin gets sold with fentanyl in it. It drastically changed the potency...and the amount of people that die skyrockets bc of it. All im saying is that its weird for two kids to both wind up face down in a pool such a short duration from just a drink.....

I had tainted booze served to me here in the USA. I can handle my drinks. Went out to a pub not long ago, was served 2 vodka and cranberries (I've had them before elsewhere or at home), and then became extremely dizzy and severely uncoordinated, I could barely walk! I remember being mentally in WTF disbelief. I literally was staggering. No one spiked my drink, I watched the bartender make my drinks both times and hand them to me, never left it unattended. My best friend was with me as I never go out without being among trusted people and she took me home right away. I remember trying to walk into my house and having to be practically carried. I felt like complete death, it was so horrible. Memories of the night were fragmented with the exception of how fast I took a dive and how bewildering it was. Never happened to me in my life.

The alcohol bottles may in fact be ok. A bartender/barmaid could easily slip something in afterwards when making the drink. These resorts should have security footage in bar areas. Not sure why this was not questioned as to a possible cause?
