Disgusting stains, condom wrappers, and bugs were discovered at some Houston hotels that are charging big bucks for the Super Bowl. Inside Edition's chief investigative correspondent Lisa Guerrero checked into a series of Houston hotels that are normally affordable but have inflated their rates for the week of the big game. She first checked into a Super 8, which typically charges $70 per night, but shot up to $390 a night. Upon entering the room, she quickly found all kinds of problems. #InsideEdition

Who knows if he actually fixed it. I once had a teacher who started taking notes while a fire inspector was telling him about all the safety hazards in his classroom, and when he left he threw the notes away and said that since we all have legs and we know where the door is there shouldn’t be any problem.

My mom works at a hotel and the stuff she’s told me was INSANE!
During our Hockey Centennial Cup, my mom’s manager told my mom to rush through everything. She was told to only change the sheets and towels, then leave. My mom was absolutely disgusted about it so she secretly cleaned a lot more since these rooms would get used for the next 2 weeks will sweaty, stanky, rowdy hockey players.

My mom is super serious when it comes to hotels after she got a bad infection from one. Whenever we get a room she immediately checks the bed for bugs, and then does a thorough check of everything else.
I have respect for the last manager despite the filthiness of the room he took notes of what were bad. I'm guessing he took those notes to see what to fix or change. And he didn't run off like the rest :)

Years ago when I moved to NYC, I became a hotel housekeeper at the point hotel. I tried my best to clean any room assigned to me. But my supervisor would get very angry because I "took too long cleaning the rooms." I had 20 rooms I had to clean in less than 6 hours. I later found out other housekeepers where not charging sheets in between customers or deep cleaning toilets. It gets deeper than this... they never bought new towels or pillowcases. I dont blame the owners I blame the housekeeper supervisor Paola. She forced us to use Clorox when the hotel owner was very allergic. Paola Nuñes only hired Spanish speaking personnel because they where new to the country and had no knowledge of their rights. She allowed his manager to lock me in a elevator, threatened me because I didn't accept having any sexual relationship and when I spoke to Paola, she fired me like many other females before me that didnt allow sexual contact. 20-07 127th St, Flushing, NY 11356
When I asked Paola for help. Because I was being sexually harassed by her manager her knowing I have epilepsy and I am a trauma survivor, she did what she had learned to do to cause an epileptic attack. Then she and the hotel owner left me in the floor while I was having an attack. Later, another worker found me and assisted me then I went home I was fired after that.

I travelled through the south about 3 years ago passing through over 2 days. All of them charged [whatever $] and did nothing more than remake the beds with the same sheets. I know this after I wrote my initials in green dry erase marker across a corner that was found on another bed. I told management I wanted fresh sheets or a health inspector would be notified and given a picture of the certificates on the wall.
Those MOTELS were disgusting.
IF I was a manager for one of these hotels I would be nice and give them a full refund and a bible because I need Jesus after seeing these rooms

The other managers probably thought it was in their best interest to walk away because they didn’t want to be filmed and get punished, but the last guy who took notes is so much more respectable because he showed he wanted to improve his hotel.
He was looking into a lawsuit most likely. Just like the other hotel franchisees.
When I travel I only stay in name brand hotels, even then you should inspect the room thoroughly. At least with franchised hotels they have standards to meet. What I saw in this video was pure filth!
