The motel is a public place, it's legal to record people in a public place, so that manager was wrong when she said she didn't have permission...you can legally record anywhere besides other people's houses or private property.
The hotel managers should have a lesson being arrested and banned for letting bugs and gross stuff in hotels. So 1 manager: call cops. 2 manager: be killed for being rude and arrested too.
