I remember a house call from a text only referral and the persons name was toni, i figured it was a dude. When she opened the door she was one of the most gorgeous women ive ever seen. I was speechless for a few seconds and said toni texted me about the furnace and gave me this address, she said it was her and i proceeded to help her out even though i already fixed her problem over text, a buss fuse blew after they installed a smart tstat, she just never put the furnace door back on after replacing the fuse. Got it back together and running with a reduced service fee. Then her husband and kids came out of nowhere and thanked me for my 10 minutes of work, every god damn one of them looked like cgi models of genetic perfection. It still haunts me to this day that unimaginably perfect people actually exist. Not this reporter though, shes alright.

As an electrician myself, I will tell you that it's very common to find bad electrical work and scams from 'licensed' hvac and electricians.
A bad hvac tech will sell you a new blower motor when it was just a bad 40 cent switch stab-back.
Or many other common things like you have bad capacitor or motherboard etc.
I wish all bad contractors and techs would lose a finger each time.
As an hvac tech I'm seriously offended and I feel you need a new condenser/coil replacement.

There was this plumber that I used to watch on RUclips to get some pointers. He always hated when customers would hang around him and watch him work. He called them helicopters. I guess it means like hovering around him. So I made a comment saying that the reason why people do that is because your profession has a bunch of scammers. It’s been 3 to 4 years, and I haven’t yet heard back from him. No matter how awkward it seems, always keep an eye on these people.
