Shoulder pain can also make sleeping difficult, but Bob and Brad have just the thing. Check out this video on how to stop shoulder pain while sleeping ruclips.net/video/MOqMq-sT900/видео.html
I sleep on my side and had terrible hip pain. I now sleep with a pillow between my knees and another under my feet and I sleep very comfortably. Thanks for this guys.
As a single person I have room to sleep in the second position, but I’m a tosser and turner, so I don’t know which side I end up on or if I stay there all night. A pillow would get in my way. Fortunately I’m not having hip pain.
@@leighburville2717 Perhaps you didn’t hear the physical therapist say he helped out with his wife’s pain? Maybe you should pay attention! Or maybe his wife should become the person she married? Or maybe you should MYOB!
Love the pillow ideas. I will be trying them soon. I did have very tight flexor muscles as I sit ALOT. I did some studying and found some exercises to stretch those muscles and began doing them about 30 minutes prior to going to bed and that helped so, so much I can't even put it into words. I tend to sleep hot and I think that the pillows will serve double duty for me. They will help with comfort as well as stopping my skin sticking together from sweating all night. This occurs all year long too. I am hoping the pillows will help with this as well. Thank you for the great info!
I sleep on my side, when my lower hip starts to hurt a little I'll turn over onto the other side...and after a while THAT hip starts to hurt. So it's back and forth, back and forth all night. If I use pillows I seem to kick them away in my sleep. :P
i sleep on my side with one knee raised the other leg straight out if i turn the other way i get terrible headache instantly so i have to sleep on that one side. i will defo try the pillow thing tonight lol my husbands are both nagging me to do so , they know my hip is always painging me. that coupled wiht your actual begginers exercise i am hoping it will help me manage the pain i have with that hip and by spine etc i have scoliosis thats the spine issue.
I haven't been able to sleep comfortably for a long time. I'm told I've had a hairline fracture of the left hip and need hip replacement, then left knee replacement as well. But also have been waiting for lower back surgery for many herniated disks. I just need a new body. Seeing specialists for years now and was always told it was my RA and fibromyalgia even though I completely disagreed, then after mri and special x-rays they came to the conclusion that I'm really messed up. If doctors would only listen to their patients especially since I've been seeking help for the past 7 years on this.
I have scoliosis and need to sleep in certain ways to keep pain down, but it's been making my hip hurt lately, I think the pillow between the legs might work best for me
What about a sleeping position for someone who has bad hip And a tender shoulder? The ball that goes in the socket of my shoulder is dented and the muscles at the back of the shoulder is weak. So I put a pillow under my shoulder so it doesn't fall back. And a pillow under my knees while I'm on my back. Good? Bad?
Great video but I would add that firmer 100% pure latex mattress or at least certa-pur-foam mattress tends to be the most supportive type of mattress for your spine.

I have tried the pillow between the thighs, I did the hip exercises, I don't lay on the hip joint .. sooo I'm willing to try again because I don't sleep well at all 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I used to never be able to sleep on my back. Even if I fell asleep on my back I’d roll over in my sleep. How did i manage to change my habit? Well every time I roll over my pain will wake me up lol
Dude, where the heck is Bob? There used to be an "announcement" stating Bob's disease. Has that caused him to no longer be in the videos? We sure do miss him and keep him in our prayers

Glad to hear you are not having any pain!
I need to marry a physical therapist!
And massage!
😂😂😂😂😂
metroteacher .. Be the person you want to marry.
@@leighburville2717 I could be a physical therapist but I’d rather have the therapy by someone.

You’re welcome !
I had a pain and I came looking for you guys. Giving it a try
Pillow between my knee and lower leg and raised my knee closer to my chest while sleeping on my side seemed to help with the hip pain.
I have used your advise and it has changed my life!! I sleep so much better!!
i found out that my back pain related to my food habit, especially suger amount that i use in my meals
It's great that you know what the cause is, that makes it easier to fix!
Thanks Bob, Brad and Mike!!!💚👍👍👍
You are very welcome! Thank you for watching and supporting!
I bought a pregnancy pillow. It helped immensely for lower back and hip pain
Body pillows also work really well for hip pain while side sleeping
Those do help a lot 😊

That is a common problem, but it's still worth a try! Tossing and turning is the worst! Such interrupted sleep is not good for your awake hours!
I love sleeping like Mike with that thang arched up but my back can’t take the pounding anymore. I needed to try new positions!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thanks for watching 😊

Great to hear.
Oh, my. I’ve been sleeping incorrectly for years. I did, however, use the pillow after both of my hip surgeries.
Now you know 😊
I have found that a very soft mattress conforms to the body much better giving the effect of a pillow under the waist(when side sleeping).
Thanks for sharing
The pillow technique I tried and it worked
Love the Bob message
Definitely the idea of pillows work 🙏🙏❤❤
Thanks for watching!
I am going to try this tonight!
great! hope it helped
I definitely need this video today. Thank you!❤
You are so welcome!
Thanks y'all! ❤
Happy to help!
Thank you so much! Now I know why my hip bone hurts . I thought I needed to stretch it more . 😊
Great to have helped
My hip keeps me from sleeping on either use. If not my hip then it is my lower back
Great tips! Thanks for better sleep 😴
Any time!
Lol, I don't have any trouble getting to sleep, but my right hip is better than alarm for waking me up (usually in the morning).
That sounds familiar
Bob Blurb! Love it! ❤ Betcha can't say it 5 times fast, though! 😆😆😆😆 Thanks, team!
Our pleasure! Glad you liked it!!

Where is Brad
Seriously...where is him??
Bob had health problems. The one that not there now. Sorry got names mixed up
Yooo fr doe i hope he's ok
Bob is working behind the camera these days. I miss seeing him in front of the camera.
I could sense something wasn’t right with him… he wasn’t speaking as clearly or cleverly recently. Hey, I’m 67 and know what that is like.

Ever since my hip replacement I realize the importance and need for PILLOWS!!!
Exactly!!
Pretty clever
Trained hip pain for back and shoulder pain. I think I used the wrong pillows.... took a hot shower now it's just neck pain.
How do I enter this to win?
I use a body pillow that I can bend & pull in the most comfortable position for sleep.
I have pain on right back of pelvis
How can I sleep better to avoid pain when awake?
Thanks

Bob has taken a role more behind the scenes now as our director among other things!!
If only I could set the pillows up like that, and just not move all night long
Right, that is an issue to still figure out!
