0:41 Lying leg curl 4x8- 10. Slow partial reps and finish with isohold 10 sec
2:32 GHR (negative only) 5-6 reps all you need.
keep tension on hams
(4:04 demo on GHR with positive)
4:56 stretch hams
5:55 good mornings with stiff legs 4 sets
6:54 Reverse elevated lunges (focus glutes)
4x10 Rest 3 mins btw legs.
10:10 25 reps drop sets
13:18 leg extension. drop sets

John can only push her as far as she is willing to push herself, which is clearly to the absolute limit. Ms Truscott’s physique is a reflection of that commitment 💪🏻👍

Wow those reverse single leg lunges are absolutely brutal. Today I feel like I've been toe punted in the behind with steel toe cap boots. I haven't performed or seen anyone else performed this exercise in this particular way in 25 years.

That's a beast leg routine!
Off to the gym to throw in a few more of John’s teachings. I thought I knew how to work my chest out properly and some slight variations wouldn’t offer much but I tried some of John’s chest exercise suggestions and my chest was mad pumped and sore the next day. I swear I had a pump in my chest for 2 straight days! LEG DAY!

Mr. Kearns...Hank Kearns...Health teacher, football coach in NJ, retired by now....he pushed us like this...it was amazing to find out your limit was no where near what you thought.
I was 15, 110 pounds...leg pressing around 200 pounds for 12. He was my spotter one day and said, today, you're gonna do 400 pounds. I was thinking no f-ing way. We started at 200 and worked up...without really stopping much...i did do 400 pounds...twice, actually (on two separate sets)....and then he burned me out for what felt like forever...I couldn't walk right for a week. But I just got stronger from there, and I learned REAL intensity....and that my limits were self imposed. And those lessons carried over to a lot in my life.
Its still easier to keep going with someone pushing me rather the me pushing myself though! I need a trainer now and then!
