I miss you John. You had such a huge impact on my life man. You taught me discipline and hard work, as well as the science of training. Rest In Peace my man and it’s so sad we never get to see you again. 🕊😓
@@syphe101 science is not always 100% correct. About 50 years or so ago the atom was the smallest thing until we cut it open and all kinds of stuff spilled out.
RIP John! You are missed but never forgotten! I will watch your videos for the rest of my life! You have helped me improve my physique through your videos on training and diet! Thank you so much!!
That rapid warm-up's been in my permanent rotation for awhile now. Freaking awesome. Followed that up with a 25 rep rep-goal set (that's what I call it, anyway), another MD technique, and leg curls before moving on to belt squats last leg day. Leg isolation before compounds is the way to go. Can't get through a single WO without employing something I learned from John. Greatest BBing coach ever.
You think its a game? Why are you blaspheming the Almighty Jesus Christ you better repent before it is too late! You will not speak to the Almighty like that when you see Him on the day of judgement. You better fear God!
Man I wish I had a training partner like John Meadows who will always push me past that mental block and get those extra reps. RIP Mountaindog. The bodybuilding community hasn’t been the same without you. Wish I could sacrifice my life so you’d still be on this earth.
"You can do it with a band, I'll show that to you one of these days." Yeah, one of these days John, one of these days. I promise we will meet and pump iron in heaven. I hope rest easy good friend, I discovered you only about 4 months ago, and your advice has been absolutely critical to my current success, in just 4 months I went from doing 35s and maybe 40s to hitting 70s on my regular press, i'm squatting, deadlifting and everything above my weight in all categories and im finally kind of able to do dips, i can get about 10 to 12 reps in and maybe another few sets for like 8 and i lost 100lbs but despite all that, rest easy bud. I won't hold you to long for to long, I hope its good up there. Stay safe.
John is incredible that we will not see you again. you impacted thousands of people around the world with your videos. we miss you and I will continue training with your programs.
RIP TO THE BIGGEST INSPIRATION IN BODYBUILDING, A LOVING HUSBAND AND FATHER. I tear up seeing Alexander doing his yo-yo tricks because you know how special that was to John. Thank you for everything brotha I’ll see you by the hack squats in Heaven one day.
Awesome workout video! Really miss you, you were a pioneer in bodybuilding and your knowledge in exercise and nutrition is priceless! Thank you for all your knowledge. Cheers, Billy
Love John's workouts and pointers...now I just need to find several guys to come to gym with me for drop sets, some planks, some supersets, someone to say come on, come on 4 more and some prayers when the ambulance arrives.
The man showed the world you can train like a savage and still be a classy gentleman. The way he treated people we could all take a lesson. Hope the wife and boys are doing great in life. I know there will always be a void. Love to Meadows family.
I start with hamstrings. Then I do squats on smith machine then jump back and do leg extension then squats. Then after that i do farmers walk or dead lift as its my choice.
5:24 you can see dude in the background with the wood plank 😂😂. Got some good advice with doing some crunches after I finish up some squats. Thanks Jon still learning from these vids 🙏.
I just watch a video about your training in the early days, and you mentioned training with Nick Bowman, and Mark O'Hara at 6:00am. I got the opportunity to train with both of them while I was attending Ohio State. It is a very small world, isn't it?
Strength curve is different, her anatomy might make the two movements feel different, less axial loading, different ROM. It's an educated decision made by John Meadows specifically for her.
John was an amazing guy.. I love getting tips from his videos... And Theresa is gorgeous... She reminds me of my favorite female bodybuilder from when I was younger, Corrina Everson....
John’s gym attire was always on point. Marvel tshirts and Air Max 95s!

He’s the reason why I rock Marvel T’’s to this day. Rest in power legend!

Is there a exercise that we can use if we don’t have a pendulum squat machine? Also, thank you for continuing Johns work and sharing his wisdom! :)

That Cap shirt is sick!
My gym got pendulum squat. Love the ROM
Great coaching
The Lime Cabaret has been running straight in Heaven for well 45-50 years ‘till we brought you all up early too.
In squats, it is not advisable to stand on straight legs. Right?
Love you John - Rest in Peace
She looks done after the warm up lol!
I miss John so much.
Would be leg press a good replacement if i cant access to a pendulum?
It can be and I tried it. If you want more quad emphasis then check out John's video on V-stance Leg press. Same feel, same protection.
Awesome.... I miss you dude !!😔
We all miss John so much.

What’s the point of pendulum squats when you already did smith machine squats? Does anyone know?
