    John’s work ethic was insane. It’s crazy how much content he had filmed before his passing. It’s still so surreal that he’s no longer with us.

      unfortunately i think all the backlog of content has ran out. all recent uploads are reuploads of older vids. Il still sit here happy and watch them again. just keeping them in my feed is enough:)

      Damn. I had no idea he even passed. Always had good content and seemed like a genuinely good dude. I was about to ask a question on something he said in this video, but saw your comment and of course Googled it afterward. Best goes out to the ones he loved and who loved him.

    This makes alot of sense! Activate the muscle, load the muscle, pump the muscle and then stretch it. Solid approach from a legend.

    No one in the game had as much passion, intelligence, & dedication to training as John. Not to mention being a loving father, family man, & mentor. He had such a thoughtful & practical approach to training & growing. I’m so grateful that there are still videos coming out from his living days. He’s continuing to help me on my fitness journey. We miss you John but your legacy will live on forever. Thank you sir 🙏 You’re a legend

    I used to concentrate too much on getting big weights as many times as I could for chest if you get me....but since lessening the weight slightly, slowing it down and really concentrating on squeezing the chest in the top part of the press I've gotten amazing gains, learnt all this from John.
    I didn't realise how bad my form was (although I was shifting good weight) until watching alot of John's videos, he explained everything so well. Love his videos...RIP buddy.

    Praying for his family his legacy in bodybuilding is cemented .... I’m from the hood and we loved John he touched everyone with his realness I wanted to be coached by him as I progressed but his kind words and motivation was all I needed ... Much love your truly missed ...

    John has helped me figure out why I kept injuring myself, especially during chest exercises. Every time I work out I think about all the tips he shared. Miss you brother

      Same here, my elbows were killing me, adopted his approach of thorough warmups and dropping some weight but using more reps, I can work triceps again.

    Always enjoy the way he speaks to you about training he speaks to you like its OK to do your best and not pressure you into lifting and make u feel uncomfortable great teacher in bodybuilding shame he died but always use his techniques when training r.i.p mountain dog

    Such a smart individual. Every exercise has a technique used. Constant tension for the first few then he switches to a more contraction focused technique. That alone changes everything up along with the working up with warm ups to 2 solid ass working sets... perfect storm for muscle building..or breakdown and your building is your rest and consistent eating of meals..however you want to look at it... Rest in peace JM!

    I am relatively new to weightlifting, but in the past 2 years my RUclips Mount Rushmore has become Dr. Mike Israetel of RP, Jeff Nippard, Jeff Cavaliere, and the late John Meadows. Each offers great content in different ways and I am thankful to all of them for helping me get through a very difficult time.

    I can’t use a barbell for chest and my gym only goes up to 75 lb dumbbells. I can definitely go up to 120 lbs but it’s not available to me. Kinda sucks I’m stuck at this plateau… guess I’ll just go for 15-20 reps

    The saying is true that the good ones always get taken way too early while the ones who should have been gone years ago are still annoying us today lol that's too negative I apologize John is missed by many but not more than by his close friemds and family.     what if we emphasise the negative if we dont have higher weights, like 3-4 seconds a rep in eccentric phase? Would that could as a progressive overload?

    95% of the time dumbbells only for me ion my gaRAge gym ( thanksfully i bought 5-85 lb 35 years ago. ) slowly added up to 150's
