I want to thank you very much for sharing your talents with us. I made this ear warmer for myself and I love how it turned out. You had talked a little too fast for me. I had to keep watching the video and work with you. But thank goodness for the pause and rewind button. I finally got it right 👍🏽😁. Now to make my mini me 👩🏻 whose 4 months one too😍❤️❤️❤️ It’ll look gorgeous with her thick hair 😉😀💕I found you on IG too. I love your gorgeous work. Keep up the awesome work and sharing. Hi Kay I absolutely LOVE this pattern but I found it hard to follow because you crocheted too fast and didn’t show the “V” stitch or arrow enough times for me to “get it”. I wish you had shown it at least three or four more times so that the repetition is plainly seen. Also because the yarn was so dark it was hard to see or rather harder to follow. I will continue to watch it over and over until I figure it out because it is GORGEOUS!!!! And I just love it. Is there a written pattern we can pull on line to help??Thank you for sharing such a beautiful pattern using chunky yarn.

It is so nice you share your patterns for free, however, some of us need the pattern written down. You are working too fast even with stopping and starting the video all the time, which is a bit of a pain. A written pattern would be so nice for us who go slower in our crocheting.

If I heard you correctly (music was distracting, but I have listened to this several times) . Row 1: SC in the first 3, CH 1, SK the next (which is where the TR goes in Rw 3. Then SC in the remaining chains.// So wherer exactly did the second chain hole get placed for the second TR in row 3? Please unconfuse me. Thank you. Blessings

Row 2 requires you to place a stitch into the ch 1 space (which is created in row 1).....but if you are repeating rows 2 & 3 how do you work into a ch 1 space that isnt there?
Wouldnt you have to repeat rows 1-3 in order to get the arrows on the same side?
I'm on the struggle bus with this one because repeating rows 2 & 3 only is making my arrows end up on opposite sides.
How did the people who say this pattern worked get around not repeating row 1?

I did enjoy your video. Though it could use a little more patience for the viewers to follow your steps, along with going through steps 2 and 3 a few more times instead of fast forwarding to the end. Plus, it would have been more efficient if you had used a lighter color of yarn instead of the gray. Overall, I enjoyed your video and I'm currently on making this ear warmer right now.

You're right!!! Thought I was going nuts!!! Maybe we have to do rows 1, 2, 3 till desired length, otherwise there is no space to make arrow. Gonna try that now. Well that didn't work either, I was on the backside when I needed to be on the front to make the arrow. UGH!

    • @danabare7061

I don't know why I'm having so much trouble with this pattern. I've watched the video and crocheted along. I can't see where you're putting your hook. Needs to be closer. And if I skip stitches for the triple and the ch1, I come up 2 chains short. I thought this was going to be an easy pattern and I'm totally frustrated. Ripped it out several times. Wish I could see the repeat and where to put the hook in the second arrow.

Hello, like others, the music was drowning out your voice. Not to mention too fast paced and anxiety producing.. Geezus, had to watch over 10 times to figure this out, ripped out maybe 15 times. Am not an amateur so was quite annoying. I don't have a large head so was surprised to use entire skein for one headband. Maybe two yards left over. Used Aspen tweed yarn by Lion Brand. Very pretty however. Thank you for making the video for us, nice design, unisex too, even better. Oh and super warm!!

@@KayKrochets I'm reading all the comments after watching and before I would begin. I do that with every video just in case.
Personally based on my skill level (I'm 54 and been crocheting since I was 8 but self taught watching my grandma so I don't always know what a stitch is called but pick it up extremely easily if I see it made since I'm a visual learner), the speed (I realize I can slow it down and I did but I just couldn't see what you were doing well enough), and the yarn color I'm not going to try it. I saw you comment on numerous others comments 5 months ago that you were/are making another tutorial for this pattern but I haven't found it yet if it's up. Hope you do read this comment.
