You lost me at row 2. (7:50). I have tried but it just looks like a knotted mess and I cannot see where the stitches are that you are talking about. Still glad you did the video but I cant imagine I'm alone with how confused I was.... Do you have a written pattern anywhere we can look at?

Me too, so frustrating. I tried to identify the stitches with stitch markers but still wasn’t able to do it.

Maybe you can first try it with a thicker yarn just to practice to see the stitches better.
