I NEVER would've thought of that zig zag! Genius!
Love this pattern for the ear warmer!!
Sarah Peck It made so much sense and it makes it so much more comfy. I'm so glad you enjoy!
Love this headband. I have never felt the need to do a headband but this is so nice I am going to find a reason. It's simply the prettiest one I've seen. You are such a good instructor also it makes it easy to follow.
Pat Murray l.p.
Awesome! Very easy to follow. Thank you so much for this :)
Marissa Flores Thank you for watching!
these kinds of headbands are quite popular nowadays, and i was looking for some online. they're around 10-15 dollars! i didn't want to spend that much for something i could make for free. i read and watch numerous videos, but your tutorial was the easiest to follow and i prefer this kind of design! i JUST finished one and i'm so proud and happy with my results since this is the first crochet project i've completed! thank you so much! :)
So easy to follow along with you -- Thanks for that ! And you are just as cute as can be ! Modeling your headband :-) Made me smile !
Linda Lou Hahaha! Awww, thank you!!!
I was going to say the same exact thing......She's adorable ! ....and a patient teacher who is clear and goes slow so it's really easy to follow.
I agree 😊💟
It's super easy to make. Instructions were simple and precise. Made my first ear warmer 👍
Yeahhhhh! I finally finished it! Thank you Lee for an Amazing Earwarmer pattern, I love it!

Thank you for the tutorial. I really like the moss stitch, I don't think I've ever done that one in all my many, many years of crocheting. Well done! :D

Missalanaclaire I'm glad you did too! Have fun and I hope it comes out perfect!
I loved following you on this tutorial. Just want to know what size hook you use. Again, thank you for this tutorial. You are an excellent instructor.
This is so cute!! I am going to make some of these for myself and for some gifts :) I've always thought these bow ones were very cute, but never had a pattern to make one and thought the bow would be too fat like you said it would be in the video if you didn't do that zig zag chain to attach the ends, so I never made one! Now that I know all I have to do is that zig zag chain thing, I'm going to make a bunch of 'em!! Thanks!!
babylover0990 Thank you so much for watching. I'm glad that you're able to make gifts with this tutorial! I'm even more glad that you can make something for yourself!
Omg! I've been crocheting for about 2 months now and did not know that fancy trick to threading a needle. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. Haha I just subscribed. :)
Jessica Garcia Any little trick I've got up my sleeve I'll eventually put into a video. Thank you for subscribing!

I bet you did great!
GREAT Tutorial, thank you very much for explaining it all in detail, I haven't been crocheting very long, but this was really easy to make
Marie Martinez It's pretty straight forward, thankfully. I don't like to teach beginners anything that's too difficult. Thank you so much for watching!
So far I am 2 minutes in and already I love your tutorial. I would say that I am an experienced to a point crocheter haha. I taught myself on a whim late last December. I would like to know what yarn you used it looks lovely. :)
This was the Caron One Pound acrylic. After you wash it it becomes very soft and fuzzy. I love it!
Cool so you wash before you use it. I always wash after, but have considered washing first before.
I wash after.
FABULOUS tutorial! You do an absolutely amazing job of explaining things! (Quite a talent to have...) I made this earwarmer for my sister-in-law, and it turned out amazing. I know she'll love it - thanks!
+Macy H Awesome! I'm sure she will, you made it with your own hands and handmade gifts are the best.

it's lovely thank you
LOVE THIS VIDEO! Thanks so much for posting! Definitely going to try this soon :-)
+Alondra Bianey Have fun with it!
I'm looking forward to trying this i haven't been crocheting very long only made 3 things so far and you make this look so very easy what colors do you recommend for beginners like myself thank you
Colors shouldn't matter. Whatever you like will do
I found it easy to use bright colours for the first few projects just coz it makes the stitches easier to see, especially if you are tight crocheter
That makes sense!
Katrina, I would not use a dark color. It is very hard to see what stitch you're working into when working with dark yarn.
thank u for tutorial.:)
Sweet 🍄🌲🍁🍂
Lovely thankyou
Is an all acrylic yarn comfortable to wear? Iwas wondering if my cheaper Red Heart would be okay for this. Very nice video. Thank you!
I actually tried it but didn’t like how stiff the finished headband felt. I am wondering if it was my tension (I tend to crochet tight) or the #4 yarn I used. Bummed because I really like the stitch.
Using a very soft yarn and a bigger hook should help if your tension is very tight. I know mine is!
i love this so much! I'm 16 and I love to crochet and this was so easy and cute, I made for my sister and it only took a couple hours of my time! Thanks for this.
Angel Moore Make some for Christmas gifts! Handmade gifts are the best!
Your work is really good. For this project how long did it take you and how many bundles of yarn did you use?
Awesome tutorial.. lovely pattern.. I loved the zig-zag idea.. thank u so much!!
You're very welcome!
Love the tutorial but where do I find the pattern please
I just made this headband for my little girl to match her scarf and it is so cute 😍😍😍 thank u Xx
I really really really love this vid although done lots of Crochet it's been mainly treble stitch and now branching out whooo so wanted to try your moss stitch then I realised I had the wrong hook haha when you say worsted you mean double knit? Anyway thank you for the headband I want to make one for myself at the join a Crochet flower would look nice too anyway I keep watching you I'll get there keep on doing videos absolutely brilliant 😘
Thank you so much for the lovely compliment. I'm glad you found it helpful and I thank you for watching,
Stitch stitch boom is great catcher name. I'll b subscribing. Thanks for your time and talent
thank you
you explained it very clear! thank you for this video :)
Well done tutorial, I've made three already. Have to agree with others, this is a beautiful pattern. I've never thought of doing a slip stitch and half double crochet together to make a pattern. I've only used a slip stitch to join. NICE!
Lynda Hermes Thank you so much for the comment! I love making these as gifts. They're so easy and effortless! Glad you enjoyed!
this was awesome! just finished mine and it turned out great! thank you!
Bailey Schmid Thank you for watching! I'm so glad you liked it.
This is so great! I'm a newbie that can't read patterns and I don't know many stitches. I was able to whip this up, no problem (other than keeping my rows even, oops)! My 5 year old daughter thinks I'm the coolest! ~ Kristyn ~
David Studebaker That's awesome! I've has so many emails from beginners not understanding this pattern. I'm glad that you didn't have trouble!
When you are done making the length and do the slip stich at the end...Do you slip stich both ends or just the end that you are finishing off?
+Sami Pinzon Just the end that you're finishing :)
how much yarn did you buy? and what brand did you buy? Which store did you buy it at?
this is my first time doing a legitimate project with an actual purpose with crocheting and so I am very nervous. But I feel like you explain the stitches and all parts of the process really well so I am hoping that it will turn out well!
Naomi Benatar This was from a One Pound skein from Caron. Its a huge skein and I used it for many different projects. I believe I bought it at Michael's. I hope you are able to make this and I hope it comes out fantastic! Email me with any questions!
Stitch Stitch Boom Okay. Thanks. I got a big thing and it turned out to be enough. There was a ton left over so I made matching mittens and there is still some left over!
The one pound skeins are good for multiple projects!
Thank you so much you are like the first project that I have totally finished and it was so fun!! Everyone it's going to get one as Xmas present saves me some moneyyy!!! How can I share pictures with you ?
Angela Barreiro Awesome! you can post them to my Facebook page or tag me in your posts in instagram!
What a great channel you have! I like your work a lot, and your instructions are very well done. I am looking forward to a written pattern for this ear warmer. I am not always able to refer to a RUclips video while working on something.
Kathryn Campbell Soon my blog will have patterns!
Awesome headband Boom, I watched it all the way through. I can't wait to make my granddaughter some. Thank you
Shelia Wilson I hope she loves them!
Hello i am mexican, I live in Aguascalientes México, headband is beautiful, thanks you for the tutorial, God Bless you.
+eliana guizado Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed. Bless you as well.
Oh, I am so happy with my new ear warmer that I just finished making and just in time too because it's getting very cold here in NY. Loved your easy-to-follow instructions.
LOVE the idea with chaining four and zig zagging it! ive done it before without that and its so bulky and weird looking on the top!! THANKS
+Maddie Martin It really does make it easier to wear on your forehead!
Thank you for sharing your pattern, I love the texture. I made one in blue and love it. Next I will make a scarf to match......Thanks again!
Enid Sayegh Thank you so much for watching my tutorial. Enjoy your headband and scarf set!!!
Great tutorial, easy to follow! I've made two of them! I made the second one for my 7 yr old granddaughter. I made it a little more narrow by chaining 13 instead of the 19. They both turned out beautifully!
Thanks so much!
I'm working on this right now! Making one for my sister and baby nieve... I'll share on IG when in done. 😆
Ahhh love this! Making one for my sister, this is just her style. Does your forehead get cold with the cinch? I've never had an ear warmer that doesnt just sit flat but this is so cute!
+Shannon Sabino I mostly use them for my ears. I have thin ears and they get cold very easily!
So cute and not hard! Now, I know the Moss stitch, too. Thanks! Great tutorial. :) I'm be trying this soon.
I started doing this pattern but some how the edges where not coming out right :( but i will keep trying till I get it right...your awesome loved your video.
***** Remember to chain an even number plus 1 more for your turning chain, make your first slip stitch into the 2nd chain from the hook followed by a hdc stitch in the next. You should start every row with a slip stitch and end every row with a hdc.
Thank you so much for this video. It was easy to follow and modify - I used a thicker yarn, bigger hook, and it turned out great!
+dmcpht yeah, you kinda can't go wrong! Glad you liked it!
I love your video I been looking for one and this is perfect and my little cousin totally loved it thanks
DarkAlexa33 Thank you!!!
Beautiful! I didn't know it would be so easy! You are a great teacher. Thanks so much!
+Sharon Strong Thank you so much!

Great video! Very good explanations. Thankyou for sharing this beautiful project
+dorisdmw daddelt Thank you so much. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
It looks elegant ... 👸👰
But this is the first time i do crochet head bands .... so it looks hard ...
Wish me luck🙇🙇🙇
Sara Al-Banna Did you get through it ok? It's really simple once you get the hang of it!
I made this and it turned out wonderful but the band width is too large for my head. Would you suggest chaining only 17 or 15 to start instead?
+Karena Huff Absolutely! Chain any even number +1 turning chain.

+MicheleE1963 I always give mine away too. But I will make myself a few. It's chilly out there!
I love this. And the fingerless mitts. So cute. Your stitches are so beautiful. I've been crocheting for 50 years and mine do not look anywhere near as neat as yours. Thanks for the tutorial!
