    Love this headband. I have never felt the need to do a headband but this is so nice I am going to find a reason. It's simply the prettiest one I've seen. You are such a good instructor also it makes it easy to follow.

    these kinds of headbands are quite popular nowadays, and i was looking for some online. they're around 10-15 dollars! i didn't want to spend that much for something i could make for free. i read and watch numerous videos, but your tutorial was the easiest to follow and i prefer this kind of design! i JUST finished one and i'm so proud and happy with my results since this is the first crochet project i've completed! thank you so much! :)

    This is so cute!! I am going to make some of these for myself and for some gifts :) I've always thought these bow ones were very cute, but never had a pattern to make one and thought the bow would be too fat like you said it would be in the video if you didn't do that zig zag chain to attach the ends, so I never made one! Now that I know all I have to do is that zig zag chain thing, I'm going to make a bunch of 'em!! Thanks!!

      I found it easy to use bright colours for the first few projects just coz it makes the stitches easier to see, especially if you are tight crocheter

  • @DOMINICANASOY121107

    I actually tried it but didn’t like how stiff the finished headband felt. I am wondering if it was my tension (I tend to crochet tight) or the #4 yarn I used. Bummed because I really like the stitch.

    • @stitchstitchboom
      @stitchstitchboom  4 года назад

      Using a very soft yarn and a bigger hook should help if your tension is very tight. I know mine is!

      +Shannon Sabino I mostly use them for my ears. I have thin ears and they get cold very easily!

      ***** Remember to chain an even number plus 1 more for your turning chain, make your first slip stitch into the 2nd chain from the hook followed by a hdc stitch in the next. You should start every row with a slip stitch and end every row with a hdc.

    Thank you so much for this video. It was easy to follow and modify - I used a thicker yarn, bigger hook, and it turned out great!

    I made this and it turned out wonderful but the band width is too large for my head. Would you suggest chaining only 17 or 15 to start instead?

      +Karena Huff Absolutely! Chain any even number +1 turning chain.

    I love this. And the fingerless mitts. So cute. Your stitches are so beautiful. I've been crocheting for 50 years and mine do not look anywhere near as neat as yours. Thanks for the tutorial!
