New stoke patient here!!!Just recovering from my stroke 3 weeks ago still in rehab have therapy everyday trying to get balance back..any tips would be great still in hospital wondering about life at home with no nurses around for release date date and now doing reaearch and getting into onwaking aids and home therapy ❤❤❤❤

After my stroke I was as weak and unsteady as a newborn. So I went right back to basics, literally. I started to crawl like a baby and once I could stand up if somewhat unsteady, I bounced up and down like babies on the spot and squatted llike a toddler repeatedly do to strengthen their legs. Now I walk unaided, I have coordination and strength back in my arms. My speech is no longer slurred. I do exercises each morning without overdoing it. But I am not fully recovered.
It was so helpful!! And what a kind and smooth guiding voice ! Thank you a lot from Italy

Is it every time that is too late for someone to start? I have a friend whose post stroke is 10 years. I'm trying to encourage him to get up and work. His excuse well one excuse is it's to late. I tell him over and over it's not to late and yes it will be harder. NEVER TO LATE

Good exercise. My leg feels like I'm lifting 100-pound weight when I lift it up.
Very good instruction, My father had stroke around 6 years ago, After getting physeotherapy for a long time he can walk now with a support of stick, but after walking for a while he feel numbness on his leg, especially in glutious maximus area.
Please suggest an exercise for glutious maximus.

Unfortunately these exercises are too difficult for those who have weakness on one side?
Believe in yourself, believe, turn your hand with a barbell in all directions, turn your head, your leg, turn everything slowly, gently, turns while standing, lying on a treatment bed, while sitting on a chair, bending, turning your hand, and with God's help, victory will come!
Believe, believe in recovery, it will come, it takes years, recovery can be done decades after the event.
My recommendation is to put a dumbbell on the arm and leg in order to get a stretch.
Make circular movements of the hands, legs, head. Gentle circular movements in all positions standing, sitting, lying down.
Transfer weight to the injured leg, climb stairs with the injured leg.
Sleep on a hard surface.

I am stroke 15months alreadyvbut my left leg and hand ar astill weak..how can i do this kind of exercise?
Will this get rid of the obvious limp I have?
I am nursing home resident small stroke here ten plus years love I pad videos on nearly all things strokes relationslove dating cars any how I want more rehabilitation tries they will not do or even look at on iPad I believe mucho could be done more well now my left leg is worse how it feel as I sit on toilet get up down on bed wheel chair I am not expert on this but know something is not nicer the years here if I could go out I would have senorita drive me to places for mucho opions am I getting care here I say we’ll not enough try’s now as sad left side leg now stroke was left side
i downloaded this but after 2 days doing this, my muscles got stiff espeecially at the back of the knee. and almost all the muscles relative to the exercise. is daily rcommended? how much is enough? my stroke is milder than most. i can walk about a 100 meters but, i drag my weak side. still correcting it ergo watching videos

It is hard exercise if still weak
Maybe I repeat myself enough first to say once in viet nam I drank beer soda us army veteran we had our time off from unloading war supplies evening shift so we went to see orientals show drinking very cold soda beer and next 4 days in bed throwing up sick ate very little then after then I was drunk at an amigos home drove a mile home nearly put my car into neighbors fence on their side of my dads driveway ever since then I have not had any alcohol drugs at all but at church communion just a drop of wine remember we are all human beings who are all different in our abilities using taking drugs medicine side effects an ex amigo had the worst stomach troubles from aspirin epolilic spelling attacks fell broken nose alcohol just a small bit even sugars sweeteners are no good for me if sugars are very for us why is nearly all things sold in supermarkets sugar sugar or artificial colorings what ever has become of all natural foods or volks people who mucho of try and impress those unknown to then or cared about how dressed I love seen on this I pad mucho well said no matter who wears any kind of styles of clothes or sex labled until volks are known nicer than just first seeing outside looks who can tell correctly their personalities are they good bad ugly treat us all decently or what as is my relations 34plus half years with senorita besides amigos being our real selves natural not as tv show the honeymooners was just a bus driver Ralph kramden all in our lives high or low class matters so does respect fos us all so what if I am pink not white or negro dark skin only color red indians our values priorities are so mucho wrong it was seen on I pad if a male person doesnot spend 75 to 100 $$$$$$dinero first date or he should not be dating I say mucho no way just a nice simple tea coffee lite meal bagels it takes time to get to know each other likes dislikes or if second time one date first then four more senorita said donot call busy for awhile we’ll I called some one says o you donot know she see someone every Saturday evening what ever has become of old fashioned honesty reality mucho things in this world insane society are the same but different our clothes human beings bodies males females automobiles employment jobs our neighborhoods where we work live countries customs foods music yearly events languages or mucho I can not say enough of what I have learned from I pad use or just my daily outside doings business just walking around shopping whatever else enjoy yourselves have a nice day if possible and basically best to mind your own business unless as I would if I saw problems things needed to be called to properly volks
