Great encouragement to retrain our affected hands. Over time our affected hands and arms get LAZY. We can bring them back. It just takes work. Thank you
How I wish I'd seen this channel 3 years ago, after I got discharged back home after icu post stroke. I'm 42 now. Had a Right haemorrhagic stroke (right side of the brain) with left side hemiplegia. I can walk alright, though it's not very aesthetic.,but I can hardly use the upper limb.
Thanks for sharing. Please make video for supination and how to get combine movement better and protocol for that.also facing difficulty in wrist side movement
If pateint is having spasticity and his arms are always in adducted position and fingers are flexed all the time..how can we introduce these exercises ??
Thank you so much for sharing the above Unfortunately my left arm is very weak. Top of it fingers curl up. How do I go about overcoming the problem. Thank you
I have being going through physical therapies and mostly preventive medications since I had an massive ischemic brain stroke back in 20q5 resulting in left sided hemiplegia. Now its feel like I am stuck. My physical condition is neither detetiorating, nor improving. Physical therapy with electrical stimulation is going on, but I got developed artherities in pectoral & pelvic gardel including entire vertibrae. Just wanted to know if there is any medicine svailable that can increase neuroplasticity, reduce spasticity and resulting in expedite the recovery.
I have same exact problem left side deficit. Basically have no movement besides spastic movement outwards but grip or inward control nothing. Need to start somewhere so please help. L
