Really good to know. Many thanks for sharing I generally eat very healthy and am 100% alcohol free. I consistently do regular cardio and resistance training. So it was quite the shocker for me when my most recent blood test revealed mildly elevated liver enzymes 😮. I am scheduled for an abdominal ultrasound in 2 weeks to confirm if my liver is inflamed.Based on the research on milk thistle. I started supplementing with a supplement that contains a combination of milk thistle, dandelion powder, and turmeric. It allegedly takes 3 weeks to work, but my ultra sound is in two weeks . I also started consuming dandelion tea which I brew with my morning coffee. Fingers crossed, it help addresses the issue and ultrasound assessment is good. 🙏 Diet, and exercise wise I cannot do anything more. I am eating healthy(no refined carbs or ultraprocessed foods, never had to take tylenol). I am and have consistently consumed all foods known to be good for liver. I am also not obese and have not gained a ton of fat since I had the blood test and shocking blood test results.

      1. You may be interested in research such as this onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ptr.3207
      2. Metabolising caffeine disturbs blood sugar regulation by the liver, which is undesirable. In high concentrations (notably energy drinks), caffeine can be harmful to the liver. There are many caffeine-free ways to support liver function, without risking negative side issues.
