Many people have a fatty liver and don’t even know it. Today I want to help you better understand the liver and how to remove fat from the liver.
The purpose of the liver is to break down toxins into harmless particles.
A fatty liver can become heavy and enlarged. This can lead to fullness under the right rib cage and shoulder pain.
    Important functions of the liver:
    • It makes bile
    • It helps convert thyroid hormones
    • It buffers excess sex hormones
Bile is made by the liver, and it helps you break down fat. A lack of bile can lead to a lot of various health problems. Bile is also very important to keep fat out of the liver. Anything you can do to help increase bile reserves will help you remove liver fat. You may even want to take purified bile salts.
Keep in mind that the ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting can help remove fat from the liver. I believe this is essential if you have a fatty liver.
A great shake to keep fat off the liver:
    Ingredients (organic if possible):
    • 2 cups kale (frozen)
    • 1 cup blueberries (frozen)
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 cup plain whole-milk kefir (organic and grass-fed if possible)
    Instructions:
Blend all of the ingredients in a blender for a couple of minutes. Drink once a day in combination with a Healthy Keto diet and intermittent fasting.

And since he mentioned "whole milk", which is the type of milk that the fat wasn't removed, maybe choose a nut milk that contains some fat. Opposite to a rice milk that would not have as much fat. Could you please make a video on how a disfunctional liver, even in a slim person, can lead to hormonal imbalances (tyroid, gonads, adrenals, iipofisis, pineal gland...) and also create a cascade of postural asymmetries (maybe non visible but interal for sure) on the right side of the body from neck to hip. And how this creates mental confusion, aggressivness, anger, fear, stress and cortisol to go up. Especially in women as they follow a monthly cycle and their hormone fluctuate continuously. Update: I no longer have a fatty liver. My test showed “NO EVIDENCE OF STEATOSIS”. I think what contributed to my healing was a combination of a strict keto diet, some OMAD here and there, intermittent fasting 18:6, only organic nutrient dense foods, losing all of my belly fat. Not that I was fat, I was 115 pounds at the time and now I’m 105. I also took bile salts, vitamin D, ate eggs every morning for the choline in them, ate cruciferous vegetables everyday, kept insulin very low, kept blood sugar low, milk thistle tea everyday, apple cider vinegar everyday day after meals or whenever I had liver pain because it was anti inflammatory, ate a lot of avocado because they protect the liver also because I just love them. Fatty fish for the omega 3s, sprinkled turmeric on my foods, lots of leafy greens. Stayed away from toxins, even lipstick and makeup, perfumes, toxic personal care products, I also drank this shake a lot. But I think the most powerful things were just doing strict keto and intermittent fasting. Very powerful those two.

Another great video... they're all great. However, as a nutritional therapist I do have some questions about freezing the Kale for the liver cleansing shake. The reason Kale is one of my favorite foods has to do with it's density of certain nutrients, mainly vitamin K and C, but equally as important, the glucosinolates and other amazing phytonutrients. I wonder if it would be better to blend the kale raw for the shake, particularly because of the glucosinolates? It seems freezing the kale wouldn't degrade the vitamins C and K to any significant degree, but it would seem to degrade the glucosinolates, especially by way of an enzyme in the kale called myrosinase, which catalyzes the conversion of glucoraphanin into sulforaphane. I just wonder if having the frozen blueberries, with the kefir, but mix the kale in raw to preserve the potential benefits of the phytonutrients?

I went from 67kg down to my normal weight which is between 50-55kg. It was awesome. I'm happily following him up until now with more education about myself especially my health issues growing up. I know all about what you’re speaking Dr. Berg I have had a Puestowe (pancreas cancer surgery) on my pancreas, which not very many people live from and I’ve had a Whipple done on my pancreas, which some people live some don’t so they took out my gallbladder as well. I had stage two pancreatitis for the Whipple and stage one Aidenocarcinoma for the Puestowe both which I survived these two pancreatic surgeries. I literally was airlifted from my home, woke up five days later in critical care life support ICU at Stanford. I am here today because I changed my diet way before I ever knew about keto or carnivore. I have been eating a keto diet for 10 years which actually saved my life.
I had to change the way I ate and saw Food because I believe as a retired nurse there’s no such thing as a magic pill and they’re never never will be the only magic is how you see your foods and how your nutrients and basic fundamentals that you need to learn from everything you put into your mouth every day For the rest of your life. Thanks Doc 👍🏼💞
I am working on writing a book what I discovered from cancer treatments to what people need to learn about their health how they see food exercise fasting once you’re done eating if you’re not hungry, why are you eating because the clock tells you to that’s not true we’ve all been indoctrinated to eat breakfast luncheon dinner many don’t need that kind of food so all this is going in my book but I do agree with a lot of the things are saying about the liver and the pancreas
I take pancreatic enzymes called CREON And this medicine has lipase and Amalayse to help me break down foods. I’ve also found that eating fresh pineapple and papaya. Has it bromine enzymes that also help break down your food, which is excellent in a nice smoothie. Thank you for all your help and I shall continue to listen and learn from you.
Lastly I got stage 4 Thyroid cancer and won that battle as well but I truly must be careful what I literally eat daily or my body becomes boarder line diabetic….so far my sugars stay at 101-108 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism (TSH 14 mcIU/ml) two months back. Decided to go Dr. Berg's way but could not do complete keto because I am a vegetarian (not vegan). 8 weeks into my diet my TSH is now 3.9. No triglycerides, LDL and total cholesterol is up but expected. Thanks a ton for saving me. I am just 35.

I have hypothyoroid as well since 4 y. I started a few days back keto. I have a-tpo around 200. I have a lot of side effects of thyroxine. In august i stopped medication, and all side effects disappeared. Only my t4 went from 16 to 8.. and tsh climbed to 20. I got an other clinic and they gave me tirosint, but within an hour i felt reaction in my body because it container thyroxine... coming week i get a phonecall from this docter and will talk it over. I felt better without medication. But i dont want damage my body if all thyoroid hormones get bad...

@@Jimmi361 i eat twice a day between 12- 19. I am already never hungry. Normally i ate 2 slices of bread with sausage or cheese plus green on top. Evening vegetables, meat, potato. Or what ever i cook. I never use sugar in my drinks for years... juices or limonades no to sweet. Herbtea i drink. So it is already very basic. Sometimes i thought i eat not enough maybe...
But my long term sugarlevel always 43-46. I had several scans to they saw a fatty liver. I knew about convertion t4-t3.
I walk every day outside. Etc etc
My hypothyoroid came since a relationship break up. It was very traumatic for me. I accepted it but still not getting better. Before i was always healthy, enegenic, slim...now gained 12 kg, feel not myself.
I had lots of side effects of levothyroxine teve 75mcg. Since i stopped in august all side effects are gone. Now my t4 went to 8....so got tirosint 25mcg. But it contains thyroxine...straitgh away within 1 hour i felt my body reacting. About 2 days i get phonecall from docter then talk about it.
Do you use medication? No side effects?
During 3 months not using it i felt much better...only bloodtest give other result
If i leave pills away, maybe i get other problems on the long term?

Two hours ago,i came across one of your previous videos talking about it ,and what a perfect timing for this one, everything makes sens now!
Please what should I do as a test to confirm that I have liver or Gallbladder problem ?
