You have to realize that the age of the Jedi was on brink of extinction over and over again thus those having the lack of training and experience to fight like they did before if you pay attention throughout all the films beside Vader and fallen Jedi in Canon it was a dead art, that's why in the war council of New Hope Imperial officers called it a dead religion and Vader was the only remnant of that remain

@@pumpkinkingca2010 I understand the lack of fight choreography in the OT given that lightsaber fighting was a lost art, however ST doesn’t get that leeway. Luke studied for years after the OT, he had students, a school, he was training Leia. He knew of the other forms. Ben Solo would have know something lore than swing and stab. No real excuse about the sequel trilogy fight choreography.

The armor he has on is Cortossis. It's not even a debate because Cortossis can actually short lightsabers out for a bit, which we do see here. And actually is a close contender to Beskar in terms of its protection. Like if a lightsaber is powerful enough and doesn't short out it immediately could cut through Cortossis. It's just that like I said Cortossis is pretty damn tough and a close contender to Beskar.
Additional fact the Electrostaffs used by Magnaguards are actually plated with Phrik. Which is rare and tough and resistant to Lightsabers. Keyword is resistant as eventually it will wear away and can be cut by lightsabers.

It is literally explained in The Last Jedi that the Force strives for a balance between the Light and the Dark Side. If there are 5000 users of the Light Side and only 1 user of the Dark, that one user will be 5000 times stronger than each individual Light Side user. That being said, when the Dark Side user becomes dominant, the Force strives for a counterbalance in an exceptionally skilled Light Side user.
Because Jedi act as an order, whereas the Sith operate only as a pair, the Force significantly favors the pair more because the Force strives for a perfect balance. It's one of the more interesting ideas of TLJ entirely thrown away in ROS

That kind of makes the force a tad… Scary. You’re basically saying, by this stated logic, that _The Force Itself_ wants a forever war between good and evil, and it will actively empower the weaker side to achieve its desired “Balance”, even at the cost of ruining countless lives. It’s basically like Kronika’s idea of a “Perfect” timeline in Mortal Kombat where Good and Evil are literally even in power and are locked into eternal conflict.
But I guess that’s why the franchise is called _”Star _*_WARS”,_* isn’t it?

That’s incorrect. George Lucas explained that balance of the Force means eliminating the darkside. He stated that the Sith or Darksider users needed to die in order for the Force to be balanced because only the light side is balance. He said that the Dark Side is a cancer on the Force. That’s why the Prophecy refers to the Chosen One (Anakin) destroying the Sith and restoring Balance to the Force.
In 2010, George Lucas said that true balance is light side harmony and eliminating the Dark Side forever. So what you said is wrong. The Force cannot be balanced if the Dark Side exists. I don’t know why fans failed to understand what balance of the Force means when George Lucas explained it a hundred times. You can google his quotes on it.

Yeah, that was my main criticism of the lightsaber choreography of Nick Gillard in the Prequels. He focused TOO MUCH on the lightsabers and not enough on the wielders. A lot of Prequels battles look like they're aiming for each other's sabers instead of trying to hit their opponent. Thid battle took the best of the Prequels era fights and combined it with the weightiness and deliberate nature of Originals and Sequels fights. The Originals and Sequels fights made them feel like they're actually aiming for their opponent, but also made the lightsabers seem too heavy and clunky. Like they're wielding a heavy-ass Claymore or something. I think this fight and the Ahsoka fights in my opinion are the best mix. The agility and athleticism mixed with actually going for your opponent instead of showing off how deftly you can spin your sword.

the Sith grew stronger, but that's not a linear thing. there are so many ways to be strong with the dark side. I say he has a very real shot against Dooku or Vader, and an outside chance against Sidious on Qimir's very best day.
The Sith getting stronger with every generation does not mean that each Sith beats all of the earlier ones in every situation. This dude very clearly trained to specifically kill Jedi with his own blades, he would do well against former Jedi, and anyone who leaned on similar skills. even Sidious, this guy might have a chance because Sidious is powerful as hell, but personal combat is not his focus

Bad characters and writing. It’s pretty obvious when you watch the shows and movies idk why you’re so confused.
However, I have to acknowledge when they did something good. And they COOKED with the lightsaber choreography. Idk why it took so long for them to get it right again.

Disney simps. Look closely and you'll see most of this is just swinging in the air. The Jedi aren't even trying to hit him or his saber. Like they're swinging over each other's heads.

Disney simps for sure. IDK how anyone can say a fight that's blocked by trees is great choreography. You don't even see how half the guys die. It's pretty awful 😂
