The show is called Superman and Lois. It’s not called Clark and Lois, so if it ends with him not having his powers and just being a normal bloke it just makes no sense. It doesn’t fit with what the show actually is.

I reckon he gets Doomdays‘s heart. Probably Doomsday gives it up or something like that. There’s no way the show can end with him not being superman and a fully powered superman that would just make no sense.

Why do people say that he should get his original heart? Him losing powers makes way more sense - the show is ending, so they wrap it up nicely. His sons will take over from him, and he will simply age together with his wife.

This makes no sense. For starters, he doesn’t have powers. His body uses solar radiation to do things that seem like powers. Secondly, how is having a human heart cause his body to stop processing solar radiation?

I feel like this will end similar to All-Star Superman, with Clark preparing the world for a life without Superman. While he slowly loses his powers, he needs to fill things off of his "bucket list," and in the end, he live a normal life, with Jon and Jordan taking up the responsibility he left after making the world a better place for them to be heroes.

I don't understand, we've already been shown Clark, who lost his powers and chose the path of his family (in Crisis on Infinite Earths) from the same channel, why repeat the same storyline? Moreover, the character himself doesn't want to do anything about it, he even refused to talk to his mother. I understand that the battle with Doomsday broke the character, but why doesn't he want to do anything about it? We were kind of shown this in the fortress, when he connected to his memories, but he decided to close himself off from it and the writers seemed to have forgotten about this moment. It feels like the script was hastily rewritten just to quickly close the series. I understand if they had revealed the reason for his fears, for example, he wants to grow old with his family so as not to lose them. But the reason that he is afraid and does not want to do anything with himself was never explained. Based on this, we can draw a plot conclusion that after the end of the series, we are left with the story that Clark lives with some kind of strong fear and loses his powers. This does not paint the series, at all. Bad plot. In TV series, characters work through their fears, but here everything is left to chance.

I hope they give Clark his heart back or maybe Doomsday's heart. I hate they try to pull this human mortal aspect on Superman.
