Here's a novel idea:
Bring the game to PC and the modders will show the devs all the changes they should be making for a more enjoyable experience.
If some modder can get it on PC and make PC users play a game that they enjoy I will be happy too
It's still weird how the other EA sports team games are on PC but not NHL.

Notice everything about this video was about offensive AI. Defense is still non-existent.

EA doesn't understand that when you neglect defense, it makes offense worse too.
The recent games have incentivized defenders to passively stand in front of the attacking players, without taking any risks such as going for poke checks or hits.
As a result, you get a game where you can't beat defenders with skill or deception, since the defenders just passively skate to where you're going and wait for their player to automatically pick the puck up.
I bet you still buy the game though

Heres what we want:
-New Commentators (bring back the mix of a canadian play-by-play guy and an american color commentator or vice versa)
-The All-Star game in franchise mode and BeAPro (just literally make it east vs west)
-Non generic goalie helmets or helmet customization
-Lets hear the proper goal song for the senators (song 2 by Blur) and other teams (folks list your teams goal song (or at least most played goal song)
This is really what we want to see...

Brought back L2ing and called it a day. This one has loads of potential to be worse than 23 and 24. This product is a slap in the face to fans.

People, stop asking for things that aren't breaking the game!
1) Ping Disparity - Address the xbox vs. playstation difference alongside the general server ping benefit one team usually gets
2) Neutered Defense - Give us stick lifts back. I noticed they magically started working again, so obviously there is awareness of the issue. Let's keep it this way. As for hitting, I appreciate that it's harder to hit, but sometimes it's downright ridiculous. I mean just brushing off someone?
3) Randomly Generated Events - Take out cross-checking, broken glass, and any other that can't be addressed by skill
4) Performance - Take out the stupid crowd extras. Focus on performance over something no one cares about. And while you're at it, clean up the interface. We don't need stats on every screen at all times.
5) Dont allow for complex maneuvers to be a single button press. Some things are ok, but the lacrosse deke isn't.
We might have to boycott this one.

EA I know for a fact you’re reading this. If you had an entire year of development and your biggest change was a few different skating animations, you have failed miserably. Stop the yearly releases of SLIGHTLY improved games

I've bought the game almost every year since NHL hockey for the genesis. Last year was AWFUL, buggy gaming, the presentation was hilariously bad...!!! Waiting for reviews for sure.

One can hope that maybe some year it's supported to PC and cross-play. After all PS4 & Xbox 360 is not supported for this game.
We have to just wonder how difficult it must be to transfer it :D Because in seriousness it can't be that hard if every other game can do it so easily.
With regard to the commentary, they should do what MLB The Show does by using actual real game commentary. It does not get anymore realistic than that plus is updated throughout the season. San Diego Studios is way ahead of EA here.
Don't let EA Sports Vancouver or the content creators fool you into thinking massive changes are coming in NHL 25. If you see "#EAPartner" in the description they were paid by EA to read a script of lies. Happens every year, yet people continue to buy the game and complain.
EA thank for fixing the goaltending issue, the offensive pressure issues, the poke checking not working issue, buffed X factor isssue, the passing and intercepting issue, updating be a pro, adding a winter classic and more stuff to the game, and lastly fixing the ai issue
Those should have been fixed in beta, no need to thank them for fixing a released broken game lol.

This game is way to focus on offense. They should add a way to make defensive gameplay more realistic and accessible.

Ive been playing this game since 96, the lack of respect to your core customers is hitting a breaking point.
At no point did anyone even remotley ask for these things that have already been in the game to be amplifyed.
1. Bring back GM connected
2. Faster loading times for games and menus
3. Innovate the game (in eashl) give the user the ability to use multiple builds, let them switch builds in real time like a line change...

Last year, they actually attempted to support the product for longer than a week after release. That was one step in the right direction.
However, they had a whole year to fix the plague of hip-checking in CHEL and still couldn't do it.
I'm spending my money elsewhere this year.

I’ve been playing nhl legency (2014?)for the past few months, it has better skating /hitting and the play by play commentary is identical if not 90+% the same as all new titles.. do something new, stop reusing everything jeez
unfortunately, they have no competitors, so they don't change the gameplay, but change it purely cosmetically, and sell it for 90 dollars, and think everyone around is an idiot, they didn't show the gameplay, and they already want pre-orders, only money comes first, and there has been no respect for many years for the fans of this game
