As someone who does goalie be a pro every year, I need to tell that no matter how much u want to DO NOT EDIT RUSTY AT ALL IN THE EDIT PLAYER SETTINGS! There’s a glitch that’s been in the game since nhl 21 that if u edit ur goalie be a pro, they get RESET to being a rookie. Doesn’t matter if u edit rusty during the year Or during the offseason, u get reset back to a rookie. Ur overall stays wherever u got it too, u keep ur unlocked X factors, and ur skill tree stays where at wherever u progressed to. But ur coach starts treating u like a rookie and ur forced to play back up minutes regardless if ur a 99 overall. U also get game decided colours for ur equipment after every season, which sucks the most. Please like this so nasher doesn’t accidentally get stuck as a rookie in be a pro 😭

@@Damphouse yes it’s such an insanely terrible glitch. I searched it up once when I had nhl 23 I believe and I found it existed in nhl 21. I tested it and whaddya know, it’s still in the game. This is literally the only reason I want change in be a pro, they’ve made it unplayable as a goalie

I play NHL 23 Goaltender BAP and I can verify all this. I'm a 99 overall and just won the Cup with the Kraken as a 29-year-old, yet throughout the season I was seeing cutscenes/hearing Cybulski segments about the fucking Calder.😂

It's a short cutscene, but they would still let you skip it, returning players don't want to watch the same cutscene years later

EA needs to do a whole rework of Be a Pro. I want to be able to join dozens of leagues such as NCAA, USHL, SHL, etc. Play from as young as possible giving the choice to play in the playoffs of high school prior to being drafted in to more junior leagues like the USHL, superelit, and other U20 European leagues. Play in the AHL and ECHL once drafted and not making the team, be brought up and sent down based on performance and have way more interactions between your player and other characters like the coach, GM and teammates.
That’s exactly what I want too. I would try my hardest to make it to he ahl in preseason and the coach is like, You are excellent! You made the team. I HAD LIKE 200 PIM IN LIKE 5 GAMES lol and no points
@@BengalsFan-z4qit is impossible to go down to the AHL if you make it to the NHL. It’s so stupid, I’ve tried a dozen ways and then eventually looked it up and sure enough, you can’t do it

I have loved your BAP series for as long as you have been doing it but I have to duck out for this one. Even as entertaining as you are, you can't make playing as a goalie entertaining enough to watch for me. Good luck on your goaltender run though! Look forward to when the league decides that Rusty is too valuable to the league as a skater despite his vicious injuries and change their minds.

Honestly, I love playing net in these games, but it's pretty damn jank in a lot of ways lol I'm excited to see how Rusty does between the pipes, but I'm also excited to see how you handle the agony and confusion of net in Chel lol
I love the series, but I got a tip for you. Playing all 3 periods will make ur save% atrocious no matter how good you are. Id recommended only playing the 3rd so the siim would start you off at around 20-30 shots against.
