The worst movies we watched weren't because of bad acting, bad writing, or just so full of bad effects that it was cringe; it was when the movies have long stretches of boring nothing.
To be honest I actually don't hate the sequel and this one is fine as mindless fun. Another good mindless fun movie with an underrated sequel is Crocodile. I'll die on the Death Swamp is a Banger hill
The first time I saw this movie was when I was 10 or 11 years old and I found it on Netflix's instant queue. I was mainly into dinosaur horror movies, but I thought that Octopus looked interesting enough (plus it was in my recommended)
So this is what happens when you cross a terrorist action thriller flick with the final scene from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. I'd rather go for The Rift, also known as Siren 1, which at least has questionable-looking mutant beasts and juicy blood effects. The worst movies we watched weren't because of bad acting, bad writing, or just so full of bad effects that it was cringe; it was when the movies have long stretches of boring nothing.
5:27 - 5:28 I recognize that stock footage being also used in a PC game named Silent Steel, which obviously involves submarines.
I remember this one from Phelous' reviews, hilariously bad stuff. The old lady terrorist still cracks me up
LOL SAME! I remember that review very well. I was always bummed out though that he never finished the review of it. :/
It must be horrible if the Asylum won't sponsor it🐙🐙🐙
To be honest I actually don't hate the sequel and this one is fine as mindless fun.
Another good mindless fun movie with an underrated sequel is Crocodile. I'll die on the Death Swamp is a Banger hill
"Light up my life m*th*rf*ck*r!"
You've mentioned a couple of movies that you could do in this video like Alligator and Piranha II. Dragon Wars: D-War (2007) is another one.
The first time I saw this movie was when I was 10 or 11 years old and I found it on Netflix's instant queue. I was mainly into dinosaur horror movies, but I thought that Octopus looked interesting enough (plus it was in my recommended)
Brandon your comments on this movie are hilarious!
Turner looks like Keanu Reeves & Jeffrey Combs generic love child lol
You have to wonder if they didn't start of with two unfinished scripts and someone had the idea of chucking them together.
aw man I grew up on Ytv back in the 90s
would the cruse ship be a surface plot?
16:16 "and so they manage to escape and die from decompression sickness!" We've all seen what happened to Miguel Ferrer in *Deep Star Six.*
Thank you good sir.
Sarcasms on point. Always a pleasure.
Had a surprisingly large box office in Japan.
So this is what happens when you cross a terrorist action thriller flick with the final scene from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
I'd rather go for The Rift, also known as Siren 1, which at least has questionable-looking mutant beasts and juicy blood effects.
By the way: why are the submarines in such movies always so huge on the inside? In real life, they're more like floating cans.
At least they didn't give all their ammo to Frost this time moments before he was killed by a monster.
4:20-4:21, is what most people are to scared to say about "woman of the year"!🤣
Is Winona Ryder's photo essay on your squarespace ad a "how to" on shoplifting?
This makes me wanna see you cover It Came From Beneath the Sea even more now
15:06
I don't even know why am I even complaining about that but sure anthrax was responsible for the giant octopus 🐙
Russian Richard Dreyfus was dead on.
Also crazy how the movie Brotherhood of the Wolf stars a French Paul Levesque. (AKA Triple H)
"I wish I wish I was watching 'Godzilla 1985'" is not a sentence I ever expected to hear.
