This movie may not have Raquel Welch in a fur bikini, but it DOES have fart jokes, so...that's something I guess...
🤔☝️Good job Brandon 😉 I would do the lex but I'm still brainstorming here 📜👈🤷🏼♂️
so godzilla next episode?
@@GODCONVOYPRIMEi wonder if the next episode would be ghidorah the three headed dragon
Fart jokes make everything better 💨
Can you look at a Dinosaur Movie called Baby Secret Of The Lost Legend🦕
Silly slapstick and then sudden violence is just the pattern of daily life in Korea. Perfectly understandable.
And Bong Joon-ho basically built his career on movies that can't stay in a tonal lane for more than about 15 minutes.
I love it when Brandon does the fake subtitles joke.
"I hate the fake subtitle joke."
“Rodents of an unusual size”, I see what you did there and yeah, the T-Rex looks rather good.
One thing this channel has shown me just how far Korean Cinema has come since the 1970s. Or in this case the 1990s.
Train to Busan is amazing
I like Aimless Bullet
Would like to see Brandon review Pulgasari in the future.
Honestly it's kinda crazy. Nowadays I far prefer Korean horror/thriller movies than anything coming out of Hollywood. Their glow up in cinema needs to be studied considering only 40 years ago the entire business was built around ripping off every IP they could think of 😂
South Korea itself has come pretty far over that same span, from impoverishment and dictatorship to one of the biggest economies and pop culture capitols of the world (although a lot of inequality still remains, which is what media like Parasite and Squid Game are about).
Some of the dinosaurs have a very Saturday morning Land of the Lost look to them.
You did do Yor as well. That was kind of a caveman movie.
The cavemen just also happened to fire laser guns at one point.
And the plot twist: It wasn’t a prehistoric movie, but a post-apocalyptic movie. Doesn’t explain the dinosaurs, though (this was LONG before Jurassic Park, so cloning was extremely unlikely).
You know what we really want, we want Godzilla for Christmas 🎄🦖🏢
I don't.
As a request from a fan, would you mind putting all your dinosaur movies onto one playlist? It would make it easier for me to sort out my favorite ones to rewatch
Yes
You can make your own playlist for that.
Now imagine if they made a movie adaptation of Primal Rage.
The return of an old friend, you say? 1 it looks like Brandon tunnel is bringing us a Christmas present in the way of a Godzilla video.
Godzilla’s revenge? 😮

@@prestonanimates7971I was wondering if it’s the Christmas present we all want!
Nameless Caveman tribal guy: How are we going to kill the T-Rex in the final climactic battle?
Nameless Caveman tribal guy who seems to be the star of the movie: Oh, thank goodness, the latex dinosaur costume is nice and flammable, goes up like a torch!
Old friend? Don't you dare give me hope
That T-Rex looked pretty damn good for a non Spielberg flick. Looked almost as good as the one from J.P.!
That T-Rex model is actually pretty impressive for what kind of movie this is.
Agreed.
The pachycephalosaurus is pretty good, too. They picked a dinosaur that was about the right size at 6 ft. high. (But also 16 ft. long and almost 500 lbs, so a little off.)
And considering the relative budgets, I do not think the ones in "Jurassic Park: The Lost Word" are a thousand (hundred-thousand?) times better.
Holy crap, finally a new cult movie review! 🙏🏻
I was already suffering from withdrawal symptoms.. 😩😂
Young Earth creationists would consider this a documentary😂
“0/10, did not end with the Great Flood and Noah’s Ark” - Some Young Earth creationist idiot
Holy hell dude. I started watching you a few years ago and if come back here n there (of course for the Godzilla reviews) but then saw your other stuff and im glad to see you're growing.
4:20 I thought this was Dinosaurs vs Cavemen, not Korean Lord of the Flies.
6:20 Pachycephalosaurus is rare enough sight on any dino related media, so I will not stand you disrespecting it like that.
15:30 GODZILLA FOR CHRISTMAS!
My wife was like The director is actually a known Korean comedian, but he always wanted to be a director so we ended up with this 😅 I guess you can't be good at everything. On the plus side at least we get a new video from you.
6:25 It's a Pachycephalosaurus.
I was going to comment that same thing there is also a Petradon at 8:44
Return of an old friend what does that- 'sees a fan giving a death threat outside of window.' OH MY GODZILLA!!!
Thanks for the chuckles, very funny.
7-year-old dinosaur nerd me would've absolutely laughed watching a man try to headbutt a pacchycephalosaurus.
Japanese stuff are one of the kind 🎉🎉🎉but South Korea is underrated
Nothing like starting off the weekend with a new Brandon Tenold video!
The Triceratops was played by Fairfax and Carstairs from 'Allo 'Allo, it was a movue up from their cow costume disguise. :P
That "Oh-ah" saying wacky Pachycephalosaurus was certainly unexpected.
Still no Ice Pirates, Brandon? Geeeeeeze.......
Fun fact: the tribal leader is the same guy who played Jaws in James Bond
I thought he looked liked him LOL
I was going to mention that but I thought I was nuts. 😂
No he's not.
@@mrcydonia 😁😅🤣😂🤣😂
I didn't recognize him without that nail sticking out of his head.
When that pig showed up, my first thought was "Wait, that's not what a prehistoric pig looked like!".
Only when the dude got shot with 2 arrows did I remember there were no dinossaurs in cavemen times...
X_X
The snotty annoying dinosaur is hilarious 😂
We needed dinosaur fart jokes, not caveman ones.
Damn. No Godzilla Minus One video? Very surprised.
LOVE the channel!! You have introduced me to new stuff I would have never found!!
Philosophy tube, LazerPig and now Brandon Tenold??? GREAT DAY!!!
Edit: Jose as well! YAY!
Keep putting out the awesome videos, bro.
They may not be the worst looking effects, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t make fun of them!
Been a long time since I've watched any of your videos. Glad i found your channel again
Boy, this Director sure loves giant Reptilians attacking places lol
Does that mean MOAR Godzilla?
I have jus recently found this channel amd ive binged pretty much the whe thing, even recommended it to my mother, since she got me hooked on bad movies.
Now I look forward to new videos.
Also love all the mst3k references
he had to kill those baby dinos, they grow up into cliff racers
Hey, it's Dino Diego on the RUclips screen at the end, really great content creator who covers all sorts of dinosaur and paleo media, highly recommend to anybody who interested in that stuff! He just recently made 2 part in depth video about Carnosaur franchise, starting with original book.
Hey Brandon! I've been watching your show for a long time. Thank you🙂
I really enjoy your videos
5:50 - that's no dinosaur, it's Minya!
Actually a lot of words in korean are pretty close to their English counterparts like coffee being 카피 (ka pi) which is pretty neat and has helped quite a bit in my learning of the language
The T-Rex in this movie reminds me of the T-Rex in Toy Story.
Lol ok that was so bad but you got me laughing. Dude what a great job man, once again you did it.
Your videos are aleays a treat.
Thanks for the tip; just watched Tyranno's Claw and it inspires lunatic laughter
10:17 haha, I was paying attention😂😂😂 the misdirection got me 😂😂
I was waiting for a 90's dinosaurs "Not the Momma" at the triceratops baby
Oh heck yeah always a good day when the man himself uploads
I have a hunch the director was also a fan of Ringo Starr's _Caveman_ .
This snarky review has brightened my day.
..."They only got as far as the 'Y'."...😂
Early CGI was a novelty, and proper special effects will always be better even if it's clearly just a person in a suit.
Lol, you had to bring up Little foot. I'm still trying to get over that trauma.
Still a better movie, and accurate depiction of prehistoric life, than '10,000 BC'.
Considering the depiction here shows cavemen and dinosaurs in the same biome ar the same time. Little of this movie would constitute as accurate lol
@@WangNurMouththat's the joke
10.000 BC would've been more charming if the good guys didn't speak English and the movie was told more visually like the Cavemen flicks it was a pastiche of.
That nonsense about a chosen one was so trite
Not gonna lie, Carnosaur wishes it had a T-Rex that good!
03:00 well I wouldn’t bother with Creatures that Time Forgot.
I think it's time for that ninja to threaten your balls again lol
8:48 Did they give the Pteranodon fur? That's actually ahead of its time.
Well pterosaurs may have fur but I’m pretty sure it’s pycnofeathers if that’s how they say it
@@Garryzilla Yeah, that. I just find it funny to see it in this movie.
It’s actually been known pterosaurs had pycnofibers since the 70s it’s just been that most media is behind the times with pterosaurs even more so than dinosaurs even documentaries didn’t really get them right till Prehistoric Planet.
I wonder where Shim found some of these models, considering the varying degree of quality. The Triceratops, adult and child, seem directly modelled after the one in Jurassic Park and the T.rex too seems heavily inspired by it, while the Pachycephalosaur is all rubbery and the Pteranodon, while goofy, surprisingly accurate! It's all over the place!!
I notice that dinosaur stories seem to have it in for pterodactyls more than any other animal. This isn't even the first one I know of where the hero does that to the infant ones, or even the SECOND one I know of.
I like that ONE MILLION YEARS B.C. is the flipside of that, where every pterodactyl manages to survive.
First pachycephalosaurus I’ve seen in a dinosaur movie.
Return of an old friend....!
NINJA OUTSIDE THE KITCHEN WINDOW?
Practical effects always win over cgi. That being said, I'm sorry you had to go through this for our entertainment.
He does love to suffer
I really hope the old friend you are talking about is either godzilla or gamera from the good gamera trilogy
I don't know whether to be disappointed at no mention of the Yee meme regarding that first terrible dinosaur, or be impressed at the restraint.
An old friend of the channel that wouldn't happen to be Godzilla would it?
As soon as the jokes started my first thought was they must have seen "Caveman" and a smattering of cavemen and dinosaur action movies like Yor, the Hunter from the Future".
I read it as Tyranids Claws in the thumbnail, initially. That's probably not a great sign.
You know Dino Diego did a review on this movie wish you did a colander with him
The T Rex did not, I repeat did *not*, eat Brandon. Despite his line about the T Rex eating the real GOAT.
*Watches goat thrashing itself to death in jagged looking prop*
"Damn, Brandon. Are you sure RUclips will be ok with this review?"
-You can watch the entire movie right here on RUclips.
"Oh, uh, Ok then. Carry on."
Still waiting on that FOOTAGE FLAGGED BY TOHO t-shirt in merch
Ooh Korean. How fitting as I'm in Seoul for another 2 days.
Princess Bride reference *BONUS POINTS*
Your bringing back an old friend?...do you mean the O.G.?
Honestly this looked kind of awesomene! Perfect amount of schlock for a caveman movie.
I've reviewed a Korean movie called Dragon Wars. That makes the dinos here look like Stan Winston.
Thank you
I almost died from watching this video thanks to the fart scene while eating Mac n Cheese.
"Oh no I've been shot by two arrows. My one weakness."
And since it's on RUclips, I'll check it out.🦖
This movies name makes me think of a t-rex crossed with Santa clause.
Tyrannos claws, during the Jurassic he knows if you were naughty or nice.
Godzilla next! Right? 😅
04:02 looks more like the Stone Age version of Mallet’s Mallet.
Sparktastic ^^
So, considering they did a caveman short, that guy was essentially Korean Shemp.
2:37 PLEASE review 1 Million Years B.C. It's surprisingly awesome!
What? No Yor reference during the Pterodactyl scene? You're slipping, Brandon!
Alright! He's gonna review another Gamera movie.
I'd really like to see Brandon talk about more animated movies.
Tyrano loves Korean BBQ!
This seems more like a parody of Ringo Starr's Caveman. Very weirdly similar in plot and comedy flip flops.
5.57:Who invited Eraserhead to be in this movie?
FINALLY!
