Then the first cut is on Chuck and the movie goes RiffTrax material from there. Obligatory "LANCE!" for this movie.
Paul Gleason (THE BREAKFAST CLUB) was also in DOC SAVAGE THE MAN OF BRONZE (as "Long Tom"). The black cop was Phil Morris, son of Greg Morris, and starred in the 80s revival of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE, playing Barney Collier's son "Grant Collier".
To mention a really deep cut cameo: Dr Seussmeyer, the guy on the web video is James Morrison, an Australian Jazz Trumpet legend! Also co-wrote the movie!
I actually loved this ending. A group of LEOs and all the eyes lighting up around them. Just the eyes and their silhouettes in the dark, and the idea that even though there's a group of ARMED LEOs doesn't mean squat against what they're facing. And then the cut to black. I think it's a really great ending actually.
Film is pretty solid, always a good late night watch if it was on tv. The creature was unnerving, loved the lack of CGI and the pulled through the window and face bitten off kills were great! Would love to see you tackle another late night sci-fi channel monster-in-the-woods classic, It Waits!
I remember seeing this back on Syfy back when it was still known as the "Sci-Fi Channel" back in 2006. Definitely one of the better, if not the best Sci-Fi Channel original movies.
I was hoping you would do this movie one day! Imo, this is probably the best Bigfoot horror movie ever made, and after the ones you’ve previously done, you deserve to have at least one legit good one under your belt.
2:40 The anti dog fog rolled in off the… How do you spell “mores” moors? Or is that more of a cow thing? The point is, the fog took the dog, and this is now a Dr.Sues story. The fog took the dog, in front of the frog as the Big Foot ran back or was that jogged? Moving so fast back home to the bog, Sassy ran right through the fog, noticing the mist eating a dog! You can’t do that! Not here in this bog, now you spit it out, don’t eat the dog. As he spoke, there sat the frog, who had seen the dog eating the dog. I saw it right there as I sat atop that log, the treacherous mist devoured the dog. Do it now, tell the Big Foot, Fog! The fog hung thick, over and under the log. Make your peace, I ate that dog! Came a thundering voice, shaking the bog. Sasquatch stared, and the angry frog glared. Why would you eat the dog, playing with friends, just as special as Frog? I hate children’s books.

I remember watching this when I was a older teen on the scifi channel back in the day and being surprised at how good it was. It's honestly one of if not their best film and really goes to show how putting a decent amount of effort into a lower budget film can go a long way. I remember one Saturday when my brother was watching this movie on Syfy. At one point, her said to me "That guy looks a lot like Lance Henriksen!" I had to point that was.
A few days after seeing this movie the first time, I spent some weeks at the family cabin in north Finland wilderness. Going to the outhouse at night scared me shitless.
I was wondering when someone i watched was going to get to this movie. I am glad it was you, Brandon. Obligatory "LANCE!" for this movie.
I love your Frankenstein, Hulk, Swamp-Thing, Trogg Bigfoot, Yeti etc voice!!!! 😂❤
I wanna see this for the cameos AND Otis' head being bitten off!
Oh wow wow a Brandon Tenold episode! Time to jump in!
Where’s the little girl that’s supposed to take the Yeti back to its people 😂
To mention a really deep cut cameo: Dr Seussmeyer, the guy on the web video is James Morrison, an Australian Jazz Trumpet legend! Also co-wrote the movie!
The ending scene of this movie is like if the ending of Harry and the Hendersons film was a horror.
I always wanted to check this out. Looks mildly entertaining.
I always thought the 'Yeti' looked like Stacy Keach!...LOL
For another Sasquatch horror movie, "Exists" wasn't too bad!
Film is pretty solid, always a good late night watch if it was on tv. The creature was unnerving, loved the lack of CGI and the pulled through the window and face bitten off kills were great!
Would love to see you tackle another late night sci-fi channel monster-in-the-woods classic, It Waits!
And Preston is played by another Seinfeld alum. The actor was Lloyd Braun.
I remember seeing this back on Syfy back when it was still known as the "Sci-Fi Channel" back in 2006. Definitely one of the better, if not the best Sci-Fi Channel original movies.
thats because it wasn't an SF original movie. Just premiered on that channel like Dog Soldiers.
@@Necrowolf81 That explains it then. XD
I was hoping you would do this movie one day! Imo, this is probably the best Bigfoot horror movie ever made, and after the ones you’ve previously done, you deserve to have at least one legit good one under your belt.
Great video Brandon made work on a Friday that much better
I'm goina read this comment to my children from a bedtime story. You should find an illustrator and make a fortune!
I also liked yeti and sasquatch movies so this'll be fun
I'm so happy your channel is still going strong, i see so many classic youtube reviewers fall down a dark path and it makes me happy to see your still standing.
I love this movie and was excited to see you review it! You did not disappoint!
I remember watching this movie back in the Sci-Fi channel this is one of the better Sci-Fi and Bigfoot movie in that channel great review man.
Looks like one of the Critters has been eating his off-brand Wheaties
I remember watching this when I was a older teen on the scifi channel back in the day and being surprised at how good it was. It's honestly one of if not their best film and really goes to show how putting a decent amount of effort into a lower budget film can go a long way. (Edit: I genuinely felt bad for the poor girls and the one in the shower was a real hottie)
it premiered on scfi but was not made by them or Asylum like most of the original trash they show these days
@@Necrowolf81 Oh that explains it. Thanks for the info
That was a long intro ad, but I sit through it only because it's Brandon's video.
Thanks again for covering my pick! I'm glad you found it entertaining.
hey it was MY pick XD
@@2st486 I will say my name is at the end. ;)
@@GreyshotProductions ive sent him a subliminal message while astral traveling XD
@@2st486Now I get it. I'm using my Twin Telepathy to send you one back. 😂
This by far my favorite bigfoot movie, I love the ending, I wish you could put more out faster
This is one of the very few movies that actually frightened me the first time i saw it.
The video expert is Australian jazz musician, James Morrison. My question is, what the hell is he doing in this?
I remember watching this on the sfyf and it having one the scareist bigfoot/yeti monster i seen.
I was wondering when someone i watched was going to get to this movie. I am glad it was you, Brandon. For the longest time until I watched it again, the one thing that stood out to me was the shot of the male nurse after the Yeti/Bigfoot chewed off his face
Keep up the great work dude. You're amazing
Sasquatches have the same weakness as ROTOR, good to know
Got a problem with an Abdominable SnowMensch, take the Bugs Bunny route and haul his ass to a tropical climate and watch him melt on the beach,
I think a more realistic Bigfoot horror movie would be a gentle Bigfoot family having to fight off sadistic human hunters.
Jeffery Combs, eh? Too bad he didn't get to say "Bigfoot! I NEEDED that!"
This is funny you have a dr squatch ad under your video.😂
