And maybe some Valhalla UberMod before that in the chain, just because I haven't touched it in a long while... and, well, the night is young, but I don't think I'll be buying any glitchy perc samples anymore. What should I study other than music that will help in music? . My parents wont allow me to study music. Is there any subject which describes the work of plugins and how to make them? You only need 3 letters for glitch. V...C....V! More specifically, the Nythsi sampling modules with random clock divisions triggering record and playback. Another favourite of mine is comb filters modulated by sample and hold. There are infinite ways to make messed up glitchy sounds with modular.

No offense but portal seems like basic sound effects (delay, reverb, etc) being modules by LFO’s
