  • Today's video is for those who are doing all they can or want to do all they can to genuinely heal and find personal transformation. I was thinking of so many of you who are doing their work, trying to heal from either their own moral failure or their partner's. It can be one of the loneliest, most excruciating journeys a person can go through, with seemingly ongoing bouts of depression, disillusionment and agonizing frustration. Yet, despite the awfulness of it all, it can be filled with bravery, tenacity and revolutionary self compassion. Forging ahead despite the discouragement and uncertainty, putting it all on the line for our own self love and personal redemption. This has never been for the faint of heart and continues to be elusive for those who refuse to get serious with themselves or their own recovery or those who they entrust their recovery work to. The beautiful thing about our own work is it's ours. It can never be taken away from us. It can stay with us for the rest of our time here on earth. I hope todays' video encourages you and provides new life and new hope for your journey.

Made a list today of all the things that were stolen from me as the betrayed by my H and Satan who comes to steal kill and destroy! My dignity, my body self image, my joy, my security, My thought life, my sense of self worth, my countenance. Pictures are in my mind that no wife should have to think about. After 6 months since d day I still haven't gotten any help. Small towns don't have it. Fargo ND is 45 miles away and my husband is seeing a therapist there. After a trigger and result of flooding yesterday, keeping my mouth and thoughts to myself seems the best way to go. Tired of crying uncontrollable. We are70 and71, never thought that this would enter our life. We are both born again Christians, so I have my saviour and His word to help me

thanks for this video today Sam! I remember meeting you at EMS weekend and telling you i was happy to meet you though every time my husband sent me a message that had one of your videos attached, when I heard your voice, I would get so angry. It took a while to realize that I was angry because you spoke truth and I didn’t want to hear it. Pride is such a drainer and keeps you stuck where you are at in the self-centered state that us unfaithful live in. When the unfaithful do their work this helps the betrayed slowly gain back things that we took from them. I love my husband and I don’t know if he will ever gain back every little thing but I’m going to keep trying to lighten his load and self reflect on where we’ve been and where we are going in this journey. To health and to healing! God Bless!

Hey Samuel, I hope you are doing great mentally and physically, I really mean that, I've been going through a tough time and your videos helped me a lott, they gave lots of hope. I do have some questions because you don't post anymore on Affair recovery and how's it going with you and Samantha if you don't mind telling. I binge watch your videos that are are 8 years old to most recent ones and I feel relieved, knowing that it is temporary and there can be work done to improve my situation. I watch your videos everyday and I thank once again for the videos you made, I really miss you making videos for Affair recovery.

How would I know I've done enough as the betrayed ? I feel like my marriage is stable 5 years after Dday, my husband was there to deal with his actions but I always feel like it's never enough & I struggle with feeling I ask for too much

It's a great and tough question. I would consult someone who is an expert who can guide you through it to see. It certainly can't hurt if it's a safe, expert ya know? I'd be willing to help if that person is me.
