Sam! It's so good to see you here, doing your own thing. I followed AR for a long time. But in the past two years, since discovering my husband's betrayal, I sort of fell off the wagon, so to speak. I lost touch with recovery. Then, recently, I logged back into my YT and the algorithm saw fit to throw me your new videos. I'm so glad it did.
My husband left 2 months ago. Filed for divorce. We still talk every day, have 4 kids between us, 2 of those are his. Though, he was "dad" to my other two since they were 1 and 3, so, really, "we" do have 4 kids. Anyway.
You said you read these. So just, thank you. I sent a video to my husband tonight, the wayward, and he said he'd watch it. So maybe it'll prove good for us.
Just, all in all, as I said, thank you. For not giving up on this mission. I know it's hard for you, too, but it matters, so much. ❤

The sadness I feel when watching this video is the sadness I tend to feel with most if not all of Samuel's videos in that I don't think many unfaithful watch them. My marriage might have been able to be saved if my wife would have watched them.

As a Broken Betrayed I have needed this the most. There would be NO Trust without it. Also it has helped him with his on shame.
Keep it up Samuel we are still here.

Thank you Samuel! You have been a great help to me (betrayed) and now to husband ( the unfaithful ) . His infidelity was in 2010. Everything he could have done wrong (after I discovered ) to heal the damage ...he did! I stuffed my hurt for 10 years only to grow cold. I knew God was urging me to open the wound and heal the infection of my heart and spirit. He was defensive , non empathetic, and frankly dishonest. He wanted to sweep it under the rug and keep it there! For the past 4 years I have begged him to educate himself as I have so he could understand the damage that has been done and the damage he is continuing to do! I have learned from 2 other affair recovery podcasts . However, neither of them were unfaithful. I learned so much about my husband through your honesty and vulnerability as the unfaithful. I sent him one of your videos . He listened and connected with you! Thank you Jesus! We still have a long way to go . I just want to thank you for your courage and willingness to tell your story! You truly bless the unfaithful and the betrayed!

You are one of the best, most natural speakers I've ever heard. You were made for this, and every one of your videos has been one of my only senses of comfort through this crazy time in my life. I've been so curious how you and Samantha's journey has ended or even continued, where you stand today, if you'd ever be willing to share.

Interesting, it seems we're in a time, at least in the USA, that words are meaning less and less and actions carry more truth than words spoken. When words are congruent with actions there's integrity. Maybe that's what we're moving towards.

What if we show them but they don't want to see...?

Sometimes they don't want to see, and that's fair. So if you want to save the relationship, you keep showing them. You keep displaying the changes you've made and the healing you're experiencing. They do have a choice on whether to stay or go, forgive or not and you have to honor that. I would stay committed to the process of it all and see how it goes.
