They used to do a lot better with off road content and their vehicle battles but now they just do a rundown of each in a parking lot like you said. I know it’s prolly cause it’s winter but still they could find something out in Colorado where it’s off road trail heaven. I really appreciate and like what you guys do, and the depth at which you tackle each subject. However, I’m noticing a pattern in your recent videos where you set two trucks side by side, talk about all the specs, add bits of info here and there, then give them a couple of revs. I really miss the videos where you used to take them off road together. Not only does that give the viewer a sense of how trucks behave in the real world, but some great entertainment to boot. It seems as though you guys are providing us with the cheapest way can give us content. I was expecting you guys to pit these two off road which would have made for a great video. Sorry if I’m being harsh, but this is a great channel and hope you guys keep it that way.

Part of the problem is due to covid. They can do the old style for certain videos but not all right now. Also as one person commented they own the raptor, they don’t own the power wagon so that probably has something to do with it a bit. As another commenter said, they’ve got so many channels that, along with the other issues, is spreading them a little thin. But also, it’s winter in Colorado right now and many of the trails they tend to use for off-road videos are closed or too treacherous to attempt in borrowed vehicles so they can’t really do a good off-road video right now.

You bring up the factory installed winch for the Power Wagon but you could have also mentioned that the Raptor doesn't have an option for mounting a winch at all. There is an intercooler where the winch would go. To put a winch on a Raptor you need to get an aftermarket intercooler and Swarfworks mount. Also, you winch that has a remotely operated clutch. That limits you to the Warn ZEON Platinum. You're looking at ~$4000 to put a winch on the front of a Raptor.

Don't even notice when I'm hauling my off-road truck on my flat deck. The wheeling in my area is pretty tight with trees so theres some body damage. The Traction you get when you're locked up and weigh 4200kgs is awesome. I can plow through 3' of snow when we go snow wheeling no problem. Eventually it will get a built engine for boost. My only complaint is the 66RFE trans. It's dim witted and slow to react. Pretty sure the 8-spd would bolt up??

TFL has seriously just started phoning it in on off-road truck comparisons. Ever since the Tremor arrived...zero real off-road challenges against the Power Wagon after they hyped the Tremor based on paper stats. The closest we got was a 3-way HD OFF-ROAD FIGHT including the GMC that consisted of a mud puddle, low-speed idling, driving onto a rock, and then a gas mileage comparison.
Here is a hint fellas...if you put "off-road" in the title you should probably take them off-road. Seeing them work is one thing, watching you guys point at capabilities in a parking lot does nothing.
