I really like the incredibly brave stance of arguing that "the gays" ruin friendships by always making it gay... whilst discussing a pair of book characters who the author says "yeah, they're gay" and trying to argue that they're "just good friends". Let's just ignore decades of straights "just good friend"-ing clearly gay coded characters and relationships because it makes them uncomfortable to imagine for example Neptune and Uranus bumping same gender uglies.

@jimmyjobob009 he's also conservative and conservatives use this argument all the time as to why they don't want their partners associating with members of the opposite sex. Plus conservatives seem to be more obsessed with sex than other groups, so i can see why they believe what they believe about relationships between men and women.
