Hi Bumbi 👋Hope you are well. Oh I love stuffed peppers. Those look delicious 😋Your bell peppers look amazing. Great job 👍Green bell peppers are actually my favourites. Bo is always in the best place. Thank you for the wonderful recipe. Hope you have a lovely weekend my dear friend 💕
Even I am a great fan of stuffed peppers. Thanks for always leaving a beautiful comment in all my videos. I really appreciate it. Take care and have a lovely weekend my friend.
Timely recipe, my peppers are ready! I love to cook, and maybe I love eating even more, but I have made more of your recipes than any other food channel! You are the very best, thank you! 👩🍳😘🫑
Hi dear Bumbi. Ive been following you for a long time. This channel I just started and sharing my passion. The main inspiration came after enjoying your cooking recipes for years. Im here just to say Thank You. Indirectly you were a huge inspiration for me to start in my 50s. Thank you for enriching my life with all your recipes ❤ - Nikki from Italy
I use the same method but after filling the peppers, I usually roast them in a little bit of oil on all sides before putting them into the gravy / sauce. Gives a nice taste.
Sushmita: Bumbi your soothing voice and simple method of teaching us your recipes are tantalizing 👌 😋 This is my next I ❤ all of them. You are the best in teaching Indian Cuisine with a twist Blessings always 🙏 ❤️ 🎉
I enjoy the addition of sitar music, and all raga style music in your videos as well as all the recipes. I'd like to have a taste of all of them but I am viewing the videos in the early morning and most wouldn't work well for breakfast!
I made this with minced turkey, which is easier to find locally. Really good - thank you! I'm thinking of having a go at filling some "beef tomatoes" (called that in the UK: in other words, really big ones) with the mixture. By the way, excellent tip about seasoning the peppers before stuffing. I listened to your comment on the number of people watching these (in the yoghurt - pakora video): they really don't know what they're missing!
@@CurriesWithBumbi I have now tried this using tomatoes instead of peppers. It worked fine, but not as well as it did with the peppers. They have a better flavour - the big tomatoes (certainly those you get in UK supermarkets) are a bit bland. Your trick of seasoning the peppers/tomatoes before filling them does help, though.
Hi Bumbi! I enjoy watching your videos! They are always so wonderful 😊 I was wondering, what brand of curry powder do you use? I can't seem to find a great one in the USA. Could you please suggest one? 😊
thanks for sharing can I make this lamb/beef mince ...will the recipe be the same? my late Mom used to cook this dish and have tried to replicate ...never tastes the same ....will try brings back childhood memories ❤❤❤❤
I skipped this video at first. Memories of my mother's stuffed peppers. Recipe: mix raw ground meat and rice. Stuff into bell peppers. Cook in water until the peppers can be eaten with a spoon. When I was a kid, dinner was often a punishment. Your stuffed peppers actually look good!
All the bell peppers in stores are too big, which isn't really a bad thing but in this case, they would take forever to bake once stuffed. Those peppers from your own gardens are a perfect size! They also have some elegant shapes
Hi Bumbi. I love your recipes and I am cooking this one next for sure. One thing I hope you will help with. I am one of those weird people that really really loves extremely hot food. I live in the UK and there are some great UK developed hot dishes by the South Asian community here, such as Vindaloo etc. But I am not normal and it isn't enough. Could you possibly post your favourite super hot dish? Much love from North London!
There is nothing “weird” nor “abnormal” in liking super hot food. It is just a matter of individual choice, preference and tolerance level. Regarding hot dishes, you can transform any of my recipes into a super hot dish. All you need to do is add a lot of chilli powder ( add little by little and keep tasting the dish till it reaches your desired level of heat. If it is a meat dish add more chilli powder after doing a taste test at the end). You can also add chopped Thai green chillies or serrano peppers in addition to chilli powder. Please try this and let me know how it goes.
I only have Madras style curry powder, it looks more yellow than the curry powder in your video, maybe it will work? All other spices I have. I really enjoy watching your videos, thank you.
Sorry, I cannot understand what you are trying to say !! You can increase the quantity of bell peppers if you want it to be served to more people. I never mentioned the number of servings in the video !!
I used red bells. They came out beyond yummy.
I am so happy to hear that. Thanks for trying this recipe.
I love my daily dose of Curries With Bumbi. Indian cuisine is the best in the world. Many thanks Bumbi. 😄

I usually make at home. Sometimes I use Madras curry powder or Chief /Rani brand curry powder
I love stuffed peppers I prefer the red or orange ones then yellow then green. When I was a child I ate green peppers like apples!!!!😅

Hi bumbi - roughly how long will your garlic and ginger paste last in the fridge? Thanks
If you do not add the tomatoes it will last for 2 to 3 days in refrigerator or you can freeze it for longer.
Thank you

Yes larger ones take a lot of time to get soft.

Cornstarch/ gramflour/ chickpea flour/ almond flour
Ok, i tend to use potato flour a lot, is there such a thing as hemp flour 🍀 😊
@stevehanks4339 you can use potato flour. I haven’t ever used hemp flour
The hemp flour was a joke 😀
