So true everything you are teaching. I am 71 years old. 4 years ago, I switched to whole foods plantbased. Lots of beans, lintels, etc. No oil was the big one. Lost loads of weight got off all my med's. 🎉
Watching your videos closely as I re-enter the WFPB world. I’ve always loved veganism and stayed close to it…but needed more understanding of how to make my life 100% WFPB. I love listening to you and feel like your approach is a match for what I’ve learned about myself as an eater. Thank you for all the work you do to help so many!
I just started sharing videos on my RUclips channel about how our family has been able to sustain a WFPBNO way of eating for the past 14 years. Keeping it simple and sticking to whole plant foods is so key.
These are great tips, Ryan! I've been WFPB for about three months, but I do slip up more often than not and it is usually because of emotional eating or lack of time/planning and old habits. I am getting there, I have to keep getting back on the horse and hopefully one day be close to 100%. I don't feel like I am losing much weight, but I know why and emotional eating/binge eating is a killer at times if you let it rule.
You'll get there, do not bring any trigger food into the house and have simple things like (sweet) potatoes and frozen veggies, canned beans, etc. you can prepare a meal in minutes so no excuses! I used to binge eat and was a stress-eater too, you can get over it just stay on the WFPB plan and don't keep teasing your taste buds by "cheating". Good luck!
