@garyssimo try to keep to minimum number of meals to keep at a healthy weight. I am at three meals. I lost too much weight on one or two. Went from 220 to 138. But I do have stage 4.and my drug keeps my glucose up
I started Jessie's progam a full year ago. At that time I was passing out 5-6 times a day from glucose spikes, 0 energy. I had stage 4 kidney failure. Now I have 0 spikes and am healing my kidneys. No back pain no swollen feet no dark urine ! My energy feels like when I was 20-30 years old. I sprint, not jog, but sprint 200 yards every third day. I am a 72 yr old woman. Thank YOU Jessie for saving my life.
I’m a practitioner and see hundreds of elderly people per week. I always ask the folks in their 90’s/100’s what their diet is/was, and I noted they are all skipping breakfast! The vast majority still eat lard and fatty meats too! My conclusion is that intermittent fasting is probably the key to longevity.
Our bodies have adapted to live in environments where we don't have food, don't have scheduled feeding times, animals eat when they're hungry or require food to maintain bodyweight through periods of hibernation etc. the only statistic we should worry about is quality of food, and trying to stay in a state of caloric surplus so our bodies aren't metabolising themselves for energy (primarily during periods of growth) when you're fully grown I imagine you have a greater resilience to the downsides of caloric/nutritional deficits, as your body has mostly completed it's development stage.
My favorite part of this is the discussion on kids. I have raised two kiddos who are now teenagers. I was very particular about what they ate growing up and had no problem being the bad guy and saying no. As teenagers they do indulge in some of the junk due to trends and media influence but I proudly can see that those habits created from birth through toddlerhood follow through into the rest of their lives. Dont be afraid to say no to your kids because their future selves with thank you. Its our job to guide our children in the right direction and that isnt always easy but its our role as parents...do the hard work now
good job you should be proud - I was never really taught how to eat right and used lots of processed foods not realizing how bad it was - wish I would have had all this information when my kids were young - our grocery stores - schools - hospitals do not follow the correct foods to feed people - but now I know and my kids follow and we have all benefited from my changes in life style - when I changed everything about myself and life style I never told them to do anything different - it was when they saw what happened to me they followed - people should do the research and do what they feel is right - I changed everything and I am healthier now then when I was in my 20s -
I had depression and anxiety from age 13 to 45 when I went on an elimination diet for chronic gut health issues and excluded all sugar for 4 months , and I never had depression again. Because I stopped almost all sugar and processed foods after seeing its connection to my mental health. That was 8 years ago.
I was on that for 2 years no gluten sugar processed foods or dairy. My eczema, seasonal allergies, body rash and inflammation cleared up . Best I ever felt. The diet was a lifestyle change and sadly I didn’t go out much to eat.. but now I’m back to eating whole wheat and diary
I am 77 years old and started your hacks 6 months ago. I just had a blood labs…glucose went from110 to 98, kidney filtration rate went from 52 to 58. I also lost 28 lbs without “dieting” and feel so much better. The doctors say that it is unusual for someone my age to have these changes. Thank you much!
I had to learn all of this about calcium my kidneys went to 35% too much calcium, and I had to start all over again with food and drinks is another one to avoid like Dairy, Cheese, Pasta, Baked Goods, coffee, Tea's Sparkling Water Fizzy Drinks anything with Carbonated in them or Phos. Sugar, oils
This guy is a master at interviews. Bro always asks the questions we are thinking of and gives his guests the platform to be properly heard without interrupting them👍🏼
@@empmaximus1 Ok but It does not change anything from the final product, it adds much more delivery and value. Should the interviews "go live"? Asking for research purposes
😂😂 must admit being a white living in Africa, as soon as a black starts talking, interviews, questions, divulges information or anything else, I have an allergic reaction like a glucose spike 🎉🎉🎉 . This guy had me like savoury. 😂 Not eating sugar will save my marriage floored me. Couldn't help thinking he looks like will Smith's son with more cream than coffee either.
It's planned, not scripted. Sometimes (quite often actually) Steven spouts dumb questions/statements. Like confusing Newton's 3rd law with Einstein's theory of relativity. 🙄
I started questioning everything, especially government health advice! After reading "Health and Beauty Mastery" by Julian Bannett, I completely changed my habits. This book reveals so many shocking truths about the health industry!
Thank-you for the info I n the book. I love to read about health. I recently watched a podcast about the current popular skincare It wasn't what people expect. I am close to 69 years young and I do not use multiple step skincare routines with unrecognizable ingredients. I see so many of the you get women with terrible skin. I use only Dr Bronner's castile soap to wash my face and castor oil at night. I have never used sunscreen , I don't smoke, drink alcohol or do drugs. I eat whole food plant based with occasional grass fed, grass finished beef. I drink water from a spring in the mountains and truly enjoy everything g I eat
my mother is 91... was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer 6 years ago. cut out all sugars except ate a TON of fruits and veggies... she did not get chemo or radiation and is still healthy today
@@EMVelez yeah... I don't think she's open to the literature on natural sugars as she seems. Paul saladino shows some good statistics on natural fruit, and more importantly the nutrients that go along with that sugar that help all of them get processed well by our bodies.. when there's high refined sugar W/O the nutrients that's when there's probs. ancient grain bread... natrual fruits! HIGH QULITY honey have all done well by me in the last year.. what stopped my seizures was completely cutting SEED OILS!! far more important step IMO
My great grandma just turned 101. Every time we talk she says the same things: Don't drink soda, avoid alcohol, and eat pickles with every meal. She swims laps and walks everywhere. She's basically figured out these hacks since the 50s.
Yes! Me and my husband had lots od problems while drinking soda. Me as a pregnant person always had sugar levels high. I stopped drinking soda, stopped eating all sugar products, I’m literally on water and I feel amazing. My body has shrunk within a day. Yeast infections gone.
Whatever FDA says I try to avoid it. I found myself in this rabbit hole of so many industry lies when I read "The 23 Former Doctor Truths". Its no wonder why Doctor left her career.
I work in the med tech industry. We deal with fda all the time. I’d definitely agree there are some shady parts of the industry, but for the most part, the FDA looks at clinical studies, the FDA at they were constructed and their outcomes, and decide whether the claims made are consistent with the outcomes. However, there are lots of companies that will alter or finesse their claims to promote their product to the widest audience and rarely with consequences. I’ve also learned that not all hospitals or doctors are trustworthy. After all, we are all human and have our own biases and hidden agendas.
I am a nurse and this was so much more information about glucose spikes than I have ever been taught or even heard of. I am pre-diabetic and I am immediately going to follow this info. Clothes on carbs is easy to remember. I am starting back today drinking the vinegar in water.
Little tricks like vinegar water aren’t going to do anything significant. You really want to change your life drastically? Go carnivore. Humans, no matter what mainstream reasoning and consensus says, evolved over the course of millions of years to eat a diet of basically exclusively meat. Eat beef and eggs as the vast majority of your diet, and cut out all carbs and sugar, and you will be as healthy as you can possibly be. And you can eat as much as you want, never ever have to starve yourself. There’ll be a million sources telling you what I’m saying isn’t true, but if you’re not a fool you’ll be able to do your own research and not be fooled by the lies. Good luck.
The pharma/sickness complex makes sure we're taught how to keep people sick. ie we tell diabetics to eat cereal with skin milk. A they shouldn't be eating cereal at all, ever ! B. Skim milk just has more sugar per volume and is less satisfying because there's no fat. Then they just eat more because they're hungrier. Stupid.
I dont how this come across my feed but I truly thank all the Gods for this. You dont know the pain a husband go thru to nurse their wife daily. My wifes got diabetes, cataracts and nerve damage with loss of motor functions in her right arm just recently. I am now subscribed and we will start the daily routine of savory breakfast and constant movements after fruits. Thank you much love.
In reality, people are sick, and they are tired largely because of the sugar industry, who, by the way, who will lose money if we would just follow her advice. Thus, we would definitely be healthier without them. Who or what will we believe. The sugar industry for profits or sound proven advice.
YES! NO PRESSURE SALES PITCH! I am sick of scared tactics, and voodoo medicine. This all seems completely practical, reasonable, no running to buy something new, expensive, different than normal. Clear, simple, reasonable.
@@jeanthompson9171Honestly if that were to happen, they would switch their target and remarket the sugar. It’s already used for feeding enzymes and in certain beauty products. It will have a huge impact but not as much as some people say.
How did I not find her early. She’s refreshing to watch, she seem approachable, very kind, smart and beautiful. This is the kind of doctor you’re not intimidated with when visiting for appointment. Wonderful manners! I love you Jessie.
She's not really a doctor she's a biochemist. She's trained in a part the scientific research doctors rely on to do their job. You could call her a specialist, not really generalist enough to take appointments like a doctor does but all the better trained at what she's talking about. So communicating her field of science like she does is all fine, just have a chat with your doctor as well if your body reacts in a bad way to advice that probably works for most of us.
It's amazing how she breaks down the relationship between sugar and the body! Her explanations are clear and engaging, making complex concepts easy to understand. She highlights the impacts of sugar on energy levels, mood, and overall health, empowering us to make informed choices. Her passion for the subject really shines through and inspires a healthier lifestyle👍🏽
Without a doubt this woman helped save my life. I was on the brink of literally eating and drinking myself into an early grave. Once I had my sleep apnoea treatment started, I was able to have more energy and I instantly started to get off the sugars in my diet. Don't get me wrong, I still have a little chocolate every day and some sweet treats on the weekends, but only after eating fibre/protein, and I go for a walk afterwards. Since last year, I've lost 35kg in weight - beaten back high blood pressure, diabetes, iron deficiency, and even got my lymphodeama really under control. Doing 12k steps minimum every day, working in a warehouse and I feel so much better. And I share Jesse's passion about these big concerns, and try to educate my fellows around me about this hidden danger. Seriously, thank you Jesse, and Steven, for helping us wake up and take better care of ourselves! 🙏
Stephen, I cannot thank you enough for asking Jessie questions surrounding PCOS. I was diagnosed a few years ago and felt utterly shameful that I must have eaten such a bad diet that I'd brought the conditions associated with it on by myself. Whilst I realise my diet could have been better, your much needed and relevant questions have given me a deep understanding of what I can do to improve my body and my life. I cried watching the PCOS section and shouted 'thank you so much Stephen!' I will be forever grateful to you and Jessie for this honest, informative and potentially life changing podcast. ❤
It's great that you recognize that we are all accountable for what shows up in our bodies to get our attention, we don't just catch illnesses and disease never randomly just shows up for no reason. Everything that goes on in the body is representing the level of connection we have to our own unconditional self-love self-value and self-worth. forgive yourself... because every one of us makes ourselves sick it doesn't come from an external thing or person, we are all accountable for what we choose to think.. which impacts our vibrational frequency, and how we choose to feel, and what we choose to put in our bodies. We are powerful empowered beings and doctors don't want us to know that because they need us dependent on their drugs which keep us in the system, big Pharma and government and media and marketing corporations are all in it together. And we're pretty much just fighting for our lives in an actual video game, especially going to a grocery store, we have to stay on the edges only, as we make our way around the store LOL I stopped contributing to the BS in society decades ago when I started hearing there was such a thing as a flu season LOL who the hell invented the flu season if people wash their hands, got high quality good absorbable vitamin C and got in the Sun for vitamin D, and got balanced rest, there'd be no such thing as a flu season LOL nobody catches things from one another, and things don't just naturally show up in our body, it's a sign because it's trying to get us to pay attention to our childhood trauma or neglect and repressed emotions as well. You might like flows and forms.com as a resource to get to the emotional cause mama and the organ that is associated with that emotion, of any ailment❤ anything that attacks the woman the organs like the breasts or uterus area etc, means we are not balanced in our divine feminine, there's some emotional wounding or trauma in regards to a female figure, typically it's the mother. doctors never make us well.. they don't know what root causes are.... instead they stifle and suppress, we are the only ones that heal ourselves, our bodies do the healing for us😊 as it is constantly trying to Keep Us Alive and healthy 24/7 but we interrupted with low vibrational inner self talk, negative thoughts, behaviors habits and old childhood programming that are stuck in our system, that need to be released
I am 66 years old - I learned I have type 2 diabetes a year ago - I cleaned out my cupboard of all food with sugar - every thing - started over and ate fiber first - eggs and sausage - sandwich apple peanuts for lunch - protein and broccoli for dinner - cut out coffee - drank only water and green tea - exercise 30 minutes every day - I actually reversed my diabetes - high blood pressures and lost weight in 4 months - now over a year later I am still losing weight slowly and my A1C became normal (board line pre diabetic) my doctor did not know what to think - my kids were proud and they started what I have done - I read so much and put this all together myself - I find it actually works for me - I also fast 16 hours and eat 8 hours
I never knew any of this but through my process - I learned the same thing she talks about it - and it made me think the world is killing everyone - with the food industry and the health system - it is all true -
I'm confused by "ate fiber first - eggs and sausage". Animal protein has NO fiber. Eggs and sausage have NO fiber! Where's the "fiber first"? Is it an eggs and sausage sandwich? Of course removing sugar, drinking only water and green tea, and exercise every day are all very beneficial. Good job! :)
Here i am in Kansas City- a 58 year old breast cancer survivor and many surgeries later now I have RA- I appreciated everything and i am going to actively try the changes! Thank you so much for all you are doing!
Look up the oxalate diet from Dr. Sally Norton. She has helped me with my arthritis by following a low oxalate diet. She explains everything you need to know. Good luck! Congratulations on beating cancer 🎉
Thanks Glucose Goddess and Stephen for a very useful sharing... Loved this podcast ... now I know why I eat the way I eat ... that's brilliant! What I learned : 1) have a savoury breakfast : something to create 4 hours of energy without food cravings 2) a tablespoon (ie 2 caps full from the bottle) of any edible vinegar in a large glass of water 10 minutes before a meal (or vinegar in a starter salad/vegetable dish) : the tummy enzymes slow down a little and the velocity of sucrose absorption into the blood slows 3) Have a veggie starter : the tummy gets lined with a protective coating which reduces the velocity of sucrose absorption 4) Move for 10 minutes after eating : calf crunches under a desk will work : dance a little and have fun ! : have a stroll 5) The order of eating is veggies , protein, sweet things : save that morning cookie for having as a sweet after the main meal 6) "Clothes on carbs" : have a slice of toast with something like avocado and not just by itself : beans and rice mix reduce the velocity of sucrose in take : mix grapes and cheese which is great to reduce sucrose velocity of absorption 7) Between meals snacks : have the snack with something else ... yogurt with the banana works 8) Keep those sweet things to end the meal 9) Have foods whole not too chopped up so your tummy gets to work well with fibre 10) For parents then be the role model for the kids : explain why the order of eating for is important : whats going on with the steps (1) .. (9) ... its going in to your kids for their future
Wow, I’ve seen Jessie interviewed before but I think this is the best one yet! I really appreciate how humble and nuanced she’s become. It’s refreshing to hear an expert say “I/we don’t know” occasionally! 👏
Weirdly they are interpreting sugar and insulin interactions - when in reality every cell in the body requires some quantity of glucose and that is the main thing; the liver can store roughly not more than 100 grams of glucose + some can go to muscles, that is the main bit of knowledge one need to know (apart from really ill people) so eat no more than 150 - 300 grams of carbs per day, perhaps occasionally going to low carb days on and off, and that's it, and avoid extra fats in the diet to be around +- 30gr per day that's it.
Isn’t she just fabulous at making complex info so easy to understand and so adorable ….. my new favourite scientist - I’m smiling at how easy these changes are to make immediately
My husband and I are watching this and are amazed by the incredible insights we've gained. I first began my fasting journey after seeing your interview with Dr. Mindy Pelz, and now, this interview has been another game-changer. My husband, who is in his 50s, was deeply moved when you asked the Glucose Goddess to share stories of individuals following her advice. Hearing about the man in his 50s with type 2 diabetes gave us both so much hope. It’s eye-opening to realize that some of the healthy foods we thought were helping him might actually be holding him back. Thank you for providing such valuable information and giving us the motivation to move forward. We’re excited to try these new hacks and make real progress. Stephen, your podcast has grown so much since I first discovered it last year, and the impact you’re making is greater than you might realize. Note to self: No more orange juice! And of course, enjoy your carrot cakes in moderation. One of my fave desserts :)
I think your guest today has saved my life. I am not obese and I do morning exercises but I do long crazy hours and live on energy boosts a lot. 4 years ago BANG diabetes 2 and very depressed. Totally opposite to say the least to my prior life long character of get up and go. Big bucks with doctors just didn’t resonate with me or were a complete waste of time and money. I know quick fixes don’t work but I loved listening to this and I am going to act on your advice. Last night I prayed asking God to help me break my awful mindset and at 2am I woke up and listened to this. A Guardian Angel put your uTube program on right in front of my eyes, on my phone and it has been a huge eye opener. THANK YOU. 🙏 THANK YOU GOD ❤🙏
I'm with you, chk859. I was born in 1959, to a mother who majored in Home Economics/Diet. For at least 40 years, my day started with orange juice and cereal. "HEALTHY" cereal like the brand 'Total.' O M G!! It's all sugar man! Yes, God DID lead you to this video, because he wants you to be well! You had ears to listen- not all do.
Im vegetarian of Mexican descent. I eat fruit everyday such as mangos, papayas, avacados, pina, etc. I have been vegetarian for 28 years. I have zero chronic diseases, illnesses, mental health challenges, smooth transition into perimenopause. I have beautiful skin, thick shinny curly hair, and a lovely figure. I walk, do breathwork and gentle yoga. No makeup or chemical products for hair, skin and nails. My point, fruit is an important, nourishing and healthful food in my life. Fruit is not just sugar. It has a whole host of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants. I believe the fruit I eat supports my skin, hair and nail health. I support folks if no fruit works best for you. For me, it works.
Perhaps abstaining from sugar in processed food kept you from becoming sensitive to sugar from all sources. Decades of bad eating adds up. I've eliminated sugar and gluten in my diet, and find it best to eat berries and an occasional fig. I was a sugar addict for decades.
I’m 67 yrs old. I’m surprised I didn’t die in my 20s or 30s. I’ve spent a LARGE portion of my life eating sweets, carbs, junk food. My cartilage must be black. Dark black. If ever I’ve heard of a good reason to eat healthier, I’ve heard it now. To say I fear being dead, ie; being done with this thing called life, is an understatement. This interview is what I’ve needed to hear. I wish I’d heard this information as a child. I don’t know if changing my diet at this late date can help extend my life - but it can’t hurt! Wish me luck!!! I’ll check back on my 100th birthday if I’m still around!!! 😊😅❤🎉
Your body is a super advanced machine put the right fuel it will surprise you with how quickly it heals you. You might actually live longer than you feared. ❤
I'm 36, my mom died at 59. So for me just passing that age is a goal. That's why this information is amazing, if any, it gives us hope and a better day to day experience.
Your body will feel the results of the change more and more over the next two years. After that your body will keep liking your better health and diet more every year. You may age backwards up to ten years or more. Exercise and load bearing exercise is very important in this process. You would probably be interested in watching/listening to Dr. Ford Brewer. He has aged backwards a lot and has a lot of excellent information. You would enjoy listening to his story on how and why he changed his diet and other important information. He is in the process of helping many people save their arteries and their lives from heart attack or stroke. He gets it.
Best interview EVER. Normally I dont manage to focus for more than 15 minutes but was riveted to this! The ease in which the Q&A went made the long video short. Might even watch again!
Last night my son asked me if I had one wish what would it be. I started to go with the classic ´world peace´ response, then realized no, if I had one wish I would heal our toxic food landscape. So insidious, so pervasive, so sad. Thank you GG for the work that you do.
i think its really perverse!!!. how its even legal. they just want money, and pharma loves it. dont trust anyone who get its paycheck from sellin poison. or from selling poison industries buying them out.
I wore a glucose monitor for 2 weeks and found that when I ate half an avocado before my breakfast (usually a bagel, egg, cheese sandwich) the glucose spike was tiny compared to without the avocado! Amazing what small changes can do for your health and how your body processes food and energy!
@chloebelle4923 I've only tried it with the avocado. My guess was that it was the fiber in the avocado? I'd like to do another glucose monitor and test out more things though! 👍
When she mentioned @1:17 that the corporations don't want people to die/get sick, that's not the same thing as saying they care about their consumers, because the only thing they truly care about is profit.
Jessie’s take on fruits is 100% right for some people. Me, for example and I know it for a fact from CGM readings. & I am not even prediabetic. Some bodies just do not see any difference between drinking bog standard juice or coke full of added sugar and organic wild apple or heritage grapes, which have not gone botanical selection for centuries (you can get these in bug wine-countries), some bodies respond to fruit (eaten after meals, with fatty stuff, no combo & hack works basically!) as cellular poison that it is, sugar spikes in the blood are higher from a little apple or one apricot than from a glass of sugary syrupy drink with no fibre. No sugar and no starches AT ALL is the only way for some. Health & peace to all 🙏🏻❤️
That was God in the cab in the mirror. You have changed my life and I’m grateful for watching this podcast. Thank you for what you’re doing. Keep doing it.
I don’t usually cry with anyone, but you made me cry. And I believe. It may have been an angel whispering in your ear. Our loving Creator works in many ways. I know you and Stephen have struck many cords with me in this brief encounter but have given me a tremendous amount of food for thought and on such an easy to understand level. Thank you! As I am sharing this with a few much loved people. I do have some questions but will reach out in another platform. You both are awesome and YES, we have been touched by God through you both so we can continue our journey with a sound state of mind. Forever grateful! ❤
Dr Berg had an interview with a man that had a CGM, he wanted to know what foods spiked his glucose. He also had a chart that showed how the number of diabetics has increased since the 1890's. The chart showed glucose intake stayed almost flat, what changed was the amount of hydrogenated oils increased since the 1890's, as margarine, Crisco, partly hydrogenated corn oil, sunflower oil, canola oil, "vegetable oil" poly-unsaturated oils. He increased olive oil real grass fed cow butter, and his glucose spikes were lower.
To Jesse. You and your books have changed my life. My health has improved immensely from implementing your hacks. When eating, I hear your voice telling me to put clothes on my carbs - I LOVE that!! You are SO powerful. I can't thank you enough. Please, keep doing what you are doing. Rochelle
Two beautiful people sharing their gifts with the world. I enjoy and learn from every Diary Of A CEO podcast, but this one was special. What you are doing is important and will change the lives and health of many. Prayers for your health, happiness, and success. ❤️
Hi from Sunny South Africa. Fun fact, the South African government introduced a sugar tax. Effectively, the drinks with more sugar cost more. This is in an attempt to reduce obesity in South Africa. Thank you for the great content on your channel.
Excellent interview . I watched many of her interviews and never got bored with her . Her hacks are very easy and useful . She is a passionate sensitive authentic human being .
Love Jessie's openness and expressiveness, not putting on a mask and not fearing to show vulnerability. It's human. Almost made me, too, cry at the end of the episode. My late mom spent her life managing a medical biochemistry lab at a local clinic. I still remember her advising diluted apple cider vinegar first thing in the morning to anyone with diabetes or high triglycerides/LDL cholesterol count. All the patients reported back success! I was a child, but remember people stopping us on the street and thanking her for the advice. Glad that someone finally proved it works! A big thanks to both of you for this interview, I enjoyed it :) And Jessie, don't give up - because it IS important! You've touched so many souls on this beautiful planet 💖 - and so have you, Steven, with all the knowledge you're sharing! Much Love!
She made it so easy to understand that. I have watched numerous shows to understand insulin, sugar, glucose process but I found this show easy which no one did it before. ❤ well done to her.
Love how she says she still has treats! I have a little dark chocolate every day 👍 I eat fruit but not every day, sometimes an apple, occasionally a banana. Love her knowledge.
This woman's studying changed my life and health specifically! Forever grateful to this channel and everyone who works on it because, thankfully to you all, I discovered her one year ago. God bless you in this life and in all others!!! Keep up the good work!
I've been following her for quite a while now, and since then, I've started practicing some of the hacks she shares. They’ve definitely helped me A LOT-from reducing cravings and feeling better after meals to improving my overall mood. She’s THE goddess!
Not only is the Glucose Goddess feeding us the BEST information to improve our health, but Steven is asking brilliant questions…the ones that are no doubt popping up in the minds of so many of us listening to this stellar interview! Thank you both so much, and well done on more than 7 million subscribers!, ☺️
Sorry but there are many things where she's wrong, completely wrong. She's not a dietetician and often she is giving incomplete information. Best example, the study she talks often about the order of food, she always forget an important part, the timing between each part... About health, i would trust more TIm Spector than her. Several of her claims have been debunked by dieteticians, doctors, and other specialists. Not everything she's saying is wrong, but she's far from the best person to give information about health and nutrition.
Two lovely people. I watched this on my lunch break in school, I have taken some notes and will be implementing the first 4 hacks straight away, and I am a lucky healthy 53 year old but I definitely suffer from brain fog and glucose spikes and my marriage suffers as a result, I shed at tear at the end with you because you are a wonderful warm human person. And acts of random kindness don't happen enough thank you for some fantastic information and advice and just generally two lovely people having an intelligent conversation.
Jessie , ever since I came across you. you have changed my life for the better. No more sweet breakfast has made such a great impact on my day and my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you! It was so lovely to see you here again
We need more people like this telling us truth! Just finished reading The 23 Former Doctor Truths by Lauren Clark. Its fascinating what they hide from society.
Jessie, Thank you seems so inadequate to express my gratitude for your work and compassion to share what you learned. You are without a doubt a God send to thousands that will heed your instruction. Please don't stop digging for the answers that our generation needs to a healthier life.
I love Diary Of A CEO! This channel has introduced me to so many knowledgeable and wonderful individuals. Steven is such a natural at this, Th-Ankhs for sharing your gift with the world, your show is making a great impact. I have learnt so much, I cannot imagine the world of knowledge without this show. Standing Ovation 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿♥️
Im an ecologist. The real problem is we dont go through famine. So animals will eat tons of fat and sugar in spring and summer, and even consume a lot of carbs through grains into the fall. But then winter comes, and they burn off their fat stores because there is no food. If you become more intuitive to your body and follow your natural rhythms, you might notice that appetite goes down in the winter as there is less light. The problem is we dont have winter like we would in nature. We dont run out of food, we dont get cold and have to shiver. If you want to be healthy you have to be natural. Eating local and in season is really the best way to live a healthy life. More fruits and veggies in spring and summer. Grains in the fall. Then fatty meat and root vegetables in winter.
to be healthy, you do have to be natural but to what extent. I don't think eating grains or vegetables is healthy no matter who you are. Also, what makes you think we need to shiver to be healthy? Even if it was the case, is the stress from the cold really worth the supposed benefits?
it's healthy to do ice baths and to swim in the freezing cold ocean everyday, or ice cold shower, I've only got myself up to 15 seconds so far LOL @@TquanAyethe goal is not to constantly be comfortable and look to achieve comfort, It takes away our ability to be creative and there can be no growth in a comfort zone.. that's no good for the body because then it's going to need to control the environment which it can never do in artificial ways, and what's going to happen the day that we can't turn the heat or the air conditioning up Etc🤔
I absolutely agree. I’d add that we should eat more vegetables, greens and fruits which grow in the country. They are quite unique for every country and give you most vitamins and nutrition.
I can confirm the positivity of Jessies’s recommendation to reduce sugar intake during menopause. Since I reduced sugar, cut out alcohol, increased fiber to 25 g/day, sleep to 7-8 hours/per day and 30 minutes of exercise per day ( increase heart rate), my hot flashes, brain fog, anxiety and insomnia are gone. Adding Jessie’s tips on food order has helped, too. Am trying the vinegar next. I want to build muscle now, so I am strong in my eighties. Just shared your episode with my teenage sons. Thank you for your continued efforts to spread awareness on healthy eating. You have improved the quality of my life tremendously!!!
They keep insisting that the menopause cannot make a difference re glucose & if you become diabetic then it's because of anything else. I disagree. Too many get diabetes when into menopause.
She doesn't care about the human body. She cares about the niche she found and monetasises it. There's also absolutely nothing wrong with that. But she's not doing it for the good of humanity
An excellent, sensible approach to eating no gimmicks, no dumb restrictions. I have a B.S. in nutrition and I love how well Jessie explains how to eat in an effective way to keep from having crashes during the day.
This was an excellent episode and I learned so much !!!! That woman is an Angel !!! Thank you guys so much , this is from a middle aged African American Woman who is so thankful and grateful for this entire episode !!! 🥰👌🏽💯
What’s funny is that I found Jessie just a few weeks ago and I’ve lost 3 lbs just by following the savory rule and the exercise. I’ve also been doing a few other things but I feel so good when I follow Jessie’s advice. I also adore her and how honest she is. She truly cares about others :)
At 17:57 she recommends aspartame as a glucose alternative. This might be helpful for glucose spikes, but aspartame is definitely detrimental to one's health. Stevia and monk fruit are definite alternatives, but the chemical, lab created sweeteners are not healthy alternatives for the body. I prefer to just drink water.
@@cassiasouza6544 nah, she said two of the four artificial sweeteners were bad. One being aspartame. But she later said she would still choose it over sugar.
She didn't recommend it. She mentioned them as in the list and told you it was linked to health issues. You shouldn't worry to watch videos this indepth without understanding to human conversations.
I grew up eating red and white grapes from the vine. And three types of plums, pears mulberries straight from the trees, and drinking home made grape juice. My grandparents made jams and preserves. Dried apricots etc. I am 52 now. I have clear bloods every year. I also lift weights for strength and conditioning. Natural sugars are fine. I don't have breakfast. I break fast around 10am weekdays. 12 is lunch. On weekends it's even later.
I have a clijic and work in the lab, i have good knowledge what happens inside the body. The point i want to say, this lady is amazing, she have a such good aura and the way she speak, you want to listen. Thank you for this video
This woman is so selfless and intelligent and wonderful. Her work is groundbreaking and the world should be paying attention. Getting on that book and formula. Thank you for once again bringing in a spectacular guest and keeping it engaging.
There is nothing groundbreaking about what she is saying. everybody knows cutting sugar, cutting alcohol increasing exercise and getting an appropriate amount of sleep is good for us
Fasting worked for me at age 58yrs but I also was having 11grams of protein in the form of collagen peptides in my coffee every morning and I would forget to eat until about 4:00pm! I did drink water constantly. I lost 45 lbs over an 18 month period and now it's my lifestyle at age 63 and have kept off the weight! I quit eating breakfast 7 years ago and have never looked back. I do cheat once in a while but it doesn't affect me negatively in the long run. This information is invaluable! Thank you!
Amazing episode, and so important work! I'm at the same age as both of you, and I've grown up with max 30% fat in food and 600 g veggies as the mantra... but no one ever cared for the sugar/starch level. Further, I'm deeply impressed by Jessie Inchauspé on how passionate and great a way she can translate academic findings into layman terms. I try to do the same as a chemical engineer in a slightly different field, but it is so damn hard - truly the passion is what gets it over the board and into the hearts and minds!
I’m a mother of 2 and expecting our third any day. I am and have been struggling with my sugar since gestational diabetes with my second. Pretty sure I had it before her but didn’t know. My son never ate sugar sweets candy etc. I made all his baby food from scratch and our deserts were always fruit and natural foods. He’s 9 now and is very mellow good natured and usually only has moments if he’s over tired or hungry. He also likes veggies and asks for them when he’s hungry. My daughter is obsessed with sweets cereals all the awful stuff. She does love steak but getting her to eat veggies turns into war. She is the complete opposite of her brother behavior wise and ive been noticing the difference much more lately. So I REALLY appreciate all this information. Even the part pertaining to to children. Doesn’t matter if you guys have any of your own. You don’t have to have your own to understand that children are also susceptible to toxic food habits. My kids are my world and their health matters to me. I’m not too proud to consider information coming from childless people. Thank you for this episode. !!
Wow this sounds just like myself and kids. My first is a veggie eater and doesn’t finish any desserts. We eat healthy and have made her baby food as well. I had gestational diabetes with my second and he is my sweet eater and carb lover. He will eat veggies and meat thankfully. I am not sure exactly how I became GD with my second pregnancy. I thought I ate healthy. Other than I can theorize my body wasn’t working properly because I was very low in D, iron, B6. Once I increased my vitamins during pregnancy it got better. I was able to manage my sugars, I felt better no more depression.
So childless women aint knowledgeable?? WTH? Am a mother of 2 and ive noticed that childless women are more intelligent and smart than us women with children and know more than we mothers know. So if I were you I'll listen and take the knowledge and keep it to myself than come attack a child free woman who's more smart than you are and you said your expecting baby number 3?? Take the knowledge woman you'll need it
Vegetables aren't necessarily healthy, they have some anti-nutrients, natural pesticides, and the nutrients are not necessarily bioavailable because we can't break them down. I've noticed my body does best with mostly meat and eggs and a little vegetables if I feel like it. I've also like pickled things like pickled cucumbers and pickled jalapenos. Every person reacts to food differently so it might be something in those vegetables that your daughter's body doesn't agree with. As for meat and eggs, our ancestors have always been eating those before even farming, it's nutritious and tasty. So yeah, toss out the sugary cereal and bring in more meat and she should be happy enough lol.
I am a dietitian and using a lot of the information I hear on podcasts like this one with my patients. I see great results. I am so grateful for all of these people coming on podcasts and sharing their knowledge with us. One thing to bear in mind is to always cross check the info before trusting every single word on here 😅
If you are really a dietitian (RD) with proper qualifications, 'bear in mind' that if you are not giving evidence-based treatments and advice, you can be sued. Probably a good thing to get malpractice insurance.
@@sandrab2589 oh my! Thank you so much for your very deep and thoughtful advice. I totally did not know that. I’m looking for malpractice insurance now. Any particular ones you’d recommend?
@@sandrab2589 maybe English is not her first language? Look, I'm not in a crusade to defend strangers, but I really hate to see comments that don't provide the benefit of the doubt, and go straight assuming that what they think is correct just because they say it. That's it. I'm a nutritionist and I "double check" any relevant info that might help my patients before just repeating what I hear in a podcast. All 👍🏻
My grandfather died at 94 with teeth intact. He never ate fast food, worked outside all the time, and he ate when he was hungry. He didn't do the 3 meals a day. Always a cup of coffee in the morning one to two meals a day. He loved cookies (homemade).
@@4lb280 All my grandparents were the same, lived into their 90's. Except one grandfather--he died in WWII. None of them ever went to a gym and I certainly never saw them run anywhere. My other grandfather retired at 65 and walked to the pub (about 1/2 mile away) every weekday and drank two pints of bitter with his mates, then he'd be back for a late lunch with grandma. She passed two years before he did, but he kept going to the pub where they now have a plaque above his table with his name on it. His last pint there was six weeks before he died.
Same! Italian grands lived til 92 (mommom) and 98 (poppop). They are Mediterranean, cooked at home (very rarely ate out), knew ingredients, fruits and veg were a staple. They did develop Western diseases living in America after age 20, but those first 20 years of clean eating real healthy food was key. And here I am w PCOS since I was a teen. Never understood how it happened bc I ate what my mother made me! We didn’t ingest much sugar. Now it’s my job to reverse it. I should move to Italy.
i can't stop staring at her glass skin. That alone is a testament to her practice of good health or ...young age. Very helpful info I learned here. Thank you.
I love that woman. I love her message. I love that she changes people's life for the better without judging anybody. It's so important. I am just very grateful people like Jessie and you, Steven exist and have a purpose and mission to help people become the best versions of themselves
I'm 77, and I would like her to come back at my age and see where she's at. So many of these health gurus are relatively young women. Get through life, loss, menopause, and then report. The reality is there is just no one way. Every body is different. There are generalities - don't eat rubbish, hydrate, don't o/d on sugar. But what suits people at different ages, of different genders, in different climates, of different cultures are all different. Living in sub-Saharan Africa, the populace don't obsess about glucose or grapes!!
Western world is plagued with pesticide and poisonous food in microdoses. This information is relevant to us. As a Moroccan, we have a lot of these “hacks” implemented in our culture and we drink green tea daily after meals. We also have grapes with seeds, etc. We don’t have issues with our bodies until your age. We realize too late that our habits were not healthy. In the west, we feel these symptoms earlier on due to the poisonous micro dosing. But you have a choice to live your life as you see fit. This information is useful at any age and at any location.
I'm 57 and I've known that sugar was a problem for me since my late teens/early 20s. It took my health to crash 15 years ago to start me on a journey to find out what was wrong with my diet and today I'm still tweaking and learning. A long winded way of agreeing with you 🙂
5. fiber intake first: veggies, proteins & fats, starches and sugars 6. Clothes on carbs 7. Savory snacks between meals 8. Eat sweets as a dessert at end of a meal and never on an empty stomach. 9. Eat fruit whole, not dried, juiced, or smoothied. idk what 10 was lol
1: Eat food in the right order: veggies first, protein second and carbs at the end. Eating fibers first slows down the absorption of carbs and therefore decreases the likelihood of a glucose spike. 2: Add a green starter to all your meals: The goal is to include more fiber in your meals which prevents a glucose spike. 3: Stop counting calories: Foods that are high in glucose could be low in calories and food high in calories could be low in carb but more fulfilling and beneficial for our body. For example a donut and cup of yogurt both contain 150 calories but the donut will cause a glucose spike but the yogurt will not because of the protein and fat content. 4: Flatten your breakfast curve: cereal with milk, fruit smoothie, muesli and fruit juice all cause a big glucose spike.A good breakfast that won't cause a glucose spike is usually savory and contains a good amount of fiber, fat, protein and optional starch and fruit. Our body is very sensitive to glucose following breakfast because it has been in a fasting state for a long time. Also, given how well maintained the glucose spike was after breakfast- our body is better able to manage the blood glucose level for the rest of the day. See image for examples. 5: All types of sugar are the same: Basically there is no difference between maple syrup, honey and white or brown sugar. One is not healthier than the other when it comes to causing glucose spikes. The best types of sweeteners that have no side effects on glucose and insulin levels are: Allulose, monk fruit sweetener, stevia (pure stevia extract), erythritol. Artificial sweeteners recommended to avoid are aspartame, maltitol., sucralose, xylitol, acesulfame-k. 6: Pick a dessert over a sweet snack: Taking a sweet snack over an empty stomach causes glucose spikes. If you are craving something sweet, take it after a meal as a dessert. 7: Reach for vinegar before you eat: Taking 1 tablespoon of vinegar in a tall glass of water taken before the meal (with a straw to avoid causing problems with tooth enamel) decreases the glucose spike. The acetic acid in vinegar temporarily deactivates alpha-amylase which is an enzyme that turns food into glucose in our body. Additionally, acetic acid encourages our muscle to take glucose faster than the bloodstream without releasing additional insulin. 8: After you eat, move: Doing a 20 minutes exercise within 70 minutes after a meal is shown to reduce glucose spikes. 9: If you have to snack, go savory: Most popular snacks like potato chips, granola bars etc are carb heavy and cause a glucose spike when taken as a snack. See the attached image for savory snack suggestions. 10: Put some clothes on the carb: When you have to get something on the go, choose meals that combine starches/ sugars with fat, protein and fiber. Basically putting some clothes on the carb and not taking them alone. Example, some apple/ pear with nut butter.
As a parent, I am grateful for both of your work. Last year, my family and I embark on a journey to better our health. It was difficult but with the knowledge you both shared my son's health has improved. ❤

One of the most impactful health podcasts you’ve done so far. All of them are impactful, but it seems this is baseline health that people should be starting with. I love that she has reasonably tasks to make massive change. I’ll definitely be sharing this one, already have. Thank you to you both!
Man, she made me cry here at the end. Jessie is such a wonderful person. Sending lots of love to you both!! It was a message from God! Even if he says it to everyone, it was his cab she got in, not the one after him.
I must say that both Steven and Jessie are two beautiful souls which the world would be worse off without. Truly enjoyed this episode. More importantly, enjoyed watching two people who care so much about making the world a better place for all of us.
* on sweet foods, we were NOT allowed them in my house. No juice no soft drinks lollies NOTHING. If we got a snack it would be a bag of crisps. I am super grateful to my mum for this. I never ever had a weight problem as I simply cannot tolerate sweet foods. I am 56 and 168 cm weight 55 kilograms. It is because our mother was so tough when we were kids and so this was normalised to eat well. You need to be strong and even if your kids complain now they will thank you when they are 56!!!!
The moment Jessie got emotional, I started sobbing with her. You can see she’s such a pure soul.. she’s here for a reason with an incredible message. She’s gained a new follower from me ❤
More like she thinks shes right based on same info that everyone has , but she could be wrong just like the people before her. Why else can a section of africa be surviving on mostly sugar for thousands of years.
Great conversation. A cautionary word for some listeners: if your diet and lifestyle is already very good, these hacks are not a license to eat chocolate cake. I"m sure a lot of people are helped. I am not one of them. After a couple of weeks of adding a few desserts AND the hacks, I was up about 5 lb. I really hate drinking vinegar water and I wonder if eating a dill pickle or two before the main meal wouldnt accomplish two of the hacks? Im going to keep these hacks in mind moving forward, but NOT add desserts. I am 66 years old and in good health. I just want to continue to enjoy good health as long as possible. My main goals are avoiding dementia and sarcopenia.

This has been known well since the American Indian wrote it down. They have a wealth of knowledge, but we’re persecuted.
I've met a lot of those too, but they never skipped breakfast, they skipped dinner or had a very light dinner.
I skip dinner, I rather eat breakfast (it's always healthier in the hotel)...
Its our job to guide our children in the right direction and that isnt always easy but its our role as parents...do the hard work now
Good job, I wish I knew when my kids are younger but they have learned along the way that they read the ingredients in foods and question the benefits
@RealHealthyHaven that's gorgeous and so valuable 💓💓💓 at least white thinking about it
good job you should be proud - I was never really taught how to eat right and used lots of processed foods not realizing how bad it was - wish I would have had all this information when my kids were young - our grocery stores - schools - hospitals do not follow the correct foods to feed people - but now I know and my kids follow and we have all benefited from my changes in life style - when I changed everything about myself and life style I never told them to do anything different - it was when they saw what happened to me they followed - people should do the research and do what they feel is right - I changed everything and I am healthier now then when I was in my 20s -
I had depression and anxiety from age 13 to 45 when I went on an elimination diet for chronic gut health issues and excluded all sugar for 4 months , and I never had depression again. Whatever FDA says I try to avoid it. I found myself in this rabbit hole of so many industry lies when I read "The 23 Former Doctor Truths". Its no wonder why Doctor left her career.
totally agree with you on that
also thanks for sharing that
I work in the med tech industry.
So avoid eggs, red meat and dairy.. got it !

She never will not have a job teaching about sugar.
In reality, people are sick, and they are tired largely because of the sugar industry, who, by the way, who will lose money if we would just follow her advice. Thus, we would definitely be healthier without them. Who or what will we believe. The sugar industry for profits or sound proven advice.

I cried watching the PCOS section and shouted 'thank you so much Stephen!'
I will be forever grateful to you and Jessie for this honest, informative and potentially life changing podcast. ❤
Thousands of women have healed from the metabolic disease of PCOS by eating high fat carnivore or ketovore diets. Look up Dr. Ken Berry on RUclips.
Keto or carnivore will cure PCOS in many cases.
And we're pretty much just fighting for our lives in an actual video game, especially going to a grocery store, we have to stay on the edges only, as we make our way around the store LOL
I stopped contributing to the BS in society decades ago when I started hearing there was such a thing as a flu season LOL who the hell invented the flu season if people wash their hands, got high quality good absorbable vitamin C and got in the Sun for vitamin D, and got balanced rest, there'd be no such thing as a flu season LOL nobody catches things from one another, and things don't just naturally show up in our body, it's a sign because it's trying to get us to pay attention to our childhood trauma or neglect and repressed emotions as well.
Good job! :)

Thanks Glucose Goddess and Stephen for a very useful sharing...
Loved this podcast ... now I know why I eat the way I eat ... that's brilliant!
What I learned :
1) have a savoury breakfast
: something to create 4 hours of energy without food cravings
2) a tablespoon (ie 2 caps full from the bottle) of any edible vinegar in a large glass of water 10 minutes before a meal (or vinegar in a starter salad/vegetable dish)
: the tummy enzymes slow down a little and the velocity of sucrose absorption into the blood slows
3) Have a veggie starter
: the tummy gets lined with a protective coating which reduces the velocity of sucrose absorption
4) Move for 10 minutes after eating
: calf crunches under a desk will work
: dance a little and have fun !
: have a stroll
5) The order of eating is veggies , protein, sweet things
: save that morning cookie for having as a sweet after the main meal
6) "Clothes on carbs"
: have a slice of toast with something like avocado and not just by itself
: beans and rice mix reduce the velocity of sucrose in take
: mix grapes and cheese which is great to reduce sucrose velocity of absorption
7) Between meals snacks
: have the snack with something else ... yogurt with the banana works
8) Keep those sweet things to end the meal
9) Have foods whole not too chopped up so your tummy gets to work well with fibre
10) For parents then be the role model for the kids
: explain why the order of eating for is important
: whats going on with the steps (1) .. (9) ... its going in to your kids for their future
Wow, I’ve seen Jessie interviewed before but I think this is the best one yet! I really appreciate how humble and nuanced she’s become. It’s refreshing to hear an expert say “I/we don’t know” occasionally! 👏
Weirdly they are interpreting sugar and insulin interactions - when in reality every cell in the body requires some quantity of glucose and that is the main thing; the liver can store roughly not more than 100 grams of glucose + some can go to muscles, that is the main bit of knowledge one need to know (apart from really ill people) so eat no more than 150 - 300 grams of carbs per day, perhaps occasionally going to low carb days on and off, and that's it, and avoid extra fats in the diet to be around +- 30gr per day that's it.
thank you for your support
Aside from the great message about fighting the glucose war, it's awesome to see someone (Jessie) who is so transparent, vulnerable, and real.
And good at marketing

I'll bet that you also eat a plethora of vegetables.

Good luck, you are never to old to enjoy life😊
Your body is a super advanced machine put the right fuel it will surprise you with how quickly it heals you. You might actually live longer than you feared. ❤
🥇🙏

I wore a glucose monitor for 2 weeks and found that when I ate half an avocado before my breakfast (usually a bagel, egg, cheese sandwich) the glucose spike was tiny compared to without the avocado! Amazing what small changes can do for your health and how your body processes food and energy!
Good to know! I imagine it was the fat. Have you tried this with any other high fat food besides and avocado?
@chloebelle4923 I've only tried it with the avocado. My guess was that it was the fiber in the avocado? I'd like to do another glucose monitor and test out more things though! 👍
Good point!Thank you .
Fats through cheese, coconut oil, avocado oil and olive oil, even some nuts can also do that. No spike or very small spike.

@@kayleung5722look how aged Barbara is ! She’s a lovely person, means well but fruit and veggies are very very toxic….oxalates!

Thanks for sharing

Sorry but there are many things where she's wrong, completely wrong. She's not a dietetician and often she is giving incomplete information.

At 17:57 she recommends aspartame as a glucose alternative. This might be helpful for glucose spikes, but aspartame is definitely detrimental to one's health. Stevia and monk fruit are definite alternatives, but the chemical, lab created sweeteners are not healthy alternatives for the body. I prefer to just drink water.
She goes back and calls it bad a bit later, but it's definitely a crazy narrow view of health to suggest aspartame is less bad for you than sugar

Jessie Inchauspé is the best and her heart is so pure. She genuinely just wants to help and educate many people she can. Amazing podcast. Thank you 🙏🏼
This woman is so selfless and intelligent and wonderful. Her work is groundbreaking and the world should be paying attention.
Getting on that book and formula.
Thank you for once again bringing in a spectacular guest and keeping it engaging.

Not really no.
Human randomized control studies alway disagree with this type of rhetoric
Books sell and so do her supplements and that is revenue.
Selfless? 😂😂😂
Omg the chemistry. Can’t be avoided. She seems like such an angel.
I don't think so. Lol.
I’m not too proud to consider information coming from child obsessed people either. They may have moments of clarity 😂

So impressed
More impressed she spoke so fluently and eloquently in English
@@sandrab2589 I think that's what she means with cross checking the information...????
@@catherinegotuzzo That's not the terminology commonly used in the medical profession, which makes me think she isn't really a qualified dietitian.
I'm with your Grandfather. All of this jargon will make a person crazy. Eat whole foods when hungry, keep moving, and enjoy a cookie once n a while:)
I'm betting he ate all of the eggs bacon butter etc that he wanted or desired.
Doesn't have to be related, some people just have amazing teeth their whole lives no matter what
i can't stop staring at her glass skin. That alone is a testament to her practice of good health or ...young age. Very helpful info I learned here. Thank you.
she works for Vichy too :P
Genetics!! She's white 😁

This is by far the best health advice on the Internet. Absolutely brilliant interview
I love that woman. I love her message. I love that she changes people's life for the better without judging anybody. It's so important. I am just very grateful people like Jessie and you, Steven exist and have a purpose and mission to help people become the best versions of themselves
I dont trust the theory at all. There is something missing.
@@jaycubade she is doing a lot of damage to people who trust her
I'm 77, and I would like her to come back at my age and see where she's at.
Well said . . .
Check out the Gerson's
Because the gratis are not the ones we eat, highly bred for sugar.
A long winded way of agreeing with you 🙂
4 most important hacks to reverse PCOS:
1. Savoury breakfasts
2. Vinegar once a day
3. Veggie starters
4. Moving after eating
Thank you!
Thank you I'm getting some apple cider vinegar i have suffered from pcos for over 18 years
❤
5. fiber intake first: veggies, proteins & fats, starches and sugars
6. Clothes on carbs
7. Savory snacks between meals
Isnt she just delightful! So concise and informative and a joy to learn from.
As a parent, I am grateful for both of your work. Last year, my family and I embark on a journey to better our health. It was difficult but with the knowledge you both shared my son's health has improved. ❤
She is so on point ,first time I've heard that someone doesn't exaggerate about food restrictions👍🏻🍎🍎
I could listen to Jessie say the word Glucose all day long. She makes so much sense, is so soothing to listen to, to boot. I'm hoping by applying these hacks I can get my inner health in shape!
Also, eat only meat
I’m watching this video a month after its release, and you’re at 8 million subs-so you gained 1 million subs in just one month? Nice job, dude! You truly deserve every one of us and more! Great interviews as always, it’s a pleasure to watch. Keep up the fantastic content!
Crying too. Of all the cabs she could have gotten, it was his...in that moment.
God doesn't want you to drink poison diet sodas!
She has made such a difference in my health. I’ve never felt better!
Same here
Yep
I think this only applies to people who eat really bad from the start
Crisps are cooked in seed oils which are not good for you. Will cause inflammation. Avoid.
The moment Jessie got emotional, I started sobbing with her. You can see she’s such a pure soul.. she’s here for a reason with an incredible message. She’s gained a new follower from me ❤

What a beautiful person this lady is. She is my hero. And so is Steven.
