It is warm and comforting. I usually drink it in the late afternoon when I need a moment to pause and get centered. It feels like a mini self-care retreat where I take time to nurture myself.

Okay so I decided to follow all her tips the last 3 weeks and I have never felt better and have lost 11 lbs. I have tried every diet but could not stick with it for more than a day because I love soda and brownies. So what I have done is eat 2 meals, start with 1 tbsp of acv in 8 oz of water, then eat a cup of broccoli, then chicken or beef, rice or potatoes, and then I let myself have a soda and a treat (brownie or chocolate). I then walk around the house for at least 10 minutes. I feel so much better, I can finally sleep, and my insatiable sugar cravings are much more manageable. I have been easily able to stick with it because it is telling me how to eat my sugar instead of trying to cut it out completely. This has changed my life and now I am down to just 1 soda a day at my 1st meal when I used to drink almost a liter a day.
I’m glad she mentioned that intermittent fasting is a stressor for women. I’ve felt gaslighted by men on this. Everyone thinks that what works for them, works for everyone and it’s very frustrating.
I think that intermittent fasting is also quite misunderstood. If you have dinner let's say around 5pm and eat breakfast around 7 pm, your body actually did intermittent fasting for over 12 hours.
Finally a healthy way to look at what I'm eating and not feeling pressure of the multiple diets I have done for 40+ years! Thank you for your kindness and wisdom.

She said smoothies create a spike but what if you use the whole fruit juice and pulp. Does it still create the spike? Cause I am still eating the fiber
@@patriciacurtis3389 Chewing fruit and mixing it with saliva in the mouth produces a different type of pre-digestion than mechanically cutting the fibers and then swallow them.
@@patriciacurtis3389the difference is that in smoothies the fiber is chopped up And you are drinking it which means it gets in faster which is worse than getting it in slowly and non-chopped as when you eat the fruit normally.
This was the best take on how the glucose spike happens. I never used to think about what food I ate untill I gained 50 lbs. Im 68 and with that weight gain came back pain, other aches and pains, headaches and weakness. I started looking at Ketovore, Ketogenic, and Carnivore. I really dont like going by a "diet" Have lost a few pounds but fine restrictive diets to stressful. You brought up memories of how I used to eat as a child. As my grandparents did, breakfast was savory, a meal of sausages or bacon or both, eggs, potatoes and homemade biscuits made that morning and a piece of fruit if needed. Lunch was usually a meal of a small raw salad to start, a small bowl of soup and meat, rice or potatoes, a few vegetables and a small bowl of fruit for desert, Supper was never past 6pm and little lighter than lunch. None of the the family, Grandparents to children were overweight. We were all very happy. We also didnt snack, Chocolate was a treatt for Christmas and Easter and pop was rare. A few a year. Im going back to the way I used to eat.
Good luck guys, you've obviously not considered how food has changed over the last 50-100 years and how addicted the vast majority of the western world are to sugar. I just wonder if you have considered how dependant these people are to the dopamine hit and how disciplined you have to be to follow your suggestion. It's so much easier to just go and get a highly processed sugary meal from my local grocery shop and get my hit so I can chill and feel good for an hour or so. Lastly the 2 of you are obviously still very young and probably active so like me at that age could eat and drink what I want without obvious consequences. Let's see what you are like in your 50s and 60s , believe me it's a slippery slope. My advice do not keep your pet fox in the hen house it will eventually cost you.
I was about what you said. We used ti eat this way before, With My grandparents and older aunts and uncles. We really went off track over the years!!! Nice to know now what the track was and how to get back on it !

I'm a 70 yr old male whose been on a carnivore life style for 8 mths so literally no sugary (or carbs) BUT no more pain from my fibromyalgia or arthritis, lost 4inches off my waist, my grey hair is going darker and thicker, and amazing clarity of thought and extra energy.......I eat 18/6 with no effort and no need to count carbs or calories....... it's done it for me
I have done that I can't for me I was thin lost weight. Now I eat carbs and follow Coach Greg and Dr Mike Israetel two body builders and for the first time my body composition is responding pretty well and i can wear shorts sleeves shorts and I have muscle mass. I thank them a lot.
I've healed from autoimmune disease through the carnivore diet so I don't doubt the good it's done for you. What's really great about this information is that if it ever happens that you decide you would like to reintroduce a more omnivorous way of eating that you can do so without completely wrecking all of the great work and healing your body has done on the carnivore diet.
My new favorite word is now "Glycated" (turning brown on the inside) 😥That really got me. I think I heard more beneficial information from this one hour than I have from all the diet books and programs I've gone through for decades. I'm going to do every hack she recommends and see what happens.

Eating vegetables first, followed by protein, then carbs work for me. By the time I finished the veg and protein, I’m full and don’t even feel like finishing the carb.
Now I understand why my Maltese mother used to give me fresh fish, mushrooms, beans, eggs, and even chicken and broccoli for breakfast as a child before school and always, always, a salad bowl on the table for the evening meal that had to be put on my plate filling half of it and eaten first before anything else.
Not anymore now a days..Im not Maltese but My partner is Maltese.. I grew up basically like your when it comes to food..always had a good meal before going to school and go home for lunch. Never have experienced a lunchbox :) Our son used to have bfast ( weetabix) at home before school during his primary days..now savory bfast doesnt exist to basically almost Maltese😂

I found this interview about 3 weeks into my most recent 'enlightenment' and have enjoyed immediate benefits from eliminating almost all simple carbs and buying and preparing whole vegetables, grains and fruits. I have Mindy’s book fasting like a girl and it just seemed too complicated to me. I’m sure it’s good but hard to implement especially for busy people like me. I’ve done a combination of low carb and extended and intermittent fasting which is easier for me but apparently not the best for hormones. I have about 15 pounds left to lose. So many contradicting voices in the low carb space. Just can’t implement these busier regimens right now as I’m following a simpler regimen to survive.

As iranian, we make vinegar interesting, either we put in salad and eat before food, or we make Turshi. Turshi is fermanted vegtable like coliflower and carrot and celery, etc in vinegar.

Yes! I'm an eating disorder therapist and I struggle with food issues myself. On New Year's eve, I started a flu. 3 days in bed with fever, then slow recovery. The oddest thing is, I lost my sweet tooth of 70 years. I live an active life in Sicily, and still have a pistachio cornetto for breakfast (oops). But no cakes or biscuits anymore; no withdrawal symptoms. I don't weigh or measure myself. But trousers and a skirt that I couldn't zip up in December now fit me
One of the best health explanation ive heard, and I've heard many. When you think about it, it makes good sense. Its not what you do its how you do it, and its workable. Fasting made me have horrible anxiety and horrible panic attacks. At the time I was already stressed and this made it worse. I’ve kind of being doing what she’s saying unknowingly and I feel a much better.
That's because you were detoxing too fast. Learn how to fast properly or even better eat the correct food and you wont ever need to fast, which is not natural anyway. Hint - humans ARE carnivores.
First time it happened felt like dying to me. Then I spent a few years detoxing from carbs, slowly but surely. I tried again, and a completely different experience, no cravings, no mood swings, beautiful energy. But I had to tackle my sugar addiction first, I guess.

In native East Indian language, Gujarati, there is an age old proverb, which says, "Paani evi Vaani and Anna evu Man"! Paani means water, Vaani is speech/dialect, Anna is food and Man is Mind and 'evi', 'evu' means 'like'! Your speech/dialect depends on the water you drink, meaning the dialect changes depending the region you come from, eg: Southerners have a different accent, though the language is the same! The second part says that the food you eat has an effect on your mind! In Ayurveda, the food is divided into three categories, Saatvic, Rajasic and Tamsic, based on how the food (or practically anything) affects one's mind, body and spirit! I forwarded this interview vdo to my friends, relatives and groups, too! Have not seen such a clean and clear food interview with the only good intention to save lives of many! We can see how passionate both are! Wish they had covered more for vegetarian breakfast and meals! Thanks again!

I’m 79 in May and lost about 15kg after adopting the ketogenic way of eating, avoiding as much as possible starchy carbs and sugar. This video reminds me of the way my parents fed me and my brothers, meat and veg, with a sweet dessert for dinner, bacon and eggs mainly for breakfast, sometimes cereal milk and sugar, and a salad sandwich for lunch. We never got fat eating this way. The proliferation of fast food and sugary snacks and the horrendous advice of the food pyramid turned everything upside down. Fortunately, I learnt the truth about nutrition and am now healthier than ever. I’m still watching the video and it’s making a lot of sense. Cheers!

I’ve been following the Glucose Goddess for a while now and my insulin resistance is GONE! I’ve been on a weight loss journey for two years now but a year ago I reached a plateau. I’m on Ozempic, working out three times a week but the scales weren’t going down. I followed her hacks and the resistance is gone, my metabolism is faster and I celebrated the 32nd kilo off of my body just yesterday! Improving our diet and health needs consistency and sweet glucose hacks 😅🥰 thank you Goddess, and thank you Lewis for having her!

This is great, after doing 36 hours fasts and having a major gallbladder attack and the yo yo dieting I have been doing this in many ways and because I eat healthy I have not gained any weight. This adds some new great advice

My experience is that most French people eat healthily. I remember the period when they were recommending no fats in the diet and I was thinking 'the French cook with butter and they seem fine'. The Mediterranean diet is generally excellent too, with lots of olive oil. In Spain they say the 4 ingredients we should add to.meals every day are garlic, parsley, olive oil and lemon juice.

Yup, these are in the past strategies of my older generation on eating our food. It is nice to know and hear more of this. It means I am not weird. My friends always laugh at me because they think I'm on a strict diet, which is not true. It is just the way of my life because I learned the strategies from my old folks.
My back injury and the surgery after was a wild ride, sent my down my healing and spiritual journey! No one tells you how hard it is on the body and mind tho.
LOVE the talk about the negative relationship a lot of people have about food and weight. We’ve lost enjoyment and freedom with food. One thought I have - I learned from my homeopathic doctor that if you have digestive issues it is problematic to consume simple carbs with protein/fats. This is because the simple carbs digest faster than the protein, so they sit in the small intestine for too long while the proteins are still digesting, and it putrefies, causing inflammation, gas, and leaky gut. I’d love to hear someone’s thoughts on this!

Sugar is a preservative & is functional in processed foods. I worked for a biscuit (cookie) company & always wondered why people got hooked on sweet snacks. I never had a sweet tooth I guess I am just lucky.
Try finding crackers or bread without added sugar, at a good price. And when you visit friends, try demanding they feed you bread that doesn't have sugar added. Even popular brands (e.g. Windsor salt) of SALT has sugar added! So what do you do, give up for yourself and the kids eating everywhere outside of what you prepare at home? The industry has a responsibility to us. E.g. Kellogs didn't want to add sugar to corn flakes, but his company overruled him. For shame.@@Butterflylovely5
Its not as easy a choice as you make out i cant even pick a pack of meat up for my sandwiches that has not got sugar in it, even a pack of plain cooked chicken legs has brown sugar on it. When you are living on a budget you cant afford the best meats from a butcher and have the oven every day cooking it.@@Butterflylovely5

Whole food is what she meant. Plant-based processed food is NOT one of them. Plant-based "processed" meat and cheese is crazy BS. You cant imagine what they put in there to make your peas taste and look like a patty and label it "organic".
@@wins_sison of course its healthier eating whole fruits, vegetables and cool fresh food four yourself. But processed animal products are also insanely unhealthy and meat, milk etc. is also just not healthy for us and we don't need it. And many diseases come from animal products. That's a fact.

I drink a smoothie every morning for breakfast so I was a little worried when she said savory is the best. When she talked about pairing it, dressing it up, that made a lot of sense to me. Gr8 stuff, I do practise some of these principle regarding sugar cravings. I lost it one day & I craved chocolate. In the supermarket I started to divulge a large bar of choc. I decided to reach for a small bottle of apple cider vinegar (I had not diluted yet) Just a small amount- immediately the craving stopped! I wld not recommend undiluted apple cider vingar but I threw the rest of the bar away.

for me OMAD mixed with traditional wisdoms is insane. I give myself a 2 hour window of just eating whatever I want, but I can't repeat two things, so I usually start with fibrous greens (7 out of 10 times my salad looks like e.g. cabbage and spinach salad with carrots, tomatoes, apple cider vinegar and EV olive oil), ideally some soup or simple plain pasta (usually easy stuff like pumpkin soup, sweet potato soup, or pesto tagliatelle), main dish - protein (fish/meat/chicken) and some leaves or veggies, desert some fruit or sweet drink
She recommended a savory snack “like toast.” Isn’t bread glucose/carb? (Love this whole conversation though! She’s amazing and her voice is so soothing).
She said like avocado toast. So the carb is "dressed" with healthy fat and vegetable that is avocado and any other veggies you add to the avocado toast.

I'm just working on eating earlier instead of once late but I just eat more.
Everyone and their brother thinks they're a dietitian these days just because they go to the gym and are on a Paleo diet.

She said smoothies create a spike but what if you use the whole fruit juice and pulp. Does it still create the spike? Cause I am still eating the fiber
@@patriciacurtis3389 Chewing fruit and mixing it with saliva in the mouth produces a different type of pre-digestion than mechanically cutting the fibers and then swallow them.
@@patriciacurtis3389the difference is that in smoothies the fiber is chopped up And you are drinking it which means it gets in faster which is worse than getting it in slowly and non-chopped as when you eat the fruit normally.

You eat one orange. A smoothy has about 4 to 5 oranges. So you eat/drink a lot more calories!
This was the best take on how the glucose spike happens. I never used to think about what food I ate untill I gained 50 lbs. Im 68 and with that weight gain came back pain, other aches and pains, headaches and weakness. I started looking at Ketovore, Ketogenic, and Carnivore. I really dont like going by a "diet" Have lost a few pounds but fine restrictive diets to stressful.
You brought up memories of how I used to eat as a child. As my grandparents did, breakfast was savory, a meal of sausages or bacon or both, eggs, potatoes and homemade biscuits made that morning and a piece of fruit if needed. Lunch was usually a meal of a small raw salad to start, a small bowl of soup and meat, rice or potatoes, a few vegetables and a small bowl of fruit for desert, Supper was never past 6pm and little lighter than lunch. None of the the family, Grandparents to children were overweight. We were all very happy. We also didnt snack, Chocolate was a treatt for Christmas and Easter and pop was rare. A few a year. Im going back to the way I used to eat.
Any diet will work if you take out the PUFA. It's not the sugar. It's the unhealthy fat

Good luck guys, you've obviously not considered how food has changed over the last 50-100 years and how addicted the vast majority of the western world are to sugar. I just wonder if you have considered how dependant these people are to the dopamine hit and how disciplined you have to be to follow your suggestion. It's so much easier to just go and get a highly processed sugary meal from my local grocery shop and get my hit so I can chill and feel good for an hour or so. Lastly the 2 of you are obviously still very young and probably active so like me at that age could eat and drink what I want without obvious consequences. Let's see what you are like in your 50s and 60s , believe me it's a slippery slope. My advice do not keep your pet fox in the hen house it will eventually cost you.
I was about what you said. We used ti eat this way before, With My grandparents and older aunts and uncles. We really went off track over the years!!! Nice to know now what the track was and how to get back on it !

I'm a 70 yr old male whose been on a carnivore life style for 8 mths so literally no sugary (or carbs) BUT no more pain from my fibromyalgia or arthritis, lost 4inches off my waist, my grey hair is going darker and thicker, and amazing clarity of thought and extra energy.......I eat 18/6 with no effort and no need to count carbs or calories....... it's done it for me
I have done that I can't for me I was thin lost weight. Now I eat carbs and follow Coach Greg and Dr Mike Israetel two body builders and for the first time my body composition is responding pretty well and i can wear shorts sleeves shorts and I have muscle mass. I thank them a lot.

I've healed from autoimmune disease through the carnivore diet so I don't doubt the good it's done for you.
What's really great about this information is that if it ever happens that you decide you would like to reintroduce a more omnivorous way of eating that you can do so without completely wrecking all of the great work and healing your body has done on the carnivore diet.

YES! I really appreciate how she managed to simplify those complex scientific concepts by providing a lucid and straightforward explanation along with a relatable example.
Eating vegetables first, followed by protein, then carbs work for me. By the time I finished the veg and protein, I’m full and don’t even feel like finishing the carb.
Now I understand why my Maltese mother used to give me fresh fish, mushrooms, beans, eggs, and even chicken and broccoli for breakfast as a child before school and always, always, a salad bowl on the table for the evening meal that had to be put on my plate filling half of it and eaten first before anything else.
Not anymore now a days..Im not Maltese but My partner is Maltese.. I grew up basically like your when it comes to food..always had a good meal before going to school and go home for lunch. Never have experienced a lunchbox :) Our son used to have bfast ( weetabix) at home before school during his primary days..now savory bfast doesnt exist to basically almost Maltese😂

I found this interview about 3 weeks into my most recent 'enlightenment' and have enjoyed immediate benefits from eliminating almost all simple carbs and buying and preparing whole vegetables, grains and fruits. Reinforcement is welcomed! I am trying to share my 'new'found knowledge with my family, or anyone with whom I discuss food. I was eating way too much sugar and bread, getting the jitters and always hungry. Things are stabilizing and EVERYTHING is improving. I have Mindy’s book fasting like a girl and it just seemed too complicated to me. I’m sure it’s good but hard to implement especially for busy people like me. I’ve done a combination of low carb and extended and intermittent fasting which is easier for me but apparently not the best for hormones. I have about 15 pounds left to lose. So many contradicting voices in the low carb space. Just can’t implement these busier regimens right now as I’m following a simpler regimen to survive.

As iranian, we make vinegar interesting, either we put in salad and eat before food, or we make Turshi. Turshi is fermanted vegtable like coliflower and carrot and celery, etc in vinegar.

Good information, mental health problems that comes with glucose spike is much more serious than just gaining a few pounds, weight gain is a symptom of sugar addiction! Sugar is addiction problem, it starts at early stages of life, kids, youths, babies are feed all these sugary foods! Kids having anxiety, depression, unable to concentrate, being hyper, sensitive, ……

On New Year's eve, I started a flu. 3 days in bed with fever, then slow recovery. The oddest thing is, I lost my sweet tooth of 70 years. I live an active life in Sicily, and still have a pistachio cornetto for breakfast (oops). But no cakes or biscuits anymore; no withdrawal symptoms. I don't weigh or measure myself. But trousers and a skirt that I couldn't zip up in December now fit me

One of the best health explanation ive heard, and I've heard many. When you think about it, it makes good sense. Its not what you do its how you do it, and its workable. Everybody is different and what may work well for one may not work at all for another. Great interview, clear cut info. Thank you, much appreciated.
Fasting made me have horrible anxiety and horrible panic attacks. At the time I was already stressed and this made it worse. I’ve kind of being doing what she’s saying unknowingly and I feel a much better.
That's because you were detoxing too fast. Learn how to fast properly or even better eat the correct food and you wont ever need to fast, which is not natural anyway.
Hint - humans ARE carnivores.
It doesn't mean it's bad for you. You just did it in bad Way.
First time it happened felt like dying to me. Then I spent a few years detoxing from carbs, slowly but surely. I tried again, and a completely different experience, no cravings, no mood swings, beautiful energy. But I had to tackle my sugar addiction first, I guess.

Thanks Jessie and Lewis for the superb interview! She is not hiding info to sell her book! Strongly agree with her when she says (sort of), we are what we eat! In native East Indian language, Gujarati, there is an age old proverb, which says, "Paani evi Vaani and Anna evu Man"! Paani means water, Vaani is speech/dialect, Anna is food and Man is Mind and 'evi', 'evu' means 'like'! Your speech/dialect depends on the water you drink, meaning the dialect changes depending the region you come from, eg: Southerners have a different accent, though the language is the same! The second part says that the food you eat has an effect on your mind! In Ayurveda, the food is divided into three categories, Saatvic, Rajasic and Tamsic, based on how the food (or practically anything) affects one's mind, body and spirit! I forwarded this interview vdo to my friends, relatives and groups, too! Have not seen such a clean and clear food interview with the only good intention to save lives of many! We can see how passionate both are! Wish they had covered more for vegetarian breakfast and meals! Thanks again!

I’m 79 in May and lost about 15kg after adopting the ketogenic way of eating, avoiding as much as possible starchy carbs and sugar. This video reminds me of the way my parents fed me and my brothers, meat and veg, with a sweet dessert for dinner, bacon and eggs mainly for breakfast, sometimes cereal milk and sugar, and a salad sandwich for lunch. We never got fat eating this way. The proliferation of fast food and sugary snacks and the horrendous advice of the food pyramid turned everything upside down. Fortunately, I learnt the truth about nutrition and am now healthier than ever. I’m still watching the video and it’s making a lot of sense. Cheers!

I’ve been following the Glucose Goddess for a while now and my insulin resistance is GONE! I’ve been on a weight loss journey for two years now but a year ago I reached a plateau. I’m on Ozempic, working out three times a week but the scales weren’t going down. I followed her hacks and the resistance is gone, my metabolism is faster and I celebrated the 32nd kilo off of my body just yesterday! This is great, after doing 36 hours fasts and having a major gallbladder attack and the yo yo dieting I have been doing this in many ways and because I eat healthy I have not gained any weight. This adds some new great advice

My experience is that most French people eat healthily. I remember the period when they were recommending no fats in the diet and I was thinking 'the French cook with butter and they seem fine'.
The Mediterranean diet is generally excellent too, with lots of olive oil. In Spain they say the 4 ingredients we should add to.meals every day are garlic, parsley, olive oil and lemon juice.

Yup, these are in the past strategies of my older generation on eating our food. It is nice to know and hear more of this. It means I am not weird. My friends always laugh at me because they think I'm on a strict diet, which is not true. It is just the way of my life because I learned the strategies from my old folks.

LOVE the talk about the negative relationship a lot of people have about food and weight. We’ve lost enjoyment and freedom with food.
One thought I have - I learned from my homeopathic doctor that if you have digestive issues it is problematic to consume simple carbs with protein/fats. This is because the simple carbs digest faster than the protein, so they sit in the small intestine for too long while the proteins are still digesting, and it putrefies, causing inflammation, gas, and leaky gut. I’d love to hear someone’s thoughts on this!

Sugar is a preservative & is functional in processed foods. I worked for a biscuit (cookie) company & always wondered why people got hooked on sweet snacks. I never had a sweet tooth I guess I am just lucky.
They? Whose they? It’s our responsibility to eat healthy it is a choice!
Try finding crackers or bread without added sugar, at a good price. And when you visit friends, try demanding they feed you bread that doesn't have sugar added. Even popular brands (e.g. Windsor salt) of SALT has sugar added! So what do you do, give up for yourself and the kids eating everywhere outside of what you prepare at home? The industry has a responsibility to us. E.g. Kellogs didn't want to add sugar to corn flakes, but his company overruled him. For shame.@@Butterflylovely5
Its not as easy a choice as you make out i cant even pick a pack of meat up for my sandwiches that has not got sugar in it, even a pack of plain cooked chicken legs has brown sugar on it. When you are living on a budget you cant afford the best meats from a butcher and have the oven every day cooking it.@@Butterflylovely5

There are already really tasty plant based alternatives for many animal products like milk, cheese, butter, meat, steaks, sausages, fish etc.
I love Jessies glucose hacks, her videos, book, and thank her for that, but like her veggie starter hack, we all would live also much healthier with a mainly plant based diet. There are already so many study results and living proof for that.

Whole food is what she meant. Plant-based processed food is NOT one of them. Plant-based "processed" meat and cheese is crazy BS. You cant imagine what they put in there to make your peas taste and look like a patty and label it "organic".
@@wins_sison of course its healthier eating whole fruits, vegetables and cool fresh food four yourself. But processed animal products are also insanely unhealthy and meat, milk etc. is also just not healthy for us and we don't need it. And many diseases come from animal products. That's a fact.
This is the longest but most educational RUclips video I’ve ever watched! Sent it to my family! So interesting. I drink a smoothie every morning for breakfast so I was a little worried when she said savory is the best. When she talked about pairing it, dressing it up, that made a lot of sense to me. All these hacks make so much sense everyone should follow them!

Gr8 stuff, I do practise some of these principle regarding sugar cravings. I lost it one day & I craved chocolate. In the supermarket I started to divulge a large bar of choc. I decided to reach for a small bottle of apple cider vinegar (I had not diluted yet) Just a small amount- immediately the craving stopped! I wld not recommend undiluted apple cider vingar but I threw the rest of the bar away.

Use vinegar as a chaser. I put water in my mouth then chase it with vinegar. Goes down easy, with minimal taste.

for me OMAD mixed with traditional wisdoms is insane.
I give myself a 2 hour window of just eating whatever I want, but I can't repeat two things, so I usually start with fibrous greens (7 out of 10 times my salad looks like e.g. cabbage and spinach salad with carrots, tomatoes, apple cider vinegar and EV olive oil), ideally some soup or simple plain pasta (usually easy stuff like pumpkin soup, sweet potato soup, or pesto tagliatelle), main dish - protein (fish/meat/chicken) and some leaves or veggies, desert some fruit or sweet drink

She said like avocado toast. So the carb is "dressed" with healthy fat and vegetable that is avocado and any other veggies you add to the avocado toast.
