    I have an Nbs crew cab with a flip kit and I ended up putting in 3/4 ton springs and absolutely love how it rides. I didn’t want to go the route of helper bags and dealing with all of that but needed a firmer ride. I’m happy with how it turned out.

      Sometimes they have a chevy lean. I sometimes trim some off the front string opposite side.

    • @realreviews5693
      @realreviews5693 Год назад

      There is a company that makes a drop kit that corrects the lean. The reason it leans is the spring perches in the factory a-frames are higher on one side. The 4/6 drop kit I saw replaces upper and lower a-frames and you reuse your factory springs. IHC is the company

    I have a flip kit in my rear with a lowering kit I got from RC but the guys that did the work installed a 2” lowering shackle I had laying around that didn’t come with the kit. It seems that 2” shackle is defeating the purpose cause I don’t see much difference. I’ve been told to use the stock shackle instead to get the correct drop t even a lift shackle for more drop since the leafs are flipped. Is it difficult to do that swap on the shackles only? • @abelramirez6521

    Are shock extenders needed for the flip kit or just optional???

  • @eddylokz5211
    @eddylokz5211 3 года назад

    Why did you have to remove the hanger? Would the flip kit not fit or would it just be too low for the type of c notch it has?

  • @CharmleysChopShop

    Can't you just cut the bolt and install a shorter one? And not have to touch the gas tank?

    I have an 05 Silverado, i also installed shock extenders from belltech and they only came with one long bolt and a tube washer that goes in the original shock holes, and didn't require makin that back hole🤔, might be different from this one but ur link says won't fit my 2 wheel drive 05 Silverado. You know why that is?
