Really GREAT instructions !!! I do the opposite and lift Trucks but Love Lowered Vehicles !!! Just thought there was a lot more to it but watching some people do it makes me want to try it ? Anyway You have done it a BUNCH of times so Yea you can knock one out Quick. Like I said GREAT Vid..
Thanks bud. Don’t be scared It’s all bout just doing it. You’ll never learn if your scared or don’t try. Ones you actually get it done it gives you this giant accomplished feeling it’s great. 😎
take a piece of poster board and make a templet for where you have to cut, and then you can basically just mark it a little easier than worrying about clamps shifting and overcutting.
With this kit did you have to adjust pinion angle or no problems? I’ve read some stuff about people snapping u joints and throwing driveshafts and I know higher end kits account for that pinion angle but I wasn’t able to find any info about that in the eBay descriptions where I just bought mine.
I see you are using the stock plate ontop instead of the one the flip kit comes with. Is that because the u bolts werent long enough? I had to do the same on mine but im thinking of getting longer u bolts. How is it holding up like that? Im alittle hesitant to drive it like that.
nice video, quick question. i have a bone stock 05 sierra single cab, looking to lower it. what drop do you think would work best where i dont have to get a new drive shaft made
Did you really need the c notch? Id like to do a 4" drop in the rear, which i guess i could achieve with the flip kit and some shackles to raise it a bit?
If u get helper bags to keep it off differential no u don’t need to notch it. Iv had a few trucks like that but it will bag on the frame if u don’t get the air just right
Yes a lil more back but I shave the diff Wer the leaf springs mounted normally so it clears just fine. Make sure you double check on yours so you don’t have to do wat I do.
arent you supposed to line it up with that block bolt on the bed then go back slightly cause the diff isnt exactly lined up with that block?? @@Lowbudgetbuildguy
@@JackShootsFr I shave the blocks on the diff so I don’t have Clarence issues. So even if your off a lil it’ll be fine. Just line it up as best you can bud.
@@Lowbudgetbuildguy oh okay because I got the flip kit you listed and ima get the same C notch you have and install them next Saturday might make a lil video
Yeah it’s easy without taking off the bed. Iv done a few. The u bolts I bought a different set I did not post that In the video. Got the u bolts at autozone

I’ll do that for sure on the next ones
Do you have to do the c notch for the flip kit 6 inch drop? Will it hit without it? I want to do the 4/6 drop but really don't want to do the cnotch
Yes u will need to c notch it. It’s easy just take your time bro.Loos the fear and get in there 😎

I haven’t had any issues but I did get shock extensions for the rear

2/4 is the easiest bud

with the flip kit ur automatically dropping it 6inches
You could get some 2 inch drop shackles along with 2 inch hangers to just have 4 inch in the back without needing a c notch

@@Lowbudgetbuildguy 200 for the kit and 60 for shipping
Prices do change I guess when I bought mine it was cheaper
So you really don’t have to remove the bed?
Nope not at all bud
How did you do the rear disc brakes?
U can take the diff from a 00 -07 Tahoe
Dont the notch gotta go back alittle bit?

Did yu line it up with the block of the bed?
yes if not it would be to far back
