I like the process of applying paint stripper first to remove the paint before sandblasting.

Wow. I've seen some satisfying sandblasting, but that was by far the most satisfying.

I would have so loved this toy when I was a child. I was obsessed with tow trucks (and cranes and similar types of vehicles). I dimly remember having a garage playset for vehicles of this scale.

I did have this when I was a kid. There were 4 or 5 appliances in the set (fire engine, ambulance, tow vehicle and fire chief's van). They were mostly red, the ambulance was white and they were awesome! The blue colour reminds me of the large dump truck (also Tonka) and the BuddyL tow truck. Great memories. Thanks.

A few moths ago I visited an antique mall here in Fort Worth and several of the booths had these in all the colors and styles. Vans , trucks, beach buggy…I didn’t pay attention to how much they were.
Not sure what you do with these lil toys when you’ve restored them but I hope some little boys gets to enjoy this one. So cute. And I’m gonna check out your new channel 🇺🇸👍🏼

It seems like the windshield is always broken on that model tonka .....glad parts are available...
A idea I found jewelry cable and chain from wish which is stainless steel but others a colored to look rusty works great on these restoration
Can't be true that there's not that many restorations happening on this channel very often.

I've missed your channel. Hope everything has been okay.
I have no idea if it's better to first chemically remove (with caustic soda or paint stripper) most of the paint, or to go straight to the sandblaster. I've noticed it's done on other RUclips restoration videos. Does it have to do with the quality or condition of the paint, or with the sandblasting material you are using, or with not wanting to dilute the blasting material that falls down with the paint particles, therefore making the material unfit for reusing?

What did you put in the water with the inside of the truck when you use the UV lights? Were those white marbles?
thinking about buying a sand blaster never used one lets say real time how long did it take to do that little truck
