Two years taken out of my life, fighting for my children, with whom I lost contact at that time. What was my wife's punishment for trying to destroy my life? None. Zero. As if nothing had happened. The system is setup to protect women who falsely accuse to ruin someone's life.
At the end of the day the system is rigged 6 ways from Sunday. There's always some shocking dead stop to getting justice.
I mean look at Depp. He proved what Amber Heard is like. Last I heard she's had 2 movies come out and she's cast in another Aquaman movie.
You just can't win. The system is specifically setup so you can't. They want it that way. It's not some mistake.
That's what men never get. You can't win at the end of the day. "Winning" is still losing. It's just whatever you managed to convince yourself would be a "win". Until you get it and your life is still fucked.

@@alexheller5602 I do believe this clarification video was sort of required, as speculation around his monstrous persona was flying around like crazy. He just plainly had to defend his image after all, so I wouldn't revoke the label of a hero in this context just because he summed up the facts of the situation he was accused of. All of it was a public threat to his image, so I think it does make sense he chose to wash the laundry in this video in front of us, but, in this specific context, it is truly heroic to go against the insane emotional damage you have been caused and just support your "enemy". If you really want to press hard on the definition of a "hero", I guess you could make an opposite argument, but, despite the really positive outlook he would probably get from this video, he would have still been really supported here without his help towards her health issues. Therefore, that was kind of unnecessary and he could have easily left her pay for her caused trouble, so I do think it was a valid act of heroism to still choose the forgiveness and loving route.

I got a letter in the mail that I was being charged with a felony for criminal damage to property after helping my neighbor prune 2 shrubs that were a safety violation. The felony was dismissed. But then, the police officer had me charged a second time on the municipal level. It went to trial and the municipal judge ordered me to pay the homeowner $7000 for pruning 2 shrubs which were required to be pruned.
I appealed the judgement at circuit court. The judge saw through the homeowner's scheme and said that I owed nothing.
This process took a year and a half and lots of time. Fortunately I defended myself and didn't have much for legal fees.

Getting swatted on top of that by making the mistake of constructively calling a incompetent person incompetent (in the naive perception they would take it constructive `as i would if i was showing incompetence) this all will add trauma that unless a pivot point gets created will stay with you for a lifetime and fester.
The mental health will be effected until you are out of the situation.
When the trauma and negative neurologic programing stops, the negative effects will get less with time but it never really goes away and damages every moment and decision you make in your further life.
If its Still ongoing this effect will only grow as we are mentally programmed by our environments, if you lack the very basic possibility to just move house to start a new life in a new home to change this state of being it becomes a self sustaining issue` that cant be broken without outside help.
No country in the world defends against this, perhaps individuals actions save lives by giving the small basic assists but this is structurally flawed and ingrained.
In the united states the legal possibility is even worse, it is actually a thing to sue someone `knowing it will not succeed, just to harass, take up time of life and stress someone to the point they dont even feel alive.

Meh, whether because he is too soft hearted or for whatever other background reason, he shows that people should give this a try, not the other way around, as there is little to no consequence in the end. If this video was supposed to discourage others from pulling this, it failed tbh. The sleazy attorneys pay 2.5k fine, wow big deal, what a joke. The perpetrator also gets a slap on the wrist basically, partly by OP's own choice for whatever reason, but also legally.
The OP is the one who suffered the most damage in the end because that's how society works. All that stress and emotional pain caused on him, all the reputational impact, years of having to deal with such bs, many others in his place would rather just cave in to not have to deal with it all, and this shows that it just might be the smart route to take if you have plenty of money to spare. Especially when the victory is pyrrhic at best, if you can even call it that.
I mean, why shouldn't others try their hands on this when they can get millions of dollars if they succeed, and a slap on the wrist if they fail as shown in this video? Is there any logical point to not trying this for anyone morally bankrupt? It's like a sleazy business venture with minimal risk. You get rich if you succeed, if not oh well...

Wow isn’t that black mail? Wow she should be in jail. Women like this make it difficult for actual victims to be taken seriously. I could never imagine accusing someone for something they didn’t do - hell I can’t even do it if something actually happened how do these women do this? I’m sorry you went through this but good for you for sticking to your guns!

As a victim who wasn't believed, it is gut-wrenching to hear of these cases. Every sexual harassment training I went to while in the army, there was a "guys" who asks, "what if she is just making it up"
This woman is the reason there is the guy who asks that question. It's disgusting.

Stop putting yourself in the center of every social issue you hear of.
Self victimization is also pretty disgusting and narcissistic

Problem is that not many men can afford a great attorney, and those same men usually struggle to handle court dates well due to a lack of flexibility. Public defenders are not usually enough.
I don't disagree with you, but in reality it isn't as simple as they just "should", which is why we see so many plea deals all the time despite the unfairness of it all. If the woman is willing to put a lot of money on the line to fight you in court, then it gets messy real fast.
