I just love how much it shows that you and Fred are so great together. So that is a good subtitle "Fred's favorite human" that's yours for free, I am happy to buy the book. Love to both of you! Great video as always!
Hi Harry, we made this! And it was amazing. Good date night meal/activity. We watched the video first then made it ourselves. A couple bits of feedback.. 1. I used the recipe text in the video to buy the ingredients in advance but oyster sauce is not mentioned (and I had to do a second trip to the store 🫠). 2. When you say in the video, ‘that’s a lot of chilli flakes’ I should have listened! It ended up being a very very spicy meal 🌶️ 😂 5/5 for taste and a fun/easy recipe to follow. I also confirm, that it goes well with beer 🍻
Funny I bet you hear this often but I live watching you do your efficient camp setup and once you cracked the beer and lounged with your dog I had to pause and take a picture as that was a strong visual for my life goals. Cheers!
Ok so actually made this for tea tonight. Absolute winner, but because I’m a fat knacker trying to drop some kegs I subbed out the noodles with shredded cabbage. Lots of chilli so we’ll se how that goes. Another one for the list and none left for the “dog”.
Chili crunch is a delicious addition to most foods. Definitely trying this out when I can find rice udon noodles since the wife is gluten free. My “dog” will be happy still though since he loves noddles and pork.
Great quick dish for when you get into camp late. But I think " The guy needs a stand for his gloves near the fire" so they are close and handy 🤣🤣 Cheers Dan
I love cooking your recipes when we are out bush, they always go down well. Also here are some suggestions for titles: Proud Prado owner, Ronny Dahl's mate.
Firstly I must say I love your 'dog' , great companion. Then you have hit me with my holy trinity - Garlic, Chili and Beer !!! Yeah, I like noodles too, another one for my camping list.
I too also have a Bull Arab dog. I love that Fred goes camping and is so chilled. A lot of places around me allow dogs but they usually have to be leashed up all the time. How do you find it with Fred just being able to wander around in the open bush?
Awesome dish you need to do a few more Korean dishes I absolutely love it the poor Dog always misses out when I cook Korean because of the garlic n onions 🧅 good work mate cheers 🍻
I retrieved some cooking recipes from a school I attended at the Oriental Hotel in Bangkok. Almost all the recipes were seven cloves of garlic and thirteen hot Chilles. It was only changed when we were making sweets. I know that Korean food follows many Thai examples (or whatever) and for your eight garlic cloves it was hard to judge the chillis as the were dried. I suppose there is a yardstick somewhere. thanks for the video.
Zhajiangmian is actually Chinese and it is eaten all over china. Even the Korean word for the dish 'Jajang-myeon' is derived from the Chinese word zhájiàng which means fried sauce.
