Try Lions Mane mushroom supplement. It has been a game changer for my 88yo Mom. She's a different person when taking it, if she forgets for a few days I can notice immediately. I got her a weekly pill container so she won't miss a day
Alzheimer's & dementia is also caused by aluminum in our brains, which causes the white brain matter. Baking soda detoxes aluminum. Take an Epsom salt soak with a cup of baking soda for 20 minutes, at least once a week. 🙏
My mom ate salmon all the time more than anyone I know it was her favorite food like 3 times a week .she now is suffering with alztimers so I don't know about all that just saying ❤❤❤❤❤
Also walnuts, flax seeds and chia seeds. For those disputing his facts, he did say 30% reduction in dementia cases; it is not 100%, unfortunately. Also the problem can start early in life and only show up later, so if a person's diet becomes more 'healthy' only later in life, it's benefits may be lower. It is very sad that it does happen at all though.

I don’t eat fish but you can get Omega 3 from Algae (that’s where the fish get it from too apparently) so vegans can also benefit from Omega 3. You can get it from good health food stores or Amazon. The brand I use is Nature’s Well. I’m in the UK 😊
Hi Chloe, Familial Altzeimers is prevalent in my genetics too. Im 60 yrs old and so far so good that i know of. My Mum was diagnosed in her early 60s with it along with her sister. My Grandfather also. Have you been tested for the gene? My sister has and she doesnt have it. I will be testing soon. I hope ive dodged it but I do worry about my children. Salmon, Mackerel, Sardines. I purchase canned non gmo sardines packed in olive oil. Salmon, preferably from Alaska (I hope) canned or fresh, and need to try Mackerel, which I ate as a child delicious in fried cakes with green peppers. My Mom is a fantastic cook.
I guess the only question is now: how to source oceanic fish that is free of heavy metals, or farmed fish that is free of disease, parasites and antibiotics.
I Pray that the GOOD LORD will keep all foods safe for you and me to eat, and especially the more vulnerable people in this world as until he calls us home we need healthy food to sustain us daily. Is there a persific prayer you use over your food or do you read a piece from bible over the food during preparation. ❤❤

There are so many little things I do now based on your advice 😊 My concern here, though, is that there may be a few drawbacks to eating ocean fish on a regular basis. Thanks to the huge amount of plastics and contaminants in the oceans due to human activity, some nutritionists are advising against more than a few servings of fish per month. I am a vegan who, to get Omega 3, has for a long time now substituted flaxseed oil for fish oil, and I take vitamin D supplements daily. Whether this is as effective as fish sources, I can't be sure, but I thought I should mention this. Thanks for all you do!

I’ve been increasing the good fat for my brain with avocado 🥑 oil, avocado with my eggs and more olive 🫒 oil. I’ll add salmon. I’d like to try some of the suggestions for meals as well.
Last month, I travelled to Japan. The markets were filled with the very same types of fish described here. No wonder the rate of dementia is lower there. The same applies in Korea. Unfortunately, most people in our culture have a strong aversion to real food.

I was having an allergic reaction to salmon. I was informed by person at the fish market to always ask if wild or farmed. Only buy wild fish which would either stop or knock out reaction to fish. No reaction with getting wild fish at all 🎉🎉yeah🎉🎉

👋🏻 Look on you tube abt the COCONUT OIL PROTOCOL for DEMENTIA which involves a few tablespoons full of it throughout the day for sufferers . In one video female doctor explains and shows how she drastically reduced her husbands bad dementia within a few months by feeding him coconut oil in his food ( I think its brain food also for Alzhiemers ) it has to be cold pressed Organic and its very cheap ( it can be used in baking instead of oil or butter ) . I don’t think you are supposed to fry with it because of the high temp needed . I buy it in a jar and slightly warm some to mix in milk which is ok or scrape some out to spread on toast with a topping . I eat eggs regularly because the special fats in the yolk help a lot to keep your eyes healthy ( the evil Drug COMPANIES suppress the info because there is NO PROFIT in keeping people healthy and it’s so cheap ! ) Love from England 🏴💕
