    For 5 years, I thought I had a tumor growing in my neck. I’ve had persistent pain for the last 5 months and just knew it had grown large enough to compress my nerves and cause cervical radiculopathy. A physician recommended this video and my life is forever changed. An hour after doing a few of the exercises, I FELT my muscles relax. I woke up pain free for the first time in months. 3 days after doing these exercises before bed, the knot in my SCM was GONE! I wept! All of my anxiety, fear, and pain…gone. I can get back to my hobbies, make it through the work day, and take care of my home. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!

      Yes. But with me it was a brain tumor!!!! I started getting headaches at 72. Never had headaches unless they had come along with fever flu etc.
      I have tinnitus....it's very troublesome.....but finding out I don't have a brain tumor is great....and a little silly!!!!...
      Thanks for your comment!!

      I'm a retired medical massage therapist(almost 30 years of practice). I was trained to care for this muscle. The therapy was complicated and not really teachable for self care at home for the average patient. This therapy is amazing. My neck was broken at age 2. Tinnitus has been a constant companion since. It has been so loud in the last year. I added some cross fiber therapy on the masseter(large jaw muscle) and the loudness of the tinnitus has steadily diminished! Thanks be to God! Such a relief! Thank you Doc!!!

    Ok… let me tell you something Dr. I rarely post anything in any video ever. Reason behind it is because nothing really impacts me significantly. With that being said, I’ve been having an excruciating pain in my mid back for probably years, but the last 3 days it’s gotten significantly worse, so much so, I almost went to the ER yesterday because the pain was unbearable truly. By the grace of God I found your video and my pain is almost non-existent!!!! Went from a 9 to a 1. I still have soreness but that’s from the tension of years and years of not stretching that area of my neck/back. Your video are gold and have changed my life drastically. I woke up happy and energized, alert and ready for the day with a clearer mind!!! I don’t understand the science behind it, but I can’t even imagine how great it will get if I do these exercises frequently!!!!!THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!! You have some serious gifts waiting for you in heaven!!! 😘 😉

Nothing worked or was only ever temporary. I just completed these exercises and my neck feels so loose and the pain is slowly releasing. I'm so amazed. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and techniques on a platform for so many. I'm so grateful. I'm eager to watch more of your videos!

My doctor told me about using exercises to release the stress on my Sternocleidomastoid muscle and I went online and found your video on this. You have helped me so much through the years with exercises that helped me with pain and breathing issues. Same!! I am experiencing this right now.. 😭 I woke up yesterday with a sore pain on my back.. really2 sore.. it comes from my chest and radiates to the back.. also I noticed I have difficulty on swallowing.. and I was thinking maybe I have a tumor somewhere in my chest that causes me to have problem in swallowing. I really overthink a lot.. I suspected lots of diseases like cancer or any other illness but what Doc Mandel Describes is really what I feel now. Also, I noticed I have neck pain as well when I lift up my head. It makes sense when Doc Mandel said it’s positioning. The last few days I keep looking on my phone. I almost have nothing done coz I really was busy with my phone and have some weird positions while looking on my phone and IPad and while laying down until I woke up with a sore back.😓 what Doc Mandel Said makes a lot of sense.. until now I have problem swallowing, I can swallow but seems there’s something on my neck.😢

      I've had two cervical fusions (15 years ago) and I can tell you I think that was the worst decision of my life, some people do ok, but made my pain much worse.

    I am shocked at the relief I feel after just trying this ONCE. I've been having headaches for a year and a half and have been to so many different doctors with no success.....PC, ENT, Neurologist, ortho, dentist (mouth piece for grinding), massage therapist, Chiro. I've had many different RX's also...no success. I even had surgery removing one inch of the artery on each side of my head...neuro doctor thought I might have temporal arteritis...tested negative and my hair finally grew back. I even had an ablation performed on my lower neck/shoulder area. Nothing has helped. Tonight I feel that there is hope for the pain I have endured all this time, to be relieved and maybe gone, at least lessened. Thank you Dr. Mandell. Wish you lived near me. I would become your patient.

      I really have a terrible body posture since my teenage age. It was due to chest pains i had as a child that made me bend in to ease the tension. Is there anyway i can correct this posture? I dont think 23 is too old to correct the posture, i just dont know how. It makes me too exhausted to work effectively

    • @everleighxoxox
      @everleighxoxox 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@Redeemed-youththere are lots of videos for correcting posture. One stretch/exercise I learned for correcting a hunched over posture is to stand tall like a T, with your arms straight out to the sides, 90° angles. Open your hands and face your palms almost upwards, you wanna basically be opening your arms wide and up if that makes sense. Then, while keeping your chin tucked in, try tilting your head back as far as you can. It’ll give you a great stretch and you should do this multiple times per day as an exercise.
      I don’t know if your posture is even hunched forward or not, I would assume so based on what you explained, but if it is, then you want to do stretches and exercises that open up your chest area, front of your neck and shoulders/arms. All those muscles get tight and stiff after so long of hunching forward.
      So regardless of your posture issues, follow the same general advice. Stretch and open up, and strengthen the muscles that aren’t being used, whichever way you tend to lean, whether it’s forward, backward, or sideways. But again, there are tons of posture correction videos on here. Good luck!!

      Sounds like you need a good osteopath! A good one can work miracles. Often there is a correlation between neck issues and organs, for instance tight diaphragm, but other things as well. A chiro or med. doctor doesn't know about those things, an osteopath does.

I do believe it's coming from my brain and not my ears as everyone would have us to believe along with the thought that there is no cure for tinitis. I wake up to it and I fall asleep. Music sort of drowns it out but the ringing is piercing that I can still hear if I focus in on it. It has affected my hearing and my ability to focus over the years.
