8:00 Learn more about brain health!
Let’s talk about the #1 food for the brain.
It’s a misconception that the brain can't regenerate-certain parts of the brain can regrow.
The top foods to avoid to support a healthy brain are:
1. Omega-6 fatty acids (soy oil, corn oil, canola oil, and cottonseed oil)
2. Sugar
3. Refined carbs
The best food to support brain health is wild-caught salmon.
Wild-caught salmon can help enhance the brain in many ways, including supporting:
• Memory
• Focus
• Thinking
• Problem-solving
• Learning
It may also be beneficial for those with mood disorders or brain inflammation. Consuming more wild-caught salmon may even help reduce insulin resistance, which is at the core of many brain problems.
The brain is the fattiest organ in the body. Omega-3 fatty acids are the healthy fats your brain needs. They’re the building blocks of your brain. Wild-caught salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
Wild-caught salmon is keto-friendly. It’s low-carb and has a good amount of protein and nutrients. But, to get these incredible benefits for the brain, be sure the salmon you choose is wild-caught and not farm-raised.
Try having your salmon with a kale salad topped with olive oil and unfortified nutritional yeast to take your brain health to the next level.

Thank you Fidel! 😻
Thank you so much for your time Fidel!
He didn't mention walnuts which are a powerful protector of the brain. Any foods that contain luteolin are particularly good. Dr. Berg is good but he misses a lot of things.
Mackerel in olive oil (EVOO preferred) has massive amount of O3.
Just be careful it's from N Atlantic and it's not king mackerel (top of food chain)
Did you know that arugula has more calcium and zinc than kale? It's also nutritionally equal to kale in iron and magnesium and has fewer carbohydrates and naturally occurring sugars.
Dr. Berg I keep seeing your commercials and saw you on a magazine recently. Congratulations you deserve all the success.
Just don't let fame go to your head like Dr. Oz did....
What magazine?
Dr.Berg I have discovered that these things are one of the same.
Tick Bite
Sugar
High Ph
High Water Saturation
As I receive the same Sidewinder Growl for each and same soft skin I must assume that they are one of the same.
Bacteria also can give me the Sidewinder Growl which in part is due to Brain Swelling as under heavy workload such as walking almost 5 hrs non-stop in the Sun carrying more the half my weight I found head over heating brought up the Sidewinder growl as well.
We should probably stop poisoning all of the fish so we can actually eat them 💡
So true. The oceans are the world's sewers. Poisoning a huge source of some of the best nutrient rich foods!
🎯🎯🎯
And Norwegian -farmed salmon is the most toxic food on the planet, that you can put into your body! 🤮
Farmed fish are like eating mud
The WEF does not approve of your statement and have deemed you as a terrorist against their global communist agenda.
Dr Berg, you changed my life! I’m down 35 pounds… leanest I’ve been in 25 years. I will post photos and story soon. THANK YOU! 💪🏼
Wonderful! Well done!
Thank you Doc. While growing up as kids it was common knowledge that kids who eat a lot of fish turn out to be smarter. Our grandparents preached this over and over.
Yes, they use to call it brain food and they were correct!
My mom used to tell me that. I was a very picky eater and thought she was fibbing.
That's why Japanese has better head
They eat fish more than any of us
My grandparents/family are from the Caribbean. They eat fish for lunch and dinner, the head also.

I eat wild caught Salmon by Safe Catch twice a week. When I started taking a high quality mushroom powder, which I add to my coffee, my brain fog went away.
Amazing. Thanks for sharing your experience here.
What mushroom powder do you use?

Thank you very much. Appreciate your support. Have a nice day!
I just got back from the Great Minnesota State Fair (again!) and spent a small fortune on an extra virgin olive oil where the owners of the booth farm the olives in a region next to the Mediterranean Sea. They said it has very high levels of polyphenols (700+) I literally bought it because of what I learned from this page. Thank you Dr Berg!
Thank you for sharing, your content is so interesting! I took notes for my family and our 3 kids ❤
Bless you as always for spreading the knowledge of health and possibly life extension.
LEARN so much from Dr Berg Thank You God Bless

I wish I could eat Sardines but they disgust me.
@@regaininglife9084Try salmon.
Thank you, doc!! That takes care of what I’ll have for dinner tonight!! Also growing lots of kale. Some for us, some for the hens.
Wonderful!
Thank you so much Dr.Berg
In ancient Irish folklore the salmon is referred to as "the salmon of knowledge".
True
You just wonder how they knew back then, but they DID.
Hazelnuts were associated also. Together, a great combination.
Dam right the IRISH ☘️ RULE
What a coincidence, Salmon have the highest homing abilities. Higher than a pigeon. They travel thousands of miles in ocean and find their origin to spawn.
lately as a result of all this keto talk, i have been buying wild-caught lox (salmon) and just eating it as it is, without anything accompanying it. that may sound odd, but really, it tastes great and is sooooooo satisfying, which kind of makes sense since it may be the most nutrient-dense food on the entire planet. about its only drawback is that it is rather expensive, so i eat only a few ounces of the stuff maybe once every two weeks or so
Thanks for giving us 🧠 advice

Hey Doc, I applied a lot of Ur tips in lowering cholesterol. Well, I got my bloodwork done & it is excellent. I also went from 270lbs to 205lbs & feel like I’m in my 20s again. I accomplished this all within 10 months. The doctor wanted me to go on medication originally to lower my cholesterol which I turned it down. Well the bottom line, Ur tips worked. Thank you & God bless you!
What were the tips for lowering cholesterol?
He has videos about lowering cholesterol. How specific do U want me to explain? This is what I sort of did:
-I didn’t eat after 6pm (fast)
-I ate 2x a day , 10am/5:30pm
-I went on the stationary bike for 30min to the point I was drenched in sweat. (5 or 6 days out of the week)
-I always biked at night when my Kids slept , slept well afterwards
-I STAYED away from bread, pasta, chips, snacks, & alcohol
-I tried to increase the protein, chicken , steak, fish, pork , & eggs
-always ate greens with meals
-ate healthy fats
-oatmeal
-organic olive oil & apple cider vinegar
-pistachios & cashews
-I also applied a David Goggins mindset
-I also did some push-ups , curls, & sit ups & eventually pull ups
-30 minutes exercise is key , get the blood flowing
-but the bottom line what worked for me might not work for U…
-don’t give up & never give in
Only supplement I had was organic protein powder occasionally, rarely & I took a multivitamin
Stay hydrated
-NO ice cream or sweets
now i get the idea as to what i really need 🥰
thank you Dr. Berg
Most welcome! Glad you found the video helpful.
Great informative video , live u dox❤
Thank you. Glad you like it. Thanks for watching!
This is an awesome video. I'm a clerk at a big supermarket. I can buy Wild Caught Samon everyday if I want at work. I think I will buy this once a week. And cook it in my air fryer power ninja oven. I've been taking Omega-3 fish oil for over 15 years everyday. Just think, I can buy this all in the video everyday at work.
That's great. Good for you. Wishing you good health!

I was preparing lunch one day at the office canteen and a woman was pouring sunflower oil all over her tin of tuna fish. I asked her what she was doing and she stated that she'd heard that fatty fish would help her to lose weight. If I only knew then, what I know now...
She read the headline but not the book.
Wild caught salmon has become crazy expensive. Last time I bought it I paid $27lbs and that was last year.
I pay $15 per pound in U.S. Arizona.
where are you paying $27 per pound. That is outrageous.
You may want to befriend a caring fisherman.
❤ Thank you, Dr. BERG!

Thank you Dr. Berg, as always. I know fresh salmon is best. Does canned wild caught salmon have any health benefit with omegas?
Wild Alaskan Salmon. John Westé®
Thank you!
You're welcome, Darlene!
I love it. Well done..👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you very much. Hope you learned something new here.
Krill oil. ive started taking this recently because it has the same benefits described here and apparently better for lowering cholesterol levels. the one I take also has Astaxanthin. could you possibly do a video where you mention something about Antarctic Krill Oil? Curious what you might have to say about it, if anything different.
Big greetings from Norway 🇳🇴 You are incredibly inspiring Dr Berg. We have some of the world's healthiest salmon, and the health benefits are incredible.
Sadly it seems all of your salmon is farm raised, far from healthy. I often wonder why your government allows it. In America we refuse to buy Norwegian salmon if we are looking for healthy salmon.
Lol your country has some of the worst salmon in the world, nobody that’s high iQ touches your farmed salmon
Exactly almost all are farmed. And the wild ones are super expensive
Dr berg you are too good
Wild caught salmon ❤ yum! Thanks Dr. Berg, awesome video!
Glad you like it!
I gave up meat for 7 years but still ate fish which was mainly wild & salmon the most I ate but I ended up with lots of neurological issues to the point of experiencing MS/Parkinsons/FND symptoms amongst many others. Within 2-3 months of returning to eating meat especially grass fed beef my symptoms improved massively though I still get some tingling in my left hand so I am not sure that Salmon is the No1 brain food for everyone.
Very insightful, glad you got better. I also don't listen to everything this doctor says He can be misleading others while intending good. Remember one man's meat is another man's poison. Even ketone diet is dangerous to other people.
Interesting. Did you manage to find any explanation? Did you e.g. have high levels of heavy metals like mercury etc. in your blood?
@@karstenburger9031 I don't know if the neurologist checked for those and I had lots of tests to determine what was causing it but all she could determine it wasn't MS etc. When walking it was like a sketch from the Monty Pythons 'Ministry of Silly Walks' it was so bizarre along with so many falls it was like I was a rag doll🥲. Both of my hands were so numb on my little fingers & index fingers from the tips to my wrists but that has improved ten fold too along with numerous other symptoms I was experiencing. But when my body got it's nutrients from the meat consumption again it started to right itself and I still continued to eat fish in my diet as I had previously which is usually about 2-3 times a week. I always try to only eat wild caught but I am sure that in todays world that probably is badly poisoned too🥲
Possibly heavy metals like mercury which has high concentrations in Wild fish. So while I agree with Dr. Berg fish might not be a solution for everyone, stick to land based pasture or wild animals. Eat Organic eggs it's the single most healthiest most bioavailable superfood for your brain this side of the Animal Kingdom😂
Sir can u make a video on how to make nutritional yeast at home ? There r some recipes on RUclips but I don’t know which one is right for natural occur b vitamins .

Dr berg is the best ❤.
yup, salmon and sardines once a week for me. I'm thinking the vegetable in the WH has never had any his entire life. stay strong people.
That’s so funny and true!
Dr. Berg, do you think we should avoid consuming hemp seeds because they are rich in omega-6? I add some to my Greek yogurt as a post-workout snack, but now I have doubts about it.
Never eat seeds they're full of phytates, oxalates and can prevent the absorption of nutrients.
Thank you for sharing this😂 amazing video
