I watched while eating my fatty salad. 😄When he said the number one thing to change is to be kind, I burst into tears. It was like salve for my soul. My life philosophy and work is to stand for and with people until they can stand on their own. Having a kind and compassionate mindset can literally change your health and your own life as well as the lives of others. Well done, you!!!

Lisa Allen your message resonated so ...we set ourselves up as hard nosed liberated achievers but we oft times forget that you can be the voice of the downtrodden and speak up, show up, be grateful but to be kind....wow that’s powerful. And that means even to ourselves. Kind to our children. Kind when we cut folk slack

Don't mean to nitpick with my comment. I want to say that I hope the day comes soon where reporting useful information to the public with compassion and kindness DOESN'T inherently minimize the information's credibility or veracity. They can coexist. Just because the information WASNT reported in an emotionless, robotic voice or demeanor doesn't mean it's not informed.

Thank you so much... I'm 67 and appreciate this wonderful information. I'm a vegetarian and worry about the food needs of my brain. Thank you Max for being a sensitive loving son with you mother. I have a millennium too. I always thought it was her Cancer birth sign control tendencies. My husband of 28 years died in my arms 2 1/2 years ago from a fatal heart attack. It was all there... non insulin dependent diabetes, history of Parkinson's in his father, and eating red meat and fried foods too much. At one time Levi was a long distance runner, beautiful body and his decline happened so quickly beginning in his late forties. It is really all about diet, sleep, exercise. I believe it was devoted practice of meditation that prolonged his life. I really beat up on myself for not strapping him down to eat an healthier diet and understanding today what I didn't understand more clearly then . Not just about diet but about love and relationships. Blessings to Tom Bilyeu and Max Lugavere for an excellent interview!

Doctors focus on their field of study and become experts in a narrow field. Many of them neglect to continue learning, challenging the status quo, and most of them would never create a custom solution based on your challenges. Learning about your health is your job and with the help of the available experts on the web, we all have a chance to find solutions. Thank you, Tom, for branching out into the health field and the growth of human potential. Great job Tom Bilyeu and Max Lugavere!

My grandma though and my dad are very poor sleepers, however my grandma now is 96 and her cognitive performance is still so good, she could pick up a phone and ring a person without looking at the phone book, still have great sense of humor..., my dad is also similar , he is 78 without any chronic diseases, very mentally competent...I m hoping to be half as good as they are when i get to their ages, unfortunately i also inherited their bad sleeping genes!

All my life I've experienced the benefits of saunas. Helps me with workout recovery, better sleeping, clearing the mind and cleansing the body. In Finland we have all kinds of sayings regarding the sauna, that it's a "poor man's pharmacy", or that it cleanses illnesses and the soul, washing away your sins. It's a place of sacred significance for Finns.

I liken that to onsens of Japan....medium to high heat of water in pools , wooden tubs or tiled that normally would have diff sorts of ing like rice wine, herbs and a lot more. Water fr some onsens come directly fr hotsprings...it feels so relaxing after an onsen bath, everytime. Best is to go there before dinner time...after a bath, put on ur pajamas and enjoy a hearty dinner...oh yes, thats very normal in onsens 💖

The human body is truly amazing! So grateful for these Health Theory episodes that feed my curiosity so readily. On a side note, I'm finding it absolutely fascinating that the guests of Health Theory, when asked what one change people can do to make an impact in their life, are making recommendations that are not immediately related to the reason they are on the show (not that it's not all connected, it's just not necessarily related to the episode's "theme"'). Curious to see if the trend continues in future episodes :)
Max Lugavere - Episode "What to Eat to Improve Your Memory", Impact: Be kind
Naveen Jain - Episode "This Is The Root of All Chronic Disease", Impact: Become intellectually curious
Suzanne Ryan - Episode "How Mindset Helps You Battle Obesity", Impact: Invest in yourself
Emeran Mayer - Episode "Why Your Gut Is Your Second Brain", Impact: Exercise
Shawn Stevenson - Episode "Why Sleep Is More Important Than Diet", Impact: Surround yourself with healthy people
Mark Sisson - Episode "Why The Keto Diet Will Change Your Life", Impact: change the way the world eats to improve health worldwide (asked for what impact he wants to make on the world, not personal impact)

Very awesome video! I'm so proud of you both for making an "impact" in the world with your work. What great value people like you bring into the wounded world we now live in, providing healing solutions to common problems we face today. I hopefully am also on the path to provide value like you guys do, got to start somewhere! By the way, aside from the great content, I'll be sharing this video tomorrow because of the clean language! Also, it is my opinion that God is influencing many people like you guys to spread knowledge to help empower individuals with greater willpower and fulfillment by living true principles that bring the fulfillment. Health is one of the three most important things we need in life, the other two being, mindset and spirituality. Thanks again!

There’s a great little book on natural healing written by an older man who cured himself of a number of maladies without medical intervention, called My Physician, Myself. I read it a couple of years ago but lost my copy. I’m going to Amazon right now to order one and be more careful with it. It’s more than worth the read. You might look into the work of Luigi Cornaro, a Venetian nobleman who lived to be 102.
